Lance Moore is reportedly being cut by the Saints... what are some thoughts on him... i've really liked this kid and he should be a bargain for his skills set.

yes he seems like a ozzie type of signing and the ravens are looking for a slot wr SO yes. but i like him and Andre roberts i think the ravens can get both at a bargain.

I hear Delmas is getting some interest so he might go for a little more than we want. Clemmons would be a good pickup however as would Griffin. And yeah I don't know why Miami decides to do some of the things they do lol

They're probably thinking Byrd, then, which would obviously put him out of Baltimore's range.

 

Clemons could probably be had for fairly cheap, too. He just does not get nearly the recognition he deserves.

Chris D. Clemons isn't a flashy playmaker, but he is extremely solid in coverage and a very underrated free safety. Given how much cap space Miami has, I'm not sure Baltimore could get him, but I'd hope they could at least make a run. More realistic than Jairus Byrd.

I also would love to target Walter Thurmond III. I feel he flies under the radar a lot because he plays for a great secondary in Seattle, but he's an underrated cornerback for sure.

 

dolphins said there not bring chris clemons back they want to upgrade even more at FS so we can get him. very very good in Coverage.

The contract details are inaccurate, and there was no such offer made to Veldheer.

this is the source that put out the Veldheer contract . and he's applogizing on twitter. but there was an offer but not that much money.

Well if the deal is correct, that's 11 million a year for Veldheer. What does Miami throw at Monroe? At this point I think the Ravens should make a play for Anthony Collins from Cincy

yeah miami already came out and said they'll paid whatever to get monroe maybe even way overrrrrrpaying lie 58 million or 60 million which takes us out of the play for him.

As you just posted, it's not an official agreement yet, but I don't see how he doesn't take that offer.  That kills us for the Monroe market as well.

i know just how i was tell the other guy it might take 10 to 11 million to keep monroe and he's not worth that much.

monroe is most def a better tackle and now with maybe veldheer getting 9 million per it might take 10 to 11 which i don't see happen for monroe.

Can't say I am surprised, the Raiders have TONS of cap space so that was only a matter of time.

Exactly.  There's no way to know 100% that you're going to get a franchise LT, but if I had to pick anyone available this offseason either in the draft or FA, I'd lean towards Monroe being the best option.

yeah most def but miami has made it clear to monroe. He heard from a few different people that Dolphins made it known to Eugene Monroe's representation they will PAY BIG to bring him to Miami.

Monroe's only real poor game came in the tornado conditions in Chicago against freak of nature Julius Peppers.  I'm willing to give him a pass for that game.  He was damn good in all but that game.

yeah he went on a  4 or 5 game streak with giving up nothing from his side period. no hurries, no presures,no sacks nothing.

And this sounds even more doom and gloom...

Nothing new on Eugene Monroe from Monday when sides remained far apart and he wasn't tagged. No negotiations today, per source.

Ravens didn't communicate any sort of tag to Eugene Monroe. Would be surprised if they used it given how expensive it is. Talks to continue

For Monroe, I don't think it matters if it is front loaded or not. He's very young, so it's not like his play would decline and we'd be stuck with a contract similar to Ngata, in all likelihood (I hope). I hope Smith signs here for 3 more years, and Pitta, I see a four year contract. 

I want Alex Mack more than anything after Monroe.

 

i know i want Alex mack to  but we might have to go with Brian De la Puente which he might cost 10-20 million cheaper.

Getting Pitta locked up before the franchise tag date is imperative because it would allow us to tag Monroe

yeah but the ravens might surprise people with all 3 guys deals Daryl, Eugene and Dennis all in the same day. then a  presser about it.
