I think the Ravens draft was sound, and in my opinion that is the best any team can do. Some college players make a smooth transition to the NFL.....some do not. They have the talent in college, but for whatever reason it doesn't pan out in the pro's. Some guys that analyst peg outside the draft, get signed as undrafted, and beat out guys for a starter spot (Scott, Ellerbe). So I for one am big time excited to see how this years team is going to look like. I can't wait :) This is going to be a special year. GO RAVENS! 25
Stanley was a bit of a surprise, I thought it would be Tunsil if a tackle was selected twitter feed or not. But, Stanley is solid. An excellent player that is sorely needed by position on the Ravens after the last few years of "will Monroe play or not?" each week. GO RAVENS!
Shouldn't Ravens pick before Jacksonville since they ended with the same record and Ravens lost to Jacksonville or am I missing something?
It has something to do with the conference position with a tieing record of three teams, and it defaults to the team that had the hardest schedule....or something like that. LFW explained it once before. I agree with you, it always seems there is some rule out there to hand the Ravens the...Dirty...end of the stick, but what can you do about it? GO RAVENS!
I love the way these sports writers try to guess what Ozzie and Eric will do....hey Cole, why not? you have a 50% percent chance of being right....and 50% chance you're wrong , LOL. GO RAVENS!
If the Ravens can beat the "Kitty Cat Thug Gang" in Cincy and the Browns stay ....well the Browns.....I think the Ravens have the "those that shall not be named" dudes in Pitts number lately. Given the state our division, injured players returning or not I think the Ravens have a good (to very fair) chance of taking the division. Once in the tournament, the Ravens will do, what they do.
GO Ravens!
I kind of hope the Ravens take someone in the 6th overall pick versus dropping back too far for more picks (a few spots back is cool though of course). I mean the Ravens now have 7 picks in the first 4 rounds, I would rather see a very possible powerhouse player come on board than a couple of additional 2nd, 3rd, or 4th round players in exchange for that 6th overall pick. GO RAVENS!
BTW, love the new website format, looks great and easy to navigate. The only thing missing is the like/disagree button.... as it is now you have to go to forums to use that function.
I'm crossing my fingers and toes that Bosa is there come our turn on the clock. But.....if not "in Oz we trust!" has always been a winning formula, so, come draft day loading up on wings and brew and see what Oz and Eric will do! GO RAVENS!
I wonder if Urshel the math genius can play tackle. He did pretty good at center considering the baptismal by fire in a position that is one of the hardest to play on an O-line. Not perfect, but not too shabby either... :) GO RAVENS!
Yeah, if Wallace, SSS, Perriman, and Aiken stay healthy.....opposing DC's better stock up on rolaids! This is going to be good! GO RAVENS!
IMHO The Ravens "style" is whatever is needed for the best team that can be put on the field, and several years from now. Perhaps they feel they have more latitude in FA than in past years because of having the 6th overall. One thing's for sure, that Ozzie and Eric know what they are doing, so buckle your chinstrap! It's going to be a great year! GO RAVENS!
Why only 20? :) GO RAVENS!
My heart goes out to his family, I can't imagine what they are going through. I know if I were to lose one of my children I would be devastated. My prayers are for them in this troubled time. We all know Tray because he was a Raven, but this goes beyond football. He was a wonderful young man that was taken home at an age far too young.
He's excited to be a Raven...I'm excited he is a Raven.....now onward to the path to the SB!!!! GO RAVENS!
Weddle is a playmaker! The Ravens needed that threat to keep QB's honest, this.....is going to be a great year! Welcome to the Ravens Eric. One things for sure, the Ravens are a family organization, so if his daughter dances at halftime you can bet he can watch her dance this time without reprisal. GO RAVENS!
Yanda a true Raven! So.....what's all the maneuvering about Oz? Hummmm....highly unusual moves for Ravens front office in FA, first Watson, making bigtime cap room.....o.0 The plot thickens! GO RAVENS!
I literally have to wipe away the drool just thinking about 6th overall, then the 36th......wow, this draft is going to be special! Look what the Ravens do picking around 23rd and 40 something each year. Man, I'm psyched!!! GO RAVENS!
I am sure TMZ is frantically trying to get the dash cam footage from the police cruiser so they can play it over and over with background noise of screaming goats from the internet. This is a small thing. GO RAVENS!
Glad Joe is our QB. One thing is for sure when he plays, he will never stop fighting for the win (like jump on a fumble in the 4th quarter, Cam?). LOL, seriously though, if given the choice, I can not name one single QB in the league I would want under center for the Ravens other than him. Raven for life Joe! GO RAVENS!
Hey...one thing is for sure.......congress is definitely NOT ELITE! So they should be the last folks to judge anybody! GO RAVENS!
This is very cool indeed! Cap space, 6th overall pick, Sizzle and SSS coming back.....Starting to look pretty sweet in Ravens world! GO RAVENS!
I've never been a fan of free agency. During the season a player says, " I am a (fill in the team) all out player, heart and soul!" ......a few million dollars more later in FA....the same player on his NEW TEAM says, "I am excited about being a (fill in the team) heart and soul!". Just once, I would like to hear a player say "I don't care what someone wants to pay me elsewhere, I am a (fill in the team) and here to stay!". But....back to reality, lol. GO RAVENS!
Let's hope we get everybody back, and they stay relatively healthy this year. If so, it is realistic to be a true SB contender! GO RAVENS!
Let's hope that this year's draft (being in the position they are) is a grand slam! Let's see how many become starters from this class by 2018. GO RAVENS!

As a military background guy I really respect this guy. Most folks underestimate the level of dedication required just by the academy, much less preparing for the NFL. I think years from now we all will look back to this moment. This guy truly does have the heart of a lion! GO RAVENS! 25
