  1. Andre Johnson or Kenny Britt to the Ravens, I think one will likely happen. Britt rather than Johnson. for $$$ reasons

    1. pechillo

      pechillo

^agreed. I think he'd be a great addition to the team, but he's going to ask for too much and he's going to ask for the ball too much. I think a role WR is better than looking for a #1. I think we have our #1 with Steve Smith. He had an incredible year last year to start off. Slowed down a little bit towards the end, but still very productive. I would like Britt.

    2. ravensdfan

      ravensdfan

We have plenty of role WRs on the roster now. We do need a #1 guy - big, physical guy that will make contested catches and can actually get separation. Smith Sr is great for his age, but not a true #1 any longer.

      I should've clarified, but yeah i agree.

  2. I just wanna squash the whole TJ Yeldon to the Ravens scenario. He peaked his junior year. He has no more room for developing.

@rmcjacket23 I actually do. If TJ Yeldon is a quality start. By quality I mean getting over 1200 yards within his first 3 seasons. I will personally give you my address and you can come slap me in the face. If he is not, then you change your username to "Iwaswrong23" deal?

  3. Think we resign Torrey and let Forsett walk.

    1. juanman7

      juanman7

I think Daniels, Forsett, and Torrey all walk, and we get an FA WR and Draft WR and FA TE and draft RB

    2. ravensdfan

      ravensdfan

Think we do it the other way around, only because Forsett will probably come at a more reasonable price tag. Totally possible they both walk.

    3. pechillo

      pechillo

Torrey isn't the type of player that wants money over a winning team. I think he truly loves Baltimore especially since he was drafted here, went to Maryland, grew up in VA, and his son was born there. He's like T Sizzle in my opinion. He cares about winning and sentimental value to his team. Just my opinion.

  5. Trade back to get Perriman? Thoughts?

    1. pechillo

      pechillo

@BmoreBird22 I agree he's pretty inconsistent with his hands but so was Torrey and he developed. When it comes to types of WR's we already have an Algholor and Smith in Torrey. If we don't sign him back then I can see us getting one of them two, but if we sign back Torrey we would probably look for a big bodied tough to take down bulldozer as a receiver and I think Perriman fits that mold.

    2. BmoreBird22

      BmoreBird22

I don't think Torrey Smith is back to be honest, but I personally don't like Perriman too much just because of the hands. It's something very worrisome coming out of college because it's a lot tougher to make contested catches in the NFL. He's a really physical specimen and could turn out to be a really great receiver, but those hands scare me.

    3. PurpleCity5

      PurpleCity5

I wouldn't mind if we picked him there. Though I don't think F.O would trade back for Perriman, I think F.O would trade back for someone who's falling like Shane Ray or maybe Nate Orchard.

  7. JUST A PREDICTION: Ravens find a RB in the 2nd Rd and will be elite after rookie season.

"All Im saying is without Q, Pitta, and Jacoby in the playoffs, Flacco wouldn't have done as well."

Well, yeah, obviously, but that's true for absolutely every QB who has ever played at any level.

      ---

"All Im saying is without Edelman, Gronk, and Vereen in the playoffs, Brady wouldn't have done as well" ...See? You can substitute any team's #1 WR, #1 TE, #3 WR and QB and that statement is still just as true. And it wasn't just losing Q, Jaco...

  10. Josh Shaw looked absolutely incredible at the combine. He's flying under the radar but he has 1st round talent.

    1. BmoreBird22

Ya know @Dubs I didn't watch the Senior Bowl and I did hear that he struggled, but in the Ravens' Article earlier. It said that Josh Shaw actually impressed the Horitz.

Green-Beckham will be taken by somebody in the 1st, he's too much of a freak to pass up.

    2. pechillo

      pechillo

he's definitely a freak but so was tyrann mathieu and ray ray armstrong. I think either Marcus Peters or Green-Beckham will go in the 2nd. other will go in the 1st, but the whole background off field issues are a problem for every team. Even if their interview process goes well. Green-Beckham was also involved with domestic violence and thats a very sensitive subject in the league right now. So we'll see, I could be completely wrong haha the draft is crazy man

      Ravenslifer

You keep talking about prospects that are not likely to be the best player available at either the first or second round pick, so expecting one of them to be the pick is very unrealistic. I don't know why you keep trying to force a CB in the first round, because based on the talent pool it's very unlikely.

    3. Ravenslifer

      Ravenslifer

I suggest you do yourself a favor and actually look at years' past in terms of who we interviewed and who we ended up drafting - the lists were very different. A little effort and you'd know this.

