  1. except they rushed six and played man, so it was 1 on 1, and they had just completed the very same play for 20+ yards on the previous down.

You're, right it was one on one (I remembered the safety coming over after the ball was thrown). But.......Tony Jefferson backed off the line, sprinted to the center of the end zone, and was in position over Gilmore as the blitz came, Had Gilmore slanted or anything else but that, the DB would have been out of position, and again you are also right, the Ravens did this before....that's how they knew exactly what they were going to do. My point was that the offense is way too transparent way too often with plays. GO RAVENS!

  2. Thick or thin loss or win I am a Ravens fan. 1. Offense may not be good enough, but Defense has far greater issues. 2. Commentator were laughing as they predicted the first play of our offense (swing pass to Juice) each half. They were calling out our plays before they were run.....if we are that transparent to commentators, no wonder we are 1-6. 3. Never seen officiating that obviously was that sided, if a Raven hit Johnson it would have been a UR penalty giving them a 1st down. 4. Defenses are on to lobbing one up to Gilmore, hence why two defenders standing with him. 5. I say it's time to start thinking about drastic change to the defense. GO RAVENS!

  3. I don't care if the team is 1-15 or 15-1, I am the same Ravens fan for every game, regardless. Sure I get frustrated, but it's because I care. But.... if this is not to be the good season we all hoped for, then it's on to FA, and the draft! I will always wear my Ravens stuff proudly no matter how any season turns out. You guys can Neg me as a homer all you want, but to me that is what a true fan is. I for one stand with our team. GO RAVENS!

  4. I think the biggest difference between the Ravens and the other "beat up" teams is the 2-3rd string or backups are not as good as they are on other teams. This was apparent in preseason and it reared it's ugly head as injuries required people to step up. Injuries aside....many of the "big plays" that were game changers happened to the starters, not to back ups. With all the talent on defense.....the Ravens defense should not be getting owned like it is. GO RAVENS!

  5. When I went to the free open practice at M&T one of the things they specifically worked on was the two minute fast drill, it looked pretty good then. I didn't see that in the final two minutes Sunday. Now....I know that it is tough after playing for 2 hours in 75 degree weather to "sprint" and yes Yanda got hung up, but my question is why after practicing this, plays took so long to get called and lined up for? Just like in the practice at M&T there should be 5 or so pass plays on "speed dial" that can be launched quicker. I think people are assuming people are implying the team gave up......not so, but we SHOULD be much better at this since it was a key area worked on in the preseason. My HO only. GO RAVENS!

  6. I saw a 2nd and 7 with the secondary backed up 7-9 yards...???? this is what makes me crazy, it's an easy 1st down or at least a manageable 3rd anyway you slice it, that's just dumb. Then I saw both safeties on the line, I yelled "no! easy TD to Boldin or Smith!" and of course Smith did just that. That.....is not smart football. Well, let's see what comes from this hardship, IMHO some of our guys will be better for this, some will not, and leave. GO RAVENS!

  7. With the way the defense is playing there is little to no room for Flacco to mess up, so two turnovers put the Ravens under. AGAIN the defense was dissected by a so-so QB.....question, why was Monroe jogging to the line with seconds left? Wow, and we wonder why we lost. Oh well.....at least we can have a good draft at this rate. GO RAVENS!

  8. It used to be it was big news that a NFL star player is out for the season due to injury. Think back to just a few years ago when Peyton Manning had to have neck surgery due to injury and missed the whole year. People had discussing groups about it on TV for weeks. Now days it's not about who is the missing injured star, but who's left on the team to play? This is league wide so something has changed causing these injuries. GO RAVENS!
