That's not what I heard. I saw the EDS could be one of the first ones signed after FA officially opens tomorrow.
i saw Somewhere that said the ravens are interested in Joe Hawley C/G from the falcons he's 25 young and can all 3 interior positions.
Albert Breer @AlbertBreer 48m With Veldheer expected to go to AZ, Albert to Miami, the Ravens and LT Eugene Monroe are deep in constructive talks, working towards a deal.

I'm not able to find any reference where Schefter indicated anything about how close we are to closing a deal with Monroe. Nothing I could see on his twitter feed.
look up @evansilva he tweeted it out.
Yeah I'd guess that if it came to that, we'd make a serious play for Veldheer or Collins. Judging by how things are going, I'd expect Monroe back now, but it sounds like they have a plan B. I don't know if they'll get to plan B though because Schefter made it sound like it's close.
yeah he did which we have 3 oline positions done with of course with a healthy KO at either Guard or Tackle its a alot easier now if we are close to signing monroe. then it would leave center and or Guard/RT left to fill.
What other options would they have for tackles in free agency
michael oher! lmao!
W/ McClellan signed, Doss non-tendered & 6 ERFAs 2 b tendered, Ravens will (barring other moves) enter FA period w/ approx $21M in Cap space
ESPN's @AdamSchefter on free agent LT Eugene Monroe: "I expect him to be back with the #Ravens."

Players expected to be changing teams: Jared Allen, Branden Albert, Jared Veldheer, Rodger Saffold, Arthur Jones, James Jones.
just got word Albert to the Dolphins is a done deal! he signing on tuesday!
The Miami Herald's Armando Salguero is hearing free agent LT Branden Albert's deal with the Dolphins is "almost done."
Yeah, Monroe is more of a technician or finesse tackle. He's not a mauler at all. But that's what makes him a good scheme fit, and that's probably why Ozzie won't pay him as much as he wants.
yeah he a finesse zone blocking tackle which fits our scheme.
I also don't think he was the best tackle in the market. Brandon Albert has the potential to dominate when he feels like it, he's just been inconsistent during his career and is frequently injured.
yeah that what the dolphins said about albert he can dominate in the run game and bring physicailty to the line more than monroe.
The fact Collins and Veldheer will sign for less than both Albert and Saffold, shows how stupid the front offices of Miami and Oakland are. Ozzie knows that and will probably get Monroe at around the same as Veldheer and Collins.
it also looks pretty stupid to monroe that all these guys are signing at reasonbile to ok prices than to you want to be mr give me money! NOW at 10 and everybody looking at you like cheaper options lol
For all those holding on hope that Monroe will sign for cheap, he won't. I guarantee its at least $9.5 from the Ravens. Roger Saffold for $8 and Albert for $9.5 means the Ravens will have to pony up for Monroe
i'll take him at 9.5 screw it but what if this was a plan by ozzie to scare teams away from monroe so they can get a deal done under table by tuesday. wouldn't be surprised.
Just about to hit that, I saw it was a mistake. Should've known, that's a ridiculous amount of money, even for the Raiders.
i know right they never offered anything to him thats why he wants to leave. he though they wanted him but after the tag date went by they did nothing for him so no steal that's what he is worth 7.5 to 8 million yes!
Yeah I am very surprised they are getting paid this low. Also Veldheer apparently got offered 11 mil per to stay in Oakland so Arizona getting him that cheap would be a steal.
that 11 mill offer never happen it was fake the guy made it up. it was from one of the oakland PR guys.
Saw it on Twitter. Someone from SI I believe. I'm on mobile or I'd look it up.
also news just in saffold just told the rams hes' not resigning with them meaning he on his way to the raiders or the bucs but it looks lie the raiders.
Free agent G/T Rodger Saffold informed the Rams on Sunday that he won't be re-signing.
So, the Dolphins and Albert are pretty much a done deal. It sounds like Veldheer will be moving to Arizona. Collins and the Bucs are close as well. The Raiders are said to be close with Saffold, but a report just came out that they reached out to Monroe tonight after learning that Veldheer is likely gone.
but if i'm monroe i'm not going to the raiders they suck! so you rather be paid 10 mill on a team going nowhere than a team just coming off a SB win!!!! yeah that makes total sense for monroe.
Optimism growing that Monroe will stay in Baltimore.
yeah heard there alot closer to a deal than last couple days ago. also heard he wants to see what albert get first. but it is looking more likey that he's coming back. probablt around 9 per year than 10
just in time here a update on everybody!

Raiders have been talking with several tackles, including Monroe and Saffold. Buccaneers have talked with Saffold and Collins.
Could just as easily be a smokescreen. I think Monroe is going to get a market
probably not with the dolphins at least from what i heard they close on a deal for Albert. rapoport just suggested the raiders go after saffold that not something the raiders said they where doing.
i bet alot of teams saw that report from the ravens that he wanted 10 mill a year and was like whoa! he's not worth that at all. now 8 or 9 yes 10 plus HELL NO! your not Joe thomas and your sure as hell ain't Duane Brown so get out of here with that mess monroe. i though a fair deal for him was a 5-45 million dollar deal getting 8.5 or 9 a year. not 10 againI think Monroe and his agent got a wake up call about his true value after wanting $10M a year. I think he'll re-sign with us for $7M-$8M a year in the end.
Only the Raiders have the cash to burn and can give in to Monroe's demand, if all their target OTs are gone.
i highly doubt he goes to the a losing franchise that over the ravens for couple million more thats just dumb.
