You know back in the 80's when the average safety weighed about 180 lbs having a 53 man roster was pretty fair keeping a team from stacking too many stars. But with the pace of the game, and the magnitude of human collisions these days.....the potential of serious injury of players by playing too many downs is high. I really think, for player safety sake, rosters should be expanded to 60, maybe 63. This will allow enough players to switch out before minor problems become major without teams comprising performance. Sure, fantasy owners will whine about low numbers on key players because of the "spreading of the wealth", but compared to a player's health, which is more important? GO RAVENS! 25
