This team is cursed
I'd be astounded if we won fewer than 6 games or more than 11, but any record in between seems equally reasonable to me haha. Until we see some of these new guys in action and see how the injuries are healing, it's tough to gauge.
A resounding meh
I need a drink
With 5 4ths and a 5th, we better trade up from 3 or I'll have a stroke
Just now, Grapple Raven said:Lol, I thought that too, reminds me of the dude with the girl in front of the train!
He looks like the Virginia Cavalier
I've never been so disappointed in getting a potential pro bowler ever. lol.

I'd be furious
If we trade back to 15 and only get one 2nd round pick, I will lose my mind

For what it's worth, this time last year Rapaport was swearing that the Saint were going to pick Bryce Petty early, and has a pretty 50/50 record with being right the last couple of years.
All this Jack stuff leaking out seems irrelevant to me. It's very close to the draft and a team later on probably wants him to drop, but I trust our team doctors. If they clear him or not I don't think it's going to be because they found out about his knee from a report 4.5 days before the draft

I think he means it'll be interesting to see how the Browns screw this up, despite it looking like a good move, because they can't have nice things. I personally believe this means whichever QB they didn't want will now be amazing haha
As an interesting exercise, people should take a look at WF's roundup of rumors from last year. Some of the stuff is spot on (especially right before the draft) and other stuff never happened, and still more after that was total nonsense. For those interested.
Love that two of our away games are just in New Jersey. Then a bye week. Niiiiiice.

- Victor Ochi is very similar to James Harrison with the same leverage and rip move. Has a lot of power in his game too.
- James Cowser broke the FCS sack record set by Jared Allen but this game is the only real tape I've seen, his physical talent is average, fast but not a power player. His best traits are instincts and awareness, he protects his gap and makes fast reads.
- DL David Onyamata, never heard of him before but he stood out. Physically he looks like a Nkemdichi clone with an identical build and similar movement skills, he lined up at DT and RE and noone could handle his speed and power.
OLB Tyrone Holmes, another guy I've never seen before who stood out by constantly abusing his tackle. Incredible get off and lots of power flattening the curve. 6'4" 250 but looks and plays bigger.
I like this guy a lot. Glad he's getting buzz.

I won't let the silly talk about the end of his season deter me. The boy is a machine and will be a perfect fit and make a MASSIVE improvement to our defense the day he steps on the field
I honestly think my favorite thing about Hargreaves might be his attitude. His interviews are great.
I love how the middle of our defense would look with Jack, Mosley, and Weddle, that's for sure.
I also look at the last two years where we went bargain-bin shopping for safeties and picked up Stewart and Lewis and neither panned out how we hoped, really. I think Weddle is easily worth a shot.
I honestly wouldn't be surprised if we saw a similar situation to Steve Smith here, in which an older player had a souring relationship with his previous team and was seeing a dip in production comes in and finds some newfound energy playing for our organization. I'm excited.

I assume he was just talking about people we drafted
Worth noting that Spence's 10-yard was 1.62, which was as fast as, say, Travis Feeney (who ran a 4.5 40). And only .02 off from what Leonard Floyd ran 10 yards in.
Not to make a comparison as a player necessarily, but just for the fun of size comparisons: Von Miller measured 6'3"/246. 33 1/2" arms. 9 1/4" hands.
ProFootballFocus did a great summation of Ramsey's skills, weaknesses, and fit in the NFL today. Worth checking out for sure:
I don't think Spence falls into the second in any world unless his interviews are just horrendous.
A fun thing to do is go back and search for mocks from last year in January and see what the top 10 was looking like. A lot of sure things, i.e. Winston #1, but there were also a number of things that no one saw coming. Worth checking out.
