  1. At 18 overall according to Tony pauline Could be going WR with 1st . Makes sense if they presume all 3 wideouts gone by their pick at 18. They also are apparently high on Conley there.
  2. Tennessee is purportedly interested in Awuzie with their second pick.
  3. 1) I think this guys rookie year is reminiscent of Anquan's, in terms of production and immediate impact. 2) slightly ambitious to think he will be there but a nice selection if he happens to be. 3) Dont like it. A straight need pick to me. And one based on projections. Really a bit of a tweeter. Very good athleticism but I don't see him as being able to hold up on the edge and don't see him as being very physical. Gets overwhelmed in the run game. Not a refined rusher by any stretch. ( believe his name is Tyus). 3) I can see The Ravens taking Pocic but don't care for him as a prospect. 4)seems like a slot guy to me. I do like the player and the motivation but there are a few corners I would take before him in the fourth. 5) Haven't watched this guy 6) If he's available round six this is a value to me.
  4. The more I think about McDowell to Pittsburgh, the more it gives me pause. He would fit in there. Between guys like Shazier, Tomlin, Harrison and Roethlisberger, I wager they conjure up the best of him in terms of effort. The residual effect he would have on guys coming off the edge would be a headache, putting it mildly. McDowell to Pittsburgh is a very bad thing.
  5. Takk being more athletic is extremely obvious. There is no comparison in terms of who has more skills as a pass rusher. It's Mathis. He wins the edge with technique, with great bend and because he can actually win with his hands and win inside. If Takk learns what Joe already knows in that regard he will be unstoppable. He has a ways to go to however..
  6. Haason Reddick TJ Watt (likely a trade required should he fall to second round). Ahkello Witherspoon Bucky Hodges
  7. the Oregon and Stanford games didn't make him appear better than he is. He's actually that good. He actually has a lot of answers rushing the quarterback. Far more than Takkarist. He wins the edge consistently because he understands how to set tackles up. He does run funny, though.
  8. Sounds like hubris. Have you actually watched Mathis?
  9. ...also would probably take McDowell over Bolles, the others, no. I considered Tim Williams but opted for Anderson/Mathis
  10. That's funny. Jordan Willis in which spot?
  11. Understand that in this scenario, guys like Reddick, Davis, etc. are all off board at 16. I get your point but this draft dramatically changes our offensive line thus changing the game significantly.
  12. Joe Mathis is a PERFECT fit for ravens at OLB. He is one of the more evolved pass rushers in this class. Great hand fighter, constantly working hands to gain advantage. Bends edge..wins a multitude of ways. He's too much for tackles he faces and constantly brings pressure. Tons of pop in his hands. Literally puts tackles on their butt with violence.Routinely jolts them backwards. Can't believe no one's talking about this guy. Watch him vs. Stanford. Watch him beat the tackles that handled Takk (who I like). Sets the edge, gets off blocks and makes stops in the run game. Has injury history and very limited time to this point. More complete player than many early round edge rushers right now. Can't believe this guy is getting no mentions. I was high on him a few months ago but just re watched. If convinced about medical he is an absolute and unadulterated bargain where he is projected.
  13. Ok. Now I don't feel quite so silly admitting this. A month ago I dreamed we drafted Jonathan Allen.
  14. McDowell ( if he's straight) to anyone in division...particularly Steelers
  15. Not on Witherspoon but you know that. Ross is a handful...electric quick, you'll get no argument from me. Witherspoon is more than up for the challenge.
  16. All we have to do is draft Witherspoon. He handled Ross nicely.
  17. Barnett would have his hands full with Stanley.
  18. Dalvin Cook is a steal for whoever takes him.
  19. Tampa trades their third round pick to Baltimore in order to jump Washington and procure Dalvin Cook.
  20. I'm a big fan of two DB'S coming out of this. Ardarius Stewart to me is great value. I prefer him to both Jones and certainly Godwin who are projected second round guys. You lose me at Noah Brown. Would definitely have gone somewhere else...if I'm doubling up again in this draft it is on the edge. Toth is one of my guys...no telling where he goes but I would be nervous past round five if he was someone I was targeting. Outside of Toth, the offense doesn't come out far ahead in this draft....this year at least.
  21. This could just as well be posted in, " under the radar" or, "bold predictions". JORDAN WESTERKAMP, WR, NEBRASKA Impressive prospect at six foot, one ninety. Exceptional hands, highly competitive and skilled route runner. Shows ability to get off press with hands and with quickness. Fearless over the middle...catches everything. Competes for and wins in jump ball situations. High points football. Tough. Coming off meniscus tear in December and has not worked out for teams. Could go undrafted as a result but strikes me as a player who will be very productive, primarily as a possession/slot receiver, though I believe he can be successful part time on the outside. Very surprised to not hear his name. I have a 3- 4th round grade on him but am thinking he could be viewed as a guy who can be had later.
  22. Ross is the first receiver taken. Ozzie trades back in rounds 2 and 3.
  23. Ravens draft Chris Wormley
  24. Ozzie would take those first four picks. The more I see Elflein talked about in round three, the more I begin to believe it. Really, landing four starters up front is entirely possible. Nice mock. I would be great with the first four but go elsewhere after that. Definitely not McDermott which feels only as a need type pick.
