One thing Elam isn't is slow. He is often one of the first ones to the ball. He just doesn't make the play or the tackle when he's there.

It's more so he's just stiff looking. And yeah he has very short arms so it's hard to wrap up.

Last season really did a number on his confidence. I never was a fan of him coming out honestly. He just looks like a slow midget out there who can't tackle.

The most impressive part about what Ozzie has done is that he's working with way less cap than any other gm. We have so much dead money especially from ray rice it's ridiculous. Amazing.

OTAs havent even started. lean back a bit, enjoy the offseason with practical foresight, and look at the big picture without your purple shades, homie.

When we signed Michael huff people like the guy he's addressing were all like "aww yeah who we have Ed reeds replacement" on the contrary, we got dumerville and he exceeded expectations. I agree, but I'd change the "end of the rookie contract" to "end of next season". If he hasn't gotten it together after his third year in the league there isn't much hope imo.

Lol trust me man I feel the same way I was just being optimistic for him since everybody here hates him now. Honestly if he gets beat out in camp by a free agent signee or a random 4th or 5th round gem we find then so be it.

Let's give him until the end of his rookie contract. Like the rest of you guys he has pissed me off to the max but he is still a Ravens and we must be optimistic. He has a skill set that can be utilized but he thinks too much instead of just playing. He just needs to settle down and let the game slow down for him.

I think he rushed the comeback due to time. Summer camps,  etc will be starting soon; it would be tough to get back to football if he just showed up at our door one day late in August.....either that, or he was just wrong; maybe he thought he was physically ready but had a rude awakening.

 

I can't justify the being late; but really, to me, it's whatever. Can't say I've never been late for a meeting or something like that that.

 

And just to clarify, I was never big on bringing him in in the first place, even at vet minimum. In fact, I strongly disliked it. He's a 1st round bust, always will be, and has never given me reason to think he would ever be more than another Jameel McClain.

Hes a tad more athletic than Jameel but for the most part you're very correct.  Id rather have arthur and Daryl for now.  I would almost rather start Bynes over him.

yes, we need to replace suggs. Seahawks have shown with good drafting ( ie no midgets in the secondary like mr eat greedy) you can get rid of past their prime players.
