i mean they will probably go later but their talent could definitely be picked early.

  2. I don't get how Torrey or Forsett have been resigned yet

    2. rmcjacket23

      rmcjacket23

Simple... they probably want more than they are worth... particularly Forsett.

    3. Mt. Crushmore

      Mt. Crushmore

Forsett can't be re-signed until FA begins due to him signing a veteran minimum contract with the Ravens last season.

  3. Think we resign Torrey and let Forsett walk.

    1. juanman7

      juanman7

I think Daniels, Forsett, and Torrey all walk, and we get an FA WR and Draft WR and FA TE and draft RB

    2. ravensdfan

      ravensdfan

Think we do it the other way around, only because Forsett will probably come at a more reasonable price tag. Totally possible they both walk.

    3. pechillo

Torrey isn't the type of player that wants money over a winning team. I think he truly loves Baltimore especially since he was drafted here, went to Maryland, grew up in VA, and his son was born there. He's like T Sizzle in my opinion. He cares about winning and sentimental value to his team. Just my opinion.

  4. Pierre Garcon to Baltimore make it happen Oz

      pechillo

hopefully the skins cut him lol

    2. rmcjacket23

      rmcjacket23

Wouldn't bet on him being cut

    3. BmoreBird22

      BmoreBird22

Depends on what happens with Jackson, but Garcon would save $8M. Considering he hasn't cracked 1,000 yards but once and he's never had double digit touchdowns, he probably isn't worth a cap hit of $10.2M

Without Tunsil nobody wanted to trade up, it takes two to tango, I'd take Stanley over a bad trade any day. After Tunsil's latest crap nobody wanted to trade up for him and that's understandable.

    3. pechillo

      pechillo

lol ok then trade up for Ramsey if that was the right theory @TDubbs

could be worse, we could have traded him to the Steelers

  7. Hypothetically, if the Ravens do get a low draft pick and end the season under .500 do we go into rebuilding? or continue to try to plug in pieces of our puzzle.

    1. Deflated Football

      Deflated Football

And a new FS and edge rusher. We can take care of those things in one offseason in my opinion.

    2. pechillo

      pechillo

well i definitely think we need a FS if our young guys can't break out of their potential, with secondary it takes time. I also think Flacco needs weapons if he wants to be successful. I always hate on Flacco but thats mainly because the receivers we have other than Steve Smith are not the types of receivers that make QB's look good. Those receivers are Anquan Boldin, Torrey Smith, Derrick Mason, even players like Josh Gordon or Brandon Marshall make QB's look good because of the...

    3. RavensFanMania

      RavensFanMania

in my judgement we have been rebuilding since we won the sb. The pieces are just all not in place.

  8. Looks like Colts are going to part ways with Chuck Pagano. How amazing would it be if we got Chucky back for DC?!

      jazz1988

I don't think he's coming I expect for him to have another head coach job just like Rex Ryan

    2. DomMcRaven

      DomMcRaven

^But from what I heard, this is his last coaching job. Whether if it's head coaching or coaching at all remains to be seen.

    3. pechillo

      pechillo

well thanks for ruining my hopes guys. A man can only hope.

  9. what i absolutely love about Strong is that he went up against some of the top corners and still thrived.

except for my man steve nelson :)

I hope MGMT has Strong in the plans and WANTS him

  10. Deon Bush is going to be a solid pick for a late round

    1. RaineV1

      RaineV1

I'd love to have him here. He's a pretty good enforcer and is great at causing fumbles.

    2. pechillo

      pechillo

definitely. also would love Karl Joseph. We really need a playmaker in Baltimore's secondary.

    3. leviravenshaw

      leviravenshaw

John Harbaugh lost this game peeps...1st quarter...going for it on 4th and 1 with Schaub at QB? What was he thinking. Just when you think it can't possibly get any worse!

  11. who would you take? Q. Rollins or J. Shaw? One should be a raven. Rollins has more upside than Shaw i think. But Shaw is a great press man.

    1. Mt. Crushmore

      Mt. Crushmore

Rollins. Both could end up moving to S though

    2. pechillo

      pechillo

I don't see why not take both? haha one could play CB the other play S. Shaw is more comfortable at CB though and Rollins could easily develop into a safety.

    3. PurpleCity5
  12. Ravens made Haloti a GREAT offer apparently

      Stephenjr

where are you getting your source?

    2. rmcjacket23

      rmcjacket23

check out Ed Werder Stephen, there's plenty of sites that have reported that already.

    3. pechillo

      pechillo

yeah I've been reading it around @rmcjacket23 @Stephenjr

  13. the toughest part about picking defensive backs is the fact that it takes them a while to develop in the NFL. Pro ready DB's are tough to come by. Peters and Darby were the lucky 2 last year.

