i know its weird to see two injured collegiate players picked so early, but the potential both Williams and Karl Joseph have is ridiculous, both would've been first round picks before the injuries.

jazz1988 If you really watch, Brady, Aaron Rodgers, Drew Brees even back to Dan Marino they all have turned their decent WR corps to an above average WR group. If Edelman or Brandon LaFell or Marques Colston or Randall Cobb were to play for other QB's that are decent, they wouldn't put up the numbers that they had. Just look at Greg Jennings or James Jones, same situation. James Jones is doing pretty good right now because of Rodgers.

lol its the truth. How many times this year did he throw a pick when we had the chance to win or tie? "can't win us games" he's not clutch. a damn good QB could take chicken [crap] and turn it into chicken salad. Sure we haven't had a great WR corps but you're a QB that's supposed to play like an elite QB. And he didn't. He's always been inconsistent don't lie to yourselves.

lol I'm sorry but Flacco cannot win us games. Flat out. the numerous times he throws into double and even triple coverage is insane. He's not smart. He throws to one side of the field most the time (the right). And he can't do well unless he has outstanding talent around him. If he does come back it's not like he'll be better than before. It's only going downhill from here. Draft a QB early.

But I would trade back if both of them don't go to us.

well i definitely think we need a FS if our young guys can't break out of their potential, with secondary it takes time. I also think Flacco needs weapons if he wants to be successful. I always hate on Flacco but thats mainly because the receivers we have other than Steve Smith are not the types of receivers that make QB's look good. Those receivers are Anquan Boldin, Torrey Smith, Derrick Mason, even players like Josh Gordon or Brandon Marshall make QB's look good because of the...

I mean maybe not early but definitely in the mid rounds they could snag a small school QB with talent and potential but it would definitely make sense because next year flacco is getting paid way too much for his performance this year.

lol we won the super bowl three seasons ago because of our awesome defense and because flaccos weapons made him look really good.

he's the best press CB in the draft in my opinion.

i have AZ taking Gurley also. And I think someone like the Chargers will trade up after their first pick to draft Gordon before we are on the clock. I like Coleman and Johnson but not Yeldon, i think Yeldon is maxed out at potential.

i still think we could get Artis-Payne or Josh Robinson in the 5th rd though. They're very good backs with potential.

i just see so much of Anquan Boldin in Jaelen Strong. Strong's vertical and power to go up and snatch a ball is similar to Boldin's. And Flacco and Boldin had GREAT chemistry with each other. I think WR at 26 and then one more in the 4th. We've done that before and it makes sense honestly. Unless Perriman is available then I think he could be our Julio Jones kind of, but that's a different topic. I still think Strong and Flacco will be a great tag team in the air.