    4. pechillo

      pechillo

I think you're the one missing the point. You actually act like you're Ozzie and you're really not. Harbaugh even said that Cornerback is a position they will address. we are one cornerback and one wr away from winning the super bowl. Things change when you're that close. Ozzie will obviously go BPA. Most likely the top corners will be gone by 26. So he'll most likely trade back. But when you're one corner away from winning the super bowl. You will get a cornerback to...

  13. Tomorrow we will see who the Ravens will meet with DB wise. Who do you want them to meet with? Keep in mind. Out of all the meetings they have, they tend to only draft about 2 of them in high rounds. I think DB is definitely an area they will draft high this year. Keep an eye out on who they visit with.

Gordon is Overrated I like Abdullah from Nebraska and Duke Johnson

    2. pechillo

      pechillo

Ya know i really don't think he's overrated i think he has a lot of talent more talent than trent richardson and he went #3 overall. I think he's on par with Leveon Bell, but better because of how explosive he is. Bell might be quicker but Gordon is more explosive.

    3. BmoreBird22

      BmoreBird22

Gordon isn't the receiving threat that Bell is and he had an amazing offensive line in college. Very violent, tough runner who has good open field moves and a nasty spin move, but possibly overrated.

      long term left tackle?

    2. pechillo

      pechillo

@CalvinSmoke i think we already have our long term tackles. Monroe is a top tackle in the league and Wagner was rated the best RT in the league last year. Don't see why we would think about interviewing a high caliber OT if anything it might be to talk about his teammate Jalen Collins

    1. TDubbs

Wow, really @juanman7 ... thats a shocker, didn't think that was possible.

    2. pechillo

      pechillo

@juanman7 no way they will get McCourty, way too much money. You gotta remember that the Ravens are a defensive team, and will be for years to come, they will not draft 4 offensive players in the first four, thats just not going to happen, they will definitely draft a CB in the first 3 to replace Webb because his body is just breaking down slowly. He can't stay healthy.

    3. juanman7

      juanman7

@pechillo, having thought about it, I agree they won't spend big money to sign McCourty because there's always the risk that he won't play up to that contract that another team will definitely give him. However, I do think we could go heavy on offense this year, because like I said and people agree with this, this team cannot rely on rookies in the secondary. This is a weak safety class on top of this. So though they might get a cornerback in the first 3 rounds, I think every othe...

  18. who would you take? Q. Rollins or J. Shaw? One should be a raven. Rollins has more upside than Shaw i think. But Shaw is a great press man.

Rollins. Both could end up moving to S though

    2. pechillo

I don't see why not take both? haha one could play CB the other play S. Shaw is more comfortable at CB though and Rollins could easily develop into a safety.

      pechillo

why do you think Suggs was drafted? He broke the NCAA single season sack record and led the nation in sacks. He was drafted 22 overall. Orchard led the nation in sacks and is more of a solidified run stopper than sizzle was in college. All I'm saying is he's a late first round talent. The combine will show it, and if he hits 25 reps or more on the bench. He's the real deal. along with his 40 time.

    3. JoeyFlex5

      JoeyFlex5

suggs was drafted 10th overall and he was projected to go much earlier than that before his 40 time turned some teams off.

    4. JoeyFlex5

      JoeyFlex5

sizzle was probably the best DE in college football and the best pro prospect at DE all combined that year, he was a slam dunk pick, but some of those early teams probably wanted more "flash" from a top 10 pick(meaning a faster 40 time)

  20. Ravens will go Defense first round.

    1. ravensdfan

      ravensdfan

I could argue we aren't the champs this year because we lack a big, physical WR.

    2. JoeyFlex5

      JoeyFlex5

^^ definitely, but most importantly, because we dont have those guys who are always gonna catch the ball, if daniels doesnt drop that perfectly placed ball, were probably celebrating at least an afc championship title

    3. pechillo

      pechillo

@JoeyFlex5 i think he'll get best player available and i think the most underrated player in this draft is Nate Orchard. After his combine he should be a late first rounder. And Ravens love pass rushers especially ones that have led the nation in sacks **T Sizzle** I really think we already have a good WR group. Torrey is our deep threat, Steve Smith is strong and physical, Marlon Brown can go up and snag balls, Owen Daniels and Dennis Pitta have great chemistry with Joe. I like our WR's

    1. YYZ66

RB's will rarely go in the first round since Goodell has made the NFL a passing league

    2. Inqui
