Well.....15 more to go and win, I kind of figured Kubiak knew how to break up our offense, and we had a good idea of what he brought. Almost pulled it off at the end. All in all in a hostile stadium with a top notch team in the heat....it could have been worse. GO RAVENS!
Since the Steelers lost yesterday it takes some of the pressure off the Ravens. I say just go out there in Denver and do what you do and have fun. Hammer them good! GO RAVENS!
Like choosing between North Korea and Iran in a conflict. Best scenario is a tie and they beat each other up in a brutal game. GO RAVENS!
Toussaint will be asked a lot of questions by the Steelers ("tell us the difference between last year and this year practices", "What about the playbook?" etc.), and then let go.
I am the first to agree with you on Steelers skulduggery, but I think because of Bell's suspension they have a legit need for another RB.....once Bell is back or someone steps up, your right, they will cut him. Shame too, he seems like a pretty good RB. GO RAVENS!
I like the way Brown attacks the ball. Glad he was signed back! GO RAVENS!
I think the roster looks real good.I believe that the Ravens have one of the strongest rosters they have ever had. Let's hope it all meshes into a unstoppable football SB ring making machine! I can't wait for Sunday to get here! GO RAVENS!
Most media guys are Pro Steeler and Patriot trolls, Starting when the Ravens came to Baltimore from Cleveland, bashing and hating on the Ravens was (and still is) a popular pastime for most network folk. If Flacco was on almost any other team he would have received the praise he deserves for his accomplishments. Hopefully this is the beginning to change as these "network Raven hater dinosaurs" retire. Flacco is a top 5 QB whether they acknowledge that or not. GO RAVENS!
I don't know what is up with the Refs being all over the Ravens, something said in the off season?? I just hope it backs off before Sept 13th. And yes..... that tackle should have been flagged, and he should have been ejected, not Smith who hit nobody. Robinson tried to seriously injury Aiken with intent. I hope the league appropriately responds. If it had been a Raven player pull such a stunt it would have headlined all the networks all week, I haven't seen diddly about it. GO RAVENS!
You would think the Redskins won the SB here in Northern Virginia the way they are walking around talking trash. I just laugh and say, preseason!....you were losing 13-0 with the 1st team in remember? But, I guess for them it feels good to actually beat a quality team no matter preseason or not, somehow a little sad for them
GO RAVENS!
Normally I would say that since Jernigan walked off unassisted he should be OK, but after the delayed return of Perriman for an impact non-serious injury, I am holding my tongue on speculating how long someone is out. GO RAVENS!
1st team (even with injuries) looked great, back up players are a bit concerning but hey, this is what preseason is all about, discovery. GO RAVENS!
HRF is correct. Any non-bone related injury can be identified as a soft tissue injury. Could be; tendinitis, calf strain, hammy, deep muscle bruise, etc...!
AHA! Thanks guys for helping me out, So I see that it is a generic injury term so coaches don't need to be specific. OK, at least I don't feel like an idiot now wondering what exactly does that mean! ![]()
OK, somebody help educate this knucklehead as to what exactly is a "soft tissue issue" . A bruise away from bone? or internal lacerations? Kick to the groin? lol. I have no idea. I keep reading about this injury, but not sure what exactly that means. GO RAVENS!
Flacco's commercial was hilarious. However, I hope he doesn't have to worry this year about throwing a football party, I hope everyone else will while watching him play SB 50! GO RAVENS!
Quick (without looking them up) who did we play and what were the results of the last two preseasons?......yeah, forgotten right? Because these are evaluation tools for coaches and players to get ready for the real season....so, moving on are we now, yes?! GO RAVENS!
If Steve Smith chose to retire a Panther it would not take away from any of the awesomeness of him being a Raven in my opinion. It is a shame he was on the wrong team for 13 years, there is no doubt he IS what being a Raven is all about. Raven nation embraces his bravado, loves the attitude! Panther....Nation(?) was often taken aback or embarrassed by it. I am glad I bought his jersey, and I will wear it for years to come! GO RAVENS!
I just was talking to the athletic director/ coach of a local High School team here about the "roughing the passer" penalty. His perspective made me think. He said that the NFL has created a monster with their interpretation of the rule. It has turned into a "don't you hurt my gazillion dollar QB investment rule". Nothing to do with the original intent to protect a QB from being blindsided after he PASSES the football. He said the HS rule is clear cut, if a QB is moving with his hands and the ball below his shoulders he is a runner and not eligible for protection under the rule. In HS the ball must leave his hands in a pass to qualify. Otherwise it is either a sack or a legal football move. He noted that many read options and wildcat plays use the deception of the QB as a viable run option so how can you have a "roughing the passer" call if he is not clearly passing. He said the NFL should change the name then to "roughing my investment rule'. I like his take and I agree. GO RAVENS!
Yeah, bad pass Big Joe, hope that is the bad for the year from everyone. BTW, speaking of injuries the Steelers just toted Pouncey of the field on a stretcher. So yes we have injuries but not too serious to starters ....so far. Let's stay healthy out there! GO RAVENS!
Well....it is preseason, so let's fix the bad.....first game is coming fast! GO RAVENS!
The medical staff is just being cautious with Perriman's knee injury, why would they rush with the 1st round draft pick, still got 24 days to go before the season starts. Plenty of time still IF they even let him start. Not like we don't have enough receivers with talent. Sure his speed would be a bonus, but the Ravens would still should be a dangerous team this year without him. My opinion only. GO RAVENS!
Not counting today.....T Minus 24 days and counting! GO RAVENS!
This guy has the heart of a lion! GO RAVENS!
Steve Smith NEEDS a ring, let's go Ravens, GET IT DONE! Such fun having Steve Smith on the Ravens, truthfully, I know he has to do what is right for him, but I hate to see the ride end! GO RAVENS!
No real surprises here so far, looks good to me
Let put on some rings! GO RAVENS!
