A veteran presence with strong leadership ability always fits into a Ravens D. We just lost our young and fast guy, Zach Orr, and the word on the street is that McClellan will move back inside if necessary. D'Qwell is a much better player than that, even if it turns out like a Daryl Smith situation where he comes in for a few years, balls out, and moves on. Honestly, if the goal every year is to get to the playoffs, why wouldn't we want someone who can help us do that, even if it is only for a year or two? This isn't a team that needs to be totally rebuilt from the ground up, it is a team that needs a few plug and play starters to get over the hump. D'Qwell Jackson fits that mold.
