Preston was right by the way to all who doubted him.

The more I think about this the more I think a Wes Welker type receiver would help us the most. Other types certainly have the ability to help us, but a quick, sure handed, extremely tough, slot receiver who has the ability to run slants and other middle of the field routes, and also has the ability to make yards after the catch, moving the chains; man, that sounds like a guy we could really use. With our OL's pass protection problems, Joe could quickly get rid of the ball to a guy like that and just let him make plays. Just like Wes Welker has done for both Tom Brady and Peyton Manning. When have we had a guy like that? And there's a Real good one Just like that available in this year's draft. His name is Brandon Cooks out of Oregon State. The only thing is, I'm a bit afraid he will not fall to us at 16/17 of the second round. And there are so many good bigger guys that will probably go in the first round, the Ravens would have a scary decision to make. If all these big name guys go in round one, without us grabbing one, and someone grabs Cooks before our second round pick, who's left? I've heard of a couple similar type receivers, but none the quality of Cooks. This guy, despite his size, has Never missed a game to injury from Pop Warner through his college career. That's an amazingly tough guy. And I think I read that he had 19 TDs this past season. If that's right, that's pretty amazing too!
I'd rather pick Michael Campanero
