  2. i'm re-watching Blade II. it's been a long time since i seen this movie and i forgot how smooth Snipes was in this flick! awesome! ~Mili
  3. i love that new championship belt that Rock revealed. ~Mili
  4. i recorded Monday Night Raw and as i am watching it i must say that i absolutely loved how the Big Show duct taped Del Rio and then ran through Rodriguez. lol! ~Mili
  5. why? was it the black man kissing a white woman aspect? hollywood doesn't mind how audiences react to white men kissing black women (i.e. Monsters Ball - Billy Bob Thornton and Halle Berry etc.). ~Mili
  6. i would. i do however agree that everyone (regardless of their ethnicity) should be given the opportunity to play a role that was scripted for them. and the nervous about kissing scenes thing? i don't by that one bit. lol! ~Mili
  7. again i definitely agree! you know that! lol! but, not only do i pay attention to the lack of black leading actors being romantic with white leading actresses in movies...but i also notice the lack of black leading women to pair them with. many of our leading ladies such as; Halle, Zoe Saldana and even Kerry Washington (tv show Scandal) to name a few....are always paired with white men. so i definitely understand what you are saying. imo, Django is something different though! ~Mili
  8. i understand your point completely! however, this is where we as black people must continue to teach and instruct our children (in our homes, with our families) about the realities and atrocities of racism, bigotry and slavery! we can't leave that up to film makers...black or white. Spike spoke out against this movie and yet...he NEVER attempted to speak to the issue of slavery in this manner and made millions off the use of the N word earlier on in his career. sure, there were a few parts in Django that as a black man....gave me mixed feelings but over all...my wife and i enjoyed it and encouraged our grown children to go see it as well. ~Mili
  9. exactly! ~Mili
  10. exactly! sure, as a black man, there were some portions of the movie that were very sobering for me however, the use of the "N" word in that setting, that time and era in history was quite appropriate. i've seen movies recently that use the "N" word and it had absolutely NOTHING to do with the scene cause black people weren't even in the movie. go figure! it was a very good movie imo. ~Mili
  11. my grown daughter, son & daughter-in-law wouldn't have that cause you'd be tapping into their inheritance. ~Mili
  12. my friend has a Denali. now....that is a very sweet ride. the Escalade? uhh...initially i wanted that EXT but i decided to rock that Lincoln Navigator instead. glad i did! the ESV is very nice though. like you, i'll be making a pick up myself in 6 months. my wife talked me into grabbing that S500 Benz as a birthday gift. she didn't have to tell me twice. LOL! ~Mili
  13. they are very nice! you need to swing by a dealership and take a peek. ~Mili
  14. it's crazy man! in a good way! no speed limits. i could really get the full use of my BMW, Mercedes and Jaguars engines. and believe it or not...they don't have that many accidents over there like we do here with 55, 60 & 70 speed limits. unreal! that's it right there! it is all about one's preference. i never got into the truck or jeep thing. not my style! but i could roll that Suburban w/24's on it. ~Mili
  15. you guys are funny! but hey! i like the BMW to now! ~Mili
  16. when i was stationed in Germany back in the day (way back...lol) it was NOTHING to see a BMW and a Porsche racing on the autobahn. it was the craziest thing that i'd ever seen at the time. but it occurred almost daily. back then i rocked a 5 series BMW and then eventually i upgraded to my 7 series BMW. i believe that the highest i ever had my BMW's go was 120-130 mph on the autobahn. it was like floating in air! but...you better not try that here in the states! ~Mili
  17. my wife loves this ride! lol! ~Mili
  18. i definitely agree! that pic is very nasty! ~Mili
  19. i know that! it's all good! sweet CJ5. not to me! over the years living in Germany (where both the Mercedes and BMW's are made) i've owned numerous Mercedes, BMW's and Jaguars and the Mercedes is the best imo! now, i'm more of a "stylin' & profiln'" type of cat so that is why the Benz is my choice. but as far as the performance of the BMW..i must agree that it is king of the road! it's more muscle which seems to be your style. lol! but...imo, here in the states....with speed limits....it is a waste of time. in Germany on the autobahn however.....opener up!!! LOL!! ~Mili
  20. you would have never guessed what? lol! lol! i had to neg both dizzle and 1/28/01 on their tint comments. our 20s and 24s are enough to set the mercedes and navigator. off properly! tint is not necessary! ~Mili
  21. we were at the mall chilling the other day so here are pictures of my wife's Mercedes Benz w/20's and my Navigator w/24's next to it. ~Mili
  22. it was great! Di Caprio's character wasn't that bad but it was a typical representation of that day, time and era. good movie! ~Mili
  23. my wife and i went to watch Django yesterday! ~Mili
  24. i actually stumbled on Revolution by accident as a was scrolling through the channels so i decided to watch it on FIOS demand. wow! i absolutely love it! i'm all caught up now and look forward to the next episode. ~Mili
  25. wow! what an interesting turn of events. the bond that i knew back in the day definitely wouldn't be going that way. my...have things changed! ~Mili
