  1. But speaking of Bond, who is everybody's favorite bond? You guys like the OG Connery, the funny man Moore, the Sharp Pierce, the dangerous Craig?

I've always been a fan of Moore. Not the suavest of guys. But for my money, it doesn't get much better than Octopussy. Lazenby and Dalton were the worst.

Roger Moore! end of discussion! lol!

  2. Awesome! Now I dont need to see the movie. Thanks Mili!!!! :eyes:

my bad Nurp. got a lil' excited. still go see it cause it's good!

    Yeah, watch the spoilers, man!

    my deepest apologies.

you could have just said the bit about his sons. But I think that last scene was there for a reason. I don't want to say anything but i think its over.

They could have ended it where you were talking about but that extra scene to me meant more than it looked.

But they have left it open. They've closed no doors I'll agree there, but I think they are done

i think there may be another one.

  3. what was that? I thought the end showed its finished.

near the end of the movie when the guys said; "If I kill you, will your sons come after me?" and the guy said; "Yeah!" and then he said; "Then I'll kill them all!" everyone in the theatre said the exact same thing that there may be a Taken 3 based off of that simple line.

  4. i like how Ryback bounces in the ring and bobs his head to the music and flings his arms and says...

    "Feed - Me - More!"

    "Feed - Me - More!"

    "Feed - Me - More!"

he makes you forget that he was briefly apart of Nexus. and the women with Brodus Clay are some fine black women! daaaaamn! lol!

  5. Yeah, I saw the SD spoilers and even SD looks bad. At this stage it seems all the re-writing the WWE has done before Raw is finally catching up to them. After weeks of re-writing Raw, it seems it has finally caught up to the WWE and we are now seeing crappy Raw shows. Luckily for us, there was a report that Vince is getting tired of all the re-writes(ironically he is the one calling for the re-writes in the first place) so that must put the writers on notice I would assume. I mean if the boss is tired of re-writing your scripts, then you know he'll be looking to potentially replace them. I have said it for a while, they need new writers and I hope that we start seeing them firing their writers and looking for new ones.

i agree! i just hate how these writers are soooo predictable and the content is just assanine! i miss the old days when Triple H, The Rock, Stone Cold, DX and the rest of the "old-school" wrestlers and their story lines ruled the WWE! this junk that i am seeing now is just pure trash! smh!

  6. You'll see it when the payoff comes. That payoff could be as early as tonight or as late as WrestleMania, but it'll come.

The easiest way to explain it is that he's trying to turn heel by getting people to hate him by overstaying his welcome. People have wanted him back for so long but he's purposely not giving them exactly what they want. It's like he's taking the traditional way of turning face/heel and turning it on its head.

For right now, though, it looks like even the casual fans in attendance are starting to understand what he's doing and are actually cheering for him because of it, instead of booing him like he wants.

ok..i've been a serious wrestling fan for years. i may not be as "technical" with all of the inner workings or behind the scene info like most here but i know wrestling. lol! i am glad that you are helping me to understand this concept of Jericho's return but here is what has lost me in your post here Franchise:

wasn't Jericho "already" a heel when we saw him last? i think so! so i don't get the purpose of the "turning heel" thing by just coming out and saying nothing for weeks. it is flat out boring and redundant to me. no excitement in it at all! a total waste of time imo. help me out here. lol!

  7. ok...will someone please explain to me why Jericho has been coming out for weeks and saying nothing....then when he does...he only says a few words? i don't get it! smh!

some of you wrestling gurus that are extremely technical with it (lol) say that it is great or brilliant. i don't see it that way. it is pure idiotic to me. but, i am open to someone, anyone explain the purpose of this because i know there is one. thanks!

  8. That Cena-Kane feud draws direct inspiration from The Dark Knight -- think Joker's mission to corrupt Batman. Kane wants Cena to embrace the hate just like Joker wanted Batman to break his one rule since Joker believed that they're both the same. Kane wants Cena to become an even better version of himself by letting go of his "weakness" (the fans' adoration) so that he can fulfill his destructive potential.

    gotcha!!

    Dance Off!

    Brodus Clay vs Rikishi

    Who Wins??

Sorry but upon further review I believe they are trying to combine Rikishi's gimmick and The Godfather's Gimmick into one with Clay here with a sprinkle of 2 Cold Scorpio.

this gimmick doesn't fit this dude. smh!

I didn't even see the entrance of Brodus Clay until I just watched it on YouTube.

I cannot believe this is the gimmick they are giving this man. sleep.png

it's pathetic! a pimp-like character dancing to funk music? SMH!!

and R-Truth's lil' jimmy routine and "craziness" is played out. as a black man myself...i want to see him be more fierce and serious like Booker-T was back in the day so that he can be considered as a "real" and "credible" contender for a title! i really hate this stereo-typing bafoonery. just my take!

  9. I, too, was a little disappointed and confused by his silence last week until I watched the segment again and put it all together.

Basically, long story short, if you keep in mind that he's doing all of this to get the crowd to boo him, his silence is much more entertaining. I literally LOL'ed when he started crying and hamming it up.

i agree! you have explained it very well. i noticed him hamming it up as well and motioning to the crowd on both sides of the ring to cheer and they did...then i knew he wasn't going to say anything and then just walk out. but, as you have explained...i see what's happening now. lol!

    BUT....

i am still lost on the Kane and Cena angle. what's that?

  10. This is part of Jericho's heel turn. He's turning back into the egomaniac gimmick he had in WCW but on a much larger scale, with a little bit of the "Best in the World at What I Do" gimmick during his most recent run.

You're supposed to be irritated with him. That's the point. He knows that people will cheer everything he does, so he has to do as much as he can to annoy the crowd to get them to hate him. This is setting up his match with Punk later.

oh i see!! i figured that he was coming as a heel...nothing new with him there. but, i forgot all about his "Best in the World at What I Do" gimmick from back in the day. lol! now, Punk has that "Best in the World" deal working and so they will have to clash.
