I think Matt Schaub could be a starter somewhere, we are lucky to have a first rate QB as a backup for Flacco. I still remember as a kid how Earl Morrall would have to step in for the injured Johnny Unitas and win back a losing game. People should not underestimate the importance of this position. God forbid anything happens to Flacco, but if needed, I think the Ravens have the right guy. GO RAVENS!

I think it's pretty cool,far better than the "flick of their noses" disrespect we usually get from the media. But....it is preseason. I alway looked at power rankings as something to make other teams feel good about themselves after the Ravens beat them I don't need Peter King to tell me the Ravens are a top notch team...We all know they are, every year, whether the media admits it or not. One really cool side effect of this power ranking is that the band wagon Steelers fans down here in Northern VA are either furious, or already jumping ship. I saw a Ravens bumper sticker placed over a Steelers bumper sticker on the back of a car. If I wasn't driving down 495 I would have snapped a picture of it. It was either a Ravens fan being creative, or a new convert LOL. Either way, it made me laugh when I saw it. GO RAVENS!

Ravens at #1 in power rankings??!! I haven't seen that since..... >.> have the Ravens ever been #1 in the PR? I don't recall so. About time SOMEBODY recognizes what the Ravens bring to the table. King knows it....this, is going to be a great Ravens year! GO RAVENS!

I think this year the offense will hit the field running even with the coordinator change because of what they are doing now. Flacco said it himself that they are already running things not seen usually until training camp. They need to be ready....the first game up is against Kubiak (thanks again NFL schedulers for doing your part to throw the Ravens under the bus BTW!) You can bet he will point out every offensive players tendency and any weaknesses to their DC. GO RAVENS!

I hope Trestman is as good as advertised. The offense has more talent (IMHO) on the roster this year than last year. If he is the "QB Whisper" everyone says he is.....this is going to be an awesome year! GO RAVENS!

Steelers best uniform...really? Apparently UNI is a Steelers troll, it would seems those "purdy" yellow and black jerseys didn't dazzle the Ravens. Pretty uniform? Who got stomped in the wild card game....in their own stadium......yeah, still feels awesome to say that! GO RAVENS!

I don't think anybody will get too excited about the new point after kicking distance.....until one of the "darling teams" misses one and loses a crucial game. If it's the Patriots.....look for the rule to change back! LOL GO RAVENS!

When it comes to these QB ratings things NFL Network and ESPN is doing, it really irks me the way they obviously "dis" Flacco.....I know I should ignore it, but these "Raven-haters" are getting old! Flacco could save an orphanage that's on fire on his way to beating Brady, Big Ben, and Peyton Manning in the playoffs, and still be listed behind .....Jay Cutler or Alex Smith.....Hopefully as time passes some of these dinosaur media haters are replaced with unbiased journalist. The Raven fan base is growing rapidly and perhaps the networks will realize that these days of Raven-hating, needs to stop. GO RAVENS!

I think this was an awesome draft! At least on tape and paper anyway. For some reason this years draft seems to have fallen perfectly in line with needs. Let's hope this draft becomes a legendary one, where we go back and look at it in a few years and say... "Wow, look at all the stars in the 2015 draft!". GO RAVENS!

I think that football as a sport has evolved to such a high level of physicality and competitiveness that the equipment that was once believed sufficient to protect our kids during play is not as good as we once believed it to be. If, as a culture, we continue to press the levels of strength and endurance (which I can't see us stopping) then we need to develop new technologies to protect our kids and players better. I played football, and loved everything about it, and I know I am better today because I played. But had my mother been provided the flood of information about brain injuries back when I was a boy, she may not have let me play. It's hard justifying any kind of sports injury, that will not change. But the one big scare to parents today is concussion injury. I believe that solving this needs to be a priority. This one issue has the potential to have an serious adverse affect on the future of the NFL. GO RAVENS!

Unlike some of my other purple brothers (as seen on this board) I like your perspectives and the insights you have when presenting these articles, so I can get over a glitch here or there. So, you just keep writing from your heart brother, you are doing an excellent job to me.....GO RAVENS!

Good field position can spark a team on, and bad position can put a team on it's heels....not always, but it helps when your opponent is constantly starting close to his own goal line. Sam Koch's influence may never be fully appreciated because when he is on his game it's the defense that reap the benefit. Great job Sam! GO RAVENS!

Thats a shame, My brother-in-law over in Germany is a huge Ravens fan. We got him into American football by watching the Ravens play on TV. He and his friends were hoping the Ravens might play in London so they could go to a game. Personally, I am glad the Ravens aren't going to London. I think it takes a lot out of a team. But......I have to say it would have been real cool to see a bunch of German fans all decked out in full Ravens gear shouting things that Arnold Schwarzenegger would. "FLAACCO JA, Get themz, Whaz are you waiting for?!!". Yeah, that would be something to see for sure GO RAVENS!

C.J. Mosely was the best player on the board......what does Ozzie always do? Picks the best player on the board. I like the pick. This guy is awesome, I was surprised he was still available. Nobody wants to compare him to Ray...but he sure kind of looks like him when he plays! Ryan's famous shot at the Ravens was when he said "It isn't a rivalry until the Ravens start winning more" or something close to that....I think Clark and Sizzle may have had a couple media relayed verbal jabs at each other, but that's it. I know we have brought in ex-Steelers before (Dennis Dixon)....but not such a vocal Raven hater....hummmm, careful what bridges we burn huh? just would be kind of weird....or maybe I am looking into it too much.
