Camp has he potential to be a serious weapon both in the slot and as a returner. I'm guessing if he can stay healthy he makes the roster... especially since it's dubious whether Perriman will be ready when the regular season opens.
Wallace has turned out to be a big addition... especially since Perriman has proven to be a slow healer. Perriman can now take his time and (hopefully) come back at full strength at some point in the future.
Why the rush to dump Monroe? Whatever happened to playing the best five on the OL? Reminds me of our rush to dump "Q"... we all know what a disaster that decision was. I wonder who is calling this shot?
Can't blame the young man if his ACL tore... questions should be focused on whether or not there were indications that he had physical problems before the draft. If not... It's just bad luck all around.
Joe certainly had one extraordinary four game run in our most recent Super Bowl year. He really needs to start earning that contract this year to get us back to another SB.
If they really want to start the best five... Monroe won't be going anywhere. Stanley may well wind up playing along side of Monroe at LG... or on the far side at RT. If the Ravens want Joe to earn his contract they better give the best OL they can.
It's pretty clear that the wise guys don't think much of this year's Ravens... IMHO the biggest factor is which Suggs shows up... the motivated and in shape one or the other guy. The next one is the OL... it's looking more and more like Monroe is gone... instead of the Ravens planning to put their best 5 OL members on the field. Both cause a little concern.
If the Ravens want to play their best five players on the OL this year they will keep Monroe. And by the way, opioids are indeed over-prescribed by the medical profession... the drug companies provide financial incentives to do so.
