Vernon Hargreaves III, Mike Williams (Clemson), Karl Joseph
i mean they will probably go later but their talent could definitely be picked early.
then hopefully Dadi Nicolas is available in round 4
or a sleeper for Guard if Kelechi leaves
I don't get how Torrey or Forsett have been resigned yet
money...
Simple... they probably want more than they are worth... particularly Forsett.
Forsett can't be re-signed until FA begins due to him signing a veteran minimum contract with the Ravens last season.
Think we resign Torrey and let Forsett walk.
I think Daniels, Forsett, and Torrey all walk, and we get an FA WR and Draft WR and FA TE and draft RB
Think we do it the other way around, only because Forsett will probably come at a more reasonable price tag. Totally possible they both walk.
Torrey isn't the type of player that wants money over a winning team. I think he truly loves Baltimore especially since he was drafted here, went to Maryland, grew up in VA, and his son was born there. He's like T Sizzle in my opinion. He cares about winning and sentimental value to his team. Just my opinion.
Pierre Garcon to Baltimore make it happen Oz
hopefully the skins cut him lol
Wouldn't bet on him being cut
Depends on what happens with Jackson, but Garcon would save $8M. Considering he hasn't cracked 1,000 yards but once and he's never had double digit touchdowns, he probably isn't worth a cap hit of $10.2M
sure he may have been BPA but trade back! get more picks!
What TDubbs said
Without Tunsil nobody wanted to trade up, it takes two to tango, I'd take Stanley over a bad trade any day. After Tunsil's latest crap nobody wanted to trade up for him and that's understandable.
had a nightmare last night that we traded Terrell Suggs to the Falcons. woke up in horror checked to see if it was true...thank God it was just a dream
could be worse, we could have traded him to the Steelers
I keep having this vision of us acquiring Muhammad Wilkerson from the Jets lol.
That would be great JO
Hypothetically, if the Ravens do get a low draft pick and end the season under .500 do we go into rebuilding? or continue to try to plug in pieces of our puzzle.
And a new FS and edge rusher. We can take care of those things in one offseason in my opinion.
well i definitely think we need a FS if our young guys can't break out of their potential, with secondary it takes time. I also think Flacco needs weapons if he wants to be successful. I always hate on Flacco but thats mainly because the receivers we have other than Steve Smith are not the types of receivers that make QB's look good. Those receivers are Anquan Boldin, Torrey Smith, Derrick Mason, even players like Josh Gordon or Brandon Marshall make QB's look good because of the...
in my judgement we have been rebuilding since we won the sb. The pieces are just all not in place.
Looks like Colts are going to part ways with Chuck Pagano. How amazing would it be if we got Chucky back for DC?!
Deon Bush is going to be a solid pick for a late round
I'd love to have him here. He's a pretty good enforcer and is great at causing fumbles.
definitely. also would love Karl Joseph. We really need a playmaker in Baltimore's secondary.
John Harbaugh lost this game peeps...1st quarter...going for it on 4th and 1 with Schaub at QB? What was he thinking. Just when you think it can't possibly get any worse!
who would you take? Q. Rollins or J. Shaw? One should be a raven. Rollins has more upside than Shaw i think. But Shaw is a great press man.
the toughest part about picking defensive backs is the fact that it takes them a while to develop in the NFL. Pro ready DB's are tough to come by. Peters and Darby were the lucky 2 last year.
Titans want to get back into top 10 and if Tunsil gets past the Chargers, Ravens could possibly trade back with Titans and get an additional 2nd rounder.Â
In that position I'd prefer us to take Tunsil, our franchise will be better off imo. It's always nice in theory to get another 2nd round pick, but what does that player become? Is he a Torrey Smith, Upshaw, Osemele or does he become a Sergio Kindle, Terrence Cody? Give me the day 1 franchise LT over extra picks.Â
I'd be pissed if Tunsil was there at six and we traded out.Â
look back when it was eric fisher and jake matthews for the no. 1 pick, both graded out to be day 1 starters and franchise players, but they haven't done anything. A lot of tackles in the first round are overhyped beyond measure and the ravens know that, thats why and how they find talent in the later rounds. Not to mention, ravens gave monroe a nice contract, so that man is gonna work for it no matter how bad he doesn't want to play.
whether it be Rollins or J. Shaw one of them *OR BOTH* need to be in the purple and black
Eric Striker a gem? thoughts?
Doubt it...he doesn't fit any position well and doesn't have good enough strength to be an OLB in the 3-4Â in the NFL. His athleticism may be able to carry him into a spot as a 4-3 OLB but I don't think he'll every have a large role in any defense.
wasn't the same said for Elvis Dumervil though? Sure he's small, but remember, the lower man wins when pass rushing. I think if he does build up more strength on his frame, then he could be a solid pass rusher. He definitely has the motor for it.Â
Doom was short, not small. Striker is just plain tiny. At the combine Doom showed tons of strength at the bench press and respectable speed, only his height cost him. Striker on tape is just weak, there's no way he can play DE/OLB in the NFL, he just doesn't have the strength to beat NFL caliber Olineman, he'll have to stand up at ILB or OLB.
Another late round pick: Sean Davis/ Will Likely. Davis is more so the sure tackler and coverage guy. Will Likely is more so the playmaker, he'll try to make plays from anywhere on the field which lead to picks but also sloppy coverage at times.
