If the Ravens had Julio Jones or any number of top 5 WRs they would of beaten NE and probably won another SB.(Altho you can argue the WRs did a lot to beat NE last season but the secondary choked). Flacco has not had a single consistent weapon year in and year out like most top QBs have had.
No more 3 man rush while playing 10 yards off the WRs it is killing us play man with Jimmy if you need to send help with Lewis on Webb's side do it let Will check the TE and blitz a little please
Maybe someone can help me out. If its 3rd and 5 and our CB are playing ten yards off the WR how do you logically defend a two step drop? I don't understand the reasoning.
As much as I love the Ravens, we hear this WR stuff every year and its tiring. I hate tossing money at free agents but maybe the Ravens should stick to that when it comes to WRs. Just seems like WR is something ozzie is horrible at drafting overall. It's just the same tune each and every year "WRs have something to prove" etc. Aside from Torrey Smith, our best WRs have been pickups from other teams.
Can't gauge right now, O-line let defenders in the backfield all day. I know Flacco is tired of changing OC and weapons every other year. Wish we had more consistency when it came to having the offensive pieces like we do on defense.
I'm thinking the $1M fine and the draft picks were for the teams knowledge and participation of it.
Every team in the NFL would pay one million and some draft picks for a SB win. I just don't understand how you can have a team that cheated in NFL games (big games too) and the penalty is basically nothing. NE does not even draft well enough for those lost picks to matter imo, and that 1 mill? Nothing to a Billionaire.
Last time they kept running up the score they choked in the SB.
Matt Schaub
Harsh lol
Lee Evans basically cost us a Superbowl (would've smoked the Giants that year, imo). That gives him the distinct award of All-Time worst Ravens players.
As much as we got on Cundiff for missing that chipshot, it wouldn't have won the game. Evans drop would have WON the game. Its def one of the worse plays in the history of the Ravens.
I don't think that you're shocked about the comparisons.. Rather what people are saying. See this is how I compare them.
Rodgers and Watt>>>>>>>> Every other player in the NFL.
Rodgers >>>>>>>>>>> Flacco
Ravens would have 2 SBs if we had Rodgers the entire time. He probably helps the Ravens beat Pitt in the AFCCG back in Flacco's first year. I won't even argue Rodgers is much better than Flacco because its a fact. I like Flacco though because hes underrated.
Who? lol
I WILL chear for Ray Rice. He performed a horrible unexcusable act against his wife and the ONLY reason he's not playing right now is because of the video INSIDE of the elevator was seen by the world. Everyone deserves a 2nd chance to prove that they can overcome a bad decision/mistake. Ironically, what team gave Donte Stallworth a 2nd chance when he got out of jail for vehicular manslaughter? Not saying his 2nd chance should be with the Ravens (Bisciotti said that would never happen), but I do believe he deserves one. I wish him the best regardless of the fact if he plays again.
BTW, this will probably be moved.
Stallworth was not a Raven when he committed that act so the Ravens were effectively the "other team" that gave him a 2nd chance. Rice should get a second chance but with another team.
No thanks, I'd prefer if another team gave him his second chance.
While upsetting to think that the Patriots cheated during our game with them, no amount of inflation would've stopped our Corners and Safeties from getting absolutely torched!
That's why its hard to say deflated balls played a role LOL. However cheating is cheating but Berad said, nothing can be done.
Will always be curious to know if balls were deflated during the Ravens-Patriots game which was a heck of a lot closer and maybe a deflated ball away from a Ravens victory..
No #52?
I like Ray but for some reason I don't feel compelled to get his jersey. I think its because if I buy his I want it to be authentic and I'd prob never wear it.
Think its time I find one I really want.
All I have(had) are
McNair and Rice...
I might get a custom jersey and get Boldin.
The 9-7 prediction for the Ravens looked painfully accurate. The reasoning for each win/loss seemed realistic. Unless the Ravens get on a good streak I seem them in a 10-6 season.
Had the colts not been crushed this would of been a larger story. Deflated balls against the Ravens in a close game? I'd be trying to get NE booted from the SB but the Colts were outright crushed in a way that goes beyond deflated footballs.
My brother asked me how Elam has been coming along...
I told him, remember Roy Williams from the Cowboys? Picture him, without the big hits laid down on RBs and TEs.
Add in horsecollar tackles and this is 100% accurate.
He was paying someone off and made it look like it was stolen so there wouldn't be a suspicious handoff.
Hawks are getting hurt and refs are calling PI's. Manning can "takeover" this game now
I'm really enjoying Welker getting blown up every time he touches the ball... I really dislike him and his loud mouth wife
Yep
TD against some of the softest coverage of the night. Come on Hawks
That hit on Welker told the story of the day

New England as 'Classy' as always. It's fine though, Ravens SB wins aren't covered in ***'s