    1. PurpleSnowman

      PurpleSnowman

Peters actually graded poorly by PFF. He had a lot of picks, but he also gave up the most touchdowns if I remember correctly.

    3. BmoreBird22

      BmoreBird22

There are just certain qualities I have, the biggest being can the play off man coverage and display route recognition in doing so. Think Desmond Trufant.

  14. Titans want to get back into top 10 and if Tunsil gets past the Chargers, Ravens could possibly trade back with Titans and get an additional 2nd rounder.

    1. TDubbs

      TDubbs

In that position I'd prefer us to take Tunsil, our franchise will be better off imo. It's always nice in theory to get another 2nd round pick, but what does that player become? Is he a Torrey Smith, Upshaw, Osemele or does he become a Sergio Kindle, Terrence Cody? Give me the day 1 franchise LT over extra picks.

    2. Deflated Football

      Deflated Football

I'd be pissed if Tunsil was there at six and we traded out.

    3. pechillo

      pechillo

look back when it was eric fisher and jake matthews for the no. 1 pick, both graded out to be day 1 starters and franchise players, but they haven't done anything. A lot of tackles in the first round are overhyped beyond measure and the ravens know that, thats why and how they find talent in the later rounds. Not to mention, ravens gave monroe a nice contract, so that man is gonna work for it no matter how bad he doesn't want to play.

  15. whether it be Rollins or J. Shaw one of them *OR BOTH* need to be in the purple and black

    1. pechillo

      pechillo

jk bout the both part unless one falls to 3rd day

    2. xxDarby

      xxDarby

Rollins can flat out play. I'd love him in the 2nd

    3. pechillo

      pechillo

but Shaw would have been a top 3 CB in the draft and he hit 26 reps and then a 4.44 time is just absolutely filthy

  16. Eric Striker a gem? thoughts?

    1. hn68wb4

      hn68wb4

Doubt it...he doesn't fit any position well and doesn't have good enough strength to be an OLB in the 3-4 in the NFL. His athleticism may be able to carry him into a spot as a 4-3 OLB but I don't think he'll every have a large role in any defense.

    2. pechillo

      pechillo

wasn't the same said for Elvis Dumervil though? Sure he's small, but remember, the lower man wins when pass rushing. I think if he does build up more strength on his frame, then he could be a solid pass rusher. He definitely has the motor for it.

    3. hn68wb4

      hn68wb4

Doom was short, not small. Striker is just plain tiny. At the combine Doom showed tons of strength at the bench press and respectable speed, only his height cost him. Striker on tape is just weak, there's no way he can play DE/OLB in the NFL, he just doesn't have the strength to beat NFL caliber Olineman, he'll have to stand up at ILB or OLB.

  17. so much for going 8-0 this half -__-

    1. BmoreBird22

      BmoreBird22

Maybe they're dyslexic and meant 0-8

    2. pechillo

      pechillo

      lol sounds more likely

  18. listen if we're not getting into the playoffs, lets just get the #1 pick

    1. hn68wb4
    2. pechillo

      pechillo

lol how awesome would trading back to #5 and getting more picks!

  19. we knew Breshad would be a penny stock investment, just stay patient and hope we don't lose in this investment

      Drew P

      Damn, he looks old

    2. stampedehero

      stampedehero

I hope MGMT does not do stupid and give him a bonus.

  20. iffy pick selection. Love the athleticism, but the hands are scaring me. Hopefully, he can develop those hands and become an absolute freak like Josh Gordon

    1. stampedehero

      stampedehero

He may be the third great #81

    2. pechillo

      pechillo

hahaha right? i was thinking that too

  21. Another late round pick: Sean Davis/ Will Likely. Davis is more so the sure tackler and coverage guy. Will Likely is more so the playmaker, he'll try to make plays from anywhere on the field which lead to picks but also sloppy coverage at times.

    1. pechillo

      pechillo

still think we should get Karl Joseph no matter what. He's a playmaker flat out. I think he could've definitely been best safety this draft class if he didn't get injured.

    2. pechillo

      pechillo

Deon Bush is also an animal at tackling reminds me of Dawkins.

  22. favorite pick was Za'Darius Smith had him in a lot of my mock drafts, if he could get that motor that Suggs has. He could be unstoppable.

    1. RavensFanMania

I'm looking forward to watch him fill McPhee's big shoes

It's the usual. Remember when Heap & Mason went?

    2. pechillo

      pechillo

yeah but for some reason this feels worse. Rice's situation really screwed us up financially

  24. How much would it take to move up to #3??

    1. pechillo

      pechillo

not saying its going to happen, but just wondering

    2. hn68wb4

      hn68wb4

More than it's worth, moving up into the top 5 is stupid expensive.

  25. I really wouldn't mind having Shane Ray in purple and black.

      NebraskaRavensFan44

Maybe, but not with our first pick.
