idk Joey, i like to trust Mike Mayock cuz he's gotten our pick right consecutively for the past couple years. I still think we take Strong. Peters has an attitude.

wow. its unanimous haha. So Ozzie isn't picking peters. hahaha he never drafts the player we all think he'll draft

  3. Jaelen Strong. Quinten Rollins. Markus Golden. 4th Rd (Nick O'Leary, Josh Shaw, Stefon Diggs)

Touissant wasn't bad at all either. Forsett will definitely be top 5 back this upcoming year behind our monstrous linemen.

i honestly don't think we need a RB in the first three or four rounds cuz forsett and taliaferro remind me of Rice and Ricky Williams. I think we'd be fine at RB. We could always get a RB next year like Elliot from OSU or Keith Marshall from Georgia. He was a beast up until Gurley came along, i think he got injured last year though. But either way they're both really good RB's.

Ray has a great first step. And he can read run/pass really quick as well. Both good football players. Golden would be a steal to any team though.

I meant in the sense that Upshaw dropped out of the first round when he was considered at one point to be a top 5 pick. Same thing happened to Golden but he feel deep into the mid rounds.

literally all of them *besides O'Leary probably* could or have been considered first rd picks. Boy this would be a dream come true. Rollins could transition over to Safety while Shaw becomes our outside corner and Webb moves to nickel. Strong would be #1 receiver and Diggs would be #3 WR and returner. Golden would be like Upshaw (who dropped out of the first round as well) and O'Leary would be our Dennis Pitta.

  10. don't get me wrong love how we go defensive in the draft cuz i play on defense and very prideful about it, but when it comes to the team, we really gotta focus on giving Joe weapons. CB and Pass rusher is not a need. Thats not me saying we'll draft a day 2 prospect in the first round, but that trading back could make more sense for our needs.

For depth sure but not for an immediate start. We have Doom, Suggs, and Upshaw is developing into a pass rusher. And CB we have two beast CB's Smith and Webb. And Asa was becoming a good 3rd string CB.

  11. isn't it time to not be known for just defense? don't get me wrong Ravens defense is essentially the only old school and real football played anymore but I'm tired of Pats and Broncos etc. to be considered shoe-ins for the super bowl based off of QB and offense. Lets balance our defense with offense. aka Ozzie please draft a WR *not Devin Smith* and a TE

I do really like Darius Davis as well. Check him out. probably the most underrated prospect in the draft. He can do damage in the league with right coaching.

i definitely see Strong as a Boldin. Boldin played the slot occasionally as well. He destroyed the patriots in the slot in 2012. Boldin doesn't get much separation he out jumps and out bodies the defender and Strong has a 42" vert and is huge for a WR haha.

well @ravensnick I think this RB class is very very deep. One of those drafts where you find that Alfred Morris in the late rounds. It's got that potential honestly. Josh Robinson and Cameron Artis-Payne could have both went in the 2nd-3rd round last year but will likely go in the 5th or so.

don't get me wrong walterfootball is very very bad haha but that was a interesting mock draft, i might have over stepped on saying it was my favorite, but man those offensive weapons would be really useful

maybe one TE and one Safety. But I say two TE's cuz we did that with Pitta and Dickson and we kept one of them who turned out to be really good.

  21. Would the Ravens trade up for a receiver? if so, who?

    1. pechillo

      pechillo

I just really think Strong is our best option when it comes to a receiver in our vicinity of the draft, and i think other teams value his athleticism as much as the ravens do. If we can't get Strong in the first, we trade back and get more picks. More picks allow us to move up in the draft by trading as well. trading up in mid rounds would be awesome as well.

i think we could trade up to 19. One pick before Eagles at 20 who need a WR after Maclin left.

Yeah Gresham is simply an older version of crockett gilmore. both blocking TE's but i do like Crockett more than Jermaine. And I think Ravens have to get Jaelen Strong no matter what.

@TDubbs just because he has the size doesn't mean he has more potential, not every player in college has potential. You can tell by which ones do and which ones don't. Its tough to explain but its out there.
