  1. I have always found him(brady)and his behavior in public rather strange. I think he struggles with some sort of social phobia and/or social anxiety. It wouldn't surprise me if he has feelings of inferiority and is in need of constant approval as a result. What is perceived to be some form of humility and "aw shucksiness" by the throngs is to me, a little off. The frozen and forced tight lipped smile, the weeping (twelve years later) over the fact that he was picked later in the draft than he thought he might be, both indicate to me something abnormal. Also get a little tired of everyone raving over the fact that he has a super model wife, as if she is some great prize. Never mind she may be dumb as a wall or vapid beyond measure.(as an aside).
  2. Pretty much page one in the "what to do when you are guilty" handbook.
  3. Now that he has been fully "exonerated"he should demand that the league issue an impology.
  4. have a feeling zuttah will lose his job to Urschel and be relegated to backup guard/center.
  5. he's always appeared a little soft in the middle. definitely needs to get stronger..... i'm going to predict 39 catches and 5 td's for this year.....and i think he is 21.
  6. Cam worthy likely to be pup listed according to bleacher report. Worthy is legit. This may be an IR candidate and a player who the Ravens want to keep around for next year.
  7. Pretty much on the same plane to me is Gino. Huge disappointment. Terrible terrible center. But I place that one squarely on Ozzie and John. They watched this guy for more than a year and decided that after Birk retired, Gino was up for the task. The front office made a conscious decision that we were good and went with Gino. I have no doubt Gino worked his butt off. I'll take two frank walkers( if having to choose)for every Foxworth/Doss/Streeter/Elam/Reid.
  8. Sort of scraping the bottom for anything that might pass for an editorial style piece. As you say, a non- story. If Ngata were still here we would not have had the ammo to trade up for Maxx Williams(he would be a Steeler) and we would be without one of our fourth round selections. I lost respect for Ngata after his testing positive and subsequent lame excuse.
  9. Frank walker was bad and I remember him taking a lot of flack but I always sort of felt for the guy. He was always spilling his guts, played with effort, was pretty physical. Unfortunately he was also beaten deep routinely, usually out of position, etc. In his defense, he had no business starting at corner and did what he could with what he had. I take greater issue with a guy like doss who acted non chalant, played without great effort and basically took up space for a few years.
  10. You left out Waller? To me,Worthy is a WR to watch.I'm curios to see if Urschel pushes Zutta for a starting center spot.
  11. I think the Ravens love what Campanaro brings and hold on to him one way or another this year,no matter what his health, just as you suggest. I don't see them giving up on him.
  12. It is a bit frustrating to see but i'm not counting out the possibility that he can remain healthy.
  13. I get where you're coming from but I don't subscribe particularly. I could just as easily say his numbers were skewed by playing one half vs. the browns. I could say mannings td record was skewed by his throwing seven touchdowns in week one vs. the Ravens. It was, but it doesn't really matter. Maybe a better sample size would be the four games he played in 2013. He averaged five receptions per game which would give him 80 catches in a full season. My main point is that he and Flacco haven't missed a beat and if by a st one of good fortune, he is healthy and playing, I would expect it to continue.
  14. I didn't realize how productive Pitta was last year in 2 and 1/2 games. 16 receptions. It seems he picked up right away with Joe.
  15. No way Campanaro gets cut. This guy looked like he belongs right away. I see a dangerous slot receiver and a real weapon on third downs. They will find a way even if he does get hurt again to keep him around.
  16. I am a Marlon Brown proponent but must point out that Aiken was apparently ahead of him on the depth chart for most of the year. I wonder if that is still the case and if the staff is higher on Aiken than on Brown.I still think we keep seven. Five that I feel are definite would include Aiken and Brown(Smith,Perriman, and Campanaro) with two spots more or less up for grabs between Butler,Hardy,Waller,Carter. Come to think of it, I'll say Waller makes the team with Butler. Hardy and Carter (hopefully) make it through to our practice squad with Campanaro's health being the wild card.
  17. No way Campanaro,if healthy, does not make this team.
  18. Yes and I might be in the minority but I think he is a player worth waitng for to an extent. I think he has tremendous potential to be great. Right away, not down the road.
  19. Now this is an interesting notion. My sense is that even when/if cleared, he will be cleared with an attached caveat. This caveat being, of course; " you run the risk of it happening again".Everyone of course realizes that at this point but that brings it back ultimately to the decision to risk a re-injuring being on Dennis.
  20. There seems to be almost a consensus of opinion or general feeling around here that Pitta ought not come back. It almost feels as if some of us want him to stay sidelined. How fast would we turn around in our thinking if God forbid, Maxx or Crockett sustained an injury?
  21. Expect the Ravens to run PLENTY of two tight end sets this year. All this discourse as to whether or not Maxx "starts", to me is beside the point. Unless Pitta plays( I doubt it at this point), Maxx will be on the field plenty.
  22. Just watched the week three Browns match up. Elam was dreadful. The team performed poorly overall but Elam.....unwatchable.
  23. Maxx lined up all over the place at Minnesota. As an in line blocker, at full back, in the slot, as an h-back and out wide. He is a smart(albeit young) football player. Not the strongest as an in line blocker(yet) but is very assignment sound and when he gets hands on his guy he either moves them or holds them up. I think he makes an impact this year as a pass catcher putting up stats similar to his final year in college.
  24. I read the patriots were interested a bit ago.
  25. I would say Asa as it stands. The idea of adding Brown and having that much corner depth is exciting.
