  1. You have the right attitude, I'm just gonna sulk for a while... it takes energy for me to not be mopey and I wasted all my energy grumbling at my television lol.
  2. I don't agree, but man it looks like he has forgotten how to read defenses or something. That first interception was the worst place to throw the ball, Gillmore was wide open in the flat. On the second he threw it to literally nobody except the defender. He was constantly throwing to men who were in double coverage, and if he wasn't the receivers either did him no favors or he straight up overthrew them. Run game looks back on track though, let's go back to the Jamal Lewis-era offense lol
  3. Nostalgia is a consolation prize for losers. Yes, I am that bitter.
  4. Bad coaching, bad decision making by Flacco, terrible play in the secondary. There was no motivation on the offense during that last drive, and I have no motivation to remain optimistic about the season. We can afford 1 more loss this season for any hope of making the playoffs, and this isn't a team that can pull off any kind of winning streak. Next week we'll hope to go win against a pissed off Arizona team that just got handed its first loss of the season by Pittsburgh. Carson Palmer is a better QB than anyone we've played so far and everyone before him has torn us apart. Monday night looks like it will be a train wreck. And if we pull off the miraculous victory... we're 2-5. Wow, inspiring. Hey, still love my Ravens though, but man we just can't get it together. We have always been a team that has played with its heart on its sleeve, and we still do that. At the end of the game today, this team oozed hopelessness.
  5. Steve Smith is having a bad game, but this entire team is having a bad game. There is no single more important issue than others, we just aren't a good team. My optimism has gone from dwindling to non-existent. If we lose this game we have no shot at the post-season.
  6. Seasons like this happen sometimes, we were 13-3 in 06 then 5-11 in 07. It has happened before, it'll happen again. The Ravens have always been a team where no matter the opponent, games come down to the wire and sometimes it just doesn't go our way. However, I am sorry for Steve Smith Sr., he deserves better than this.
  7. Being 8 years old and playing as Jamal Lewis in Madden 2002 is the reason I first became interested in the Baltimore Ravens. Watching him run in real life was even more of a pleasure, he's the best running back I've ever watched play with my own eyes. His legs never stopped, he loved contact, and he had that deceptively slow speed where you would have no idea how he was outrunning a cornerback when it looked like he was going slower than him. If he could have somehow repeated the success of the 03 season, he'd be a no doubt hall of famer. You're the man Jamal, and from this interview you seem like a really cool dude.
  8. Kinda neat coincidence, but our receivers on sunday are #s 11,12,13, and 14
  9. Yeahhhh, the pink and black is a great look. What is it that Deion Sanders says? If you look good, you play good and when you play good, you eat good.
  10. This is the greatest advice for any WR corps at any time.
  11. Well uh... at least Breshad will know the playbook by the time he's ready to go...
  12. Why would I root for anyone but Baltimore...? I don't understand this article. The best control we have over where we end up is winning our games. Let's do that some more and not have to rely on 'which team needs to lose,'
  13. Season is on the line, Babin better not think this is Jacksonville. We play to win.
  14. I'm trying to reserve judgement until the end of the game, but man this looks bad.
  15. Week 1 was an offensive nightmare, week 2 was a defensive embarrassment. I can't believe we just lost to the Oakland Raiders... it doesn't get any easier from here on out guys. Cincy next week, then Pittsburgh. Everyone is healthy, everyone had motivation to play, what is happening? The ship ain't sinking, but there might be a crack in the hull.
  16. I'm pretty sure the reason we didn't have a deep passing attack in week one is that Joe frequently had to hit his check downs because he was constantly staring pressure in the face. We had plenty of receivers running deep routes, but Joe was never able to get his eyes downfield. We need better protection before we can even begin to realistically criticize the gameplan, I feel like we didn't even get to see the gameplan...
  17. The Ravens are gonna find a way to keep Kapron Lewis-Moore, I believe that very strongly
  18. Perriman will be back and involved in the lineup by week 3, if I'm optimistic maybe he'll get a few snaps in week 2.
  19. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d29VsG35DQM how I feel about people talking about Perriman
  20. I bet the Eagles coach the same thing, high schools coach the same thing, colleges coach the same thing. The read option is a tricky play, and it can be a hard play to stop if you don't do things to contain it. One of the best ways to do that is to make sure the other team understands how much harm they put the QB in front of every time he takes on the role of "runner" instead of "passer." In Suggs' and almost every NFL DE/OLBs mind, going after the QB on every read option play is the best case scenario. You either get a TFL, a sack, or a good hit on the most important player of the offense that will make the OC think twice about running it again. That is the risk you run as an offense when you run the read option. For the Eagles to put Bradford's knees in that position during a preseason game is the biggest mystery here, bad call by Chip Kelly but instead of owning up to it he deflects blame to the Ravens.
  21. I'm just saying, on that punt return touchdown, I think Koch might've caught him if not for that blocker there. Nice wheels man!
  22. I'm sorry Jeremy Butler, but we don't need two Kamar Aiken's on our roster. Something has gotta give, and we need the skillset Waller offers more than the depth Butler provides.
  23. Don't have DVR but I'll rush home to watch the second half after work. thanks man.
  24. I totally agree with this, I'm super excited about this kid. Watching the tape from him in GT he looked twice the size of anyone around him, same with Carl Davis actually now that I think about it. But, remember Tommy Streeter from a few years ago? He was a size speed beast as well, I guess they just don't pan out sometimes. Here's hoping Waller is legit.
