If Castillo saw success for one season under Kubiak, you'd think he would at least be smart enough to steal some of what Kubiak did.
Pretty funny!
Slow news day?
I don't think I missed any of that....
Wow, new respect for Romo. He is between a rock and a hard place. No one can expect to be injured, but also, no one expected Dak to do what he has done. I hope things work out for Romo, somewhere.
Verrry interestink! I wonder if they are looking for a punt returner that won't wave for a fair catch the instant the ball is snapped.
Cowboys fans have never had the pleasure of seeing their team beat the Ravens. Let's keep it that way.
Sooo....it's essentially a David vs. Goliath scenario.
And we know who one that one!
Cowboys have never beaten the Ravens. Our defense is ranked #1. Cowboys are averaging 30 pts. per game, but Ravens only giving up 18 ppg. If we can hold them to 20, we'll need 21 to win. Doable.
BTW, an 8-8 record will probably win our division. If that is the way it goes down, we'll need to win our division games to get the tie-breaker (if necessary). So Dallas game isn't super critical to win. But ... 8-8 will definitely not get a Wild Card berth, so we need to take the division.
Man, that sucks!

True, Dallas has an average 29 points per game this season (wow), but the Ravens' #1 defense is only allowing 18 points per game (both figures rounded). If we can hold them to 18, I think we have a good chance of winning. However, I seriously doubt we are going to score 30, since we're averaging 20 per game.
Glad we aren't chasing a wildcard (at the moment). Feels good to be in 1st place, even with a 5-4. Thanks, Dallas! Now, we'll reward you by not beating you too badly. ![]()
Suggs was amazing Thursday night. Reminded me of how he used to get after Big Ben. Hope he can sustain it.
Dallas will be real test. Glad we have extended rest. Worked out well to have a Thursday night against Cleveland, giving us extra time to rest and prep for Dallas.
A win Sunday will mean we are not a joke, and deserve our first place berth.
Browns need to figure out why their entire system is systemically broken. May end up being the first team to ever go 0-16 twice. Winning seasons are extremely rare; no Superbowls; haven't had a championship since the 1950s. And every year it's the same, they don't get any better.

IT GETS HARDER FRO HERE BUT
1. Sizzle looks like he has found the fountain of youth. He is playing inspired and his play is lifting the rest of the defense.
2. We need to continue to feed Perriman and Waller...They both looked dangerous last night and we saw glimpses of who they can be. Feed them
3. Flacco needs to get his confidence back. IDK if it is the knee... of if he is getting hit too much or a combination or what the deal is... but even when he had time.... he looks a little gun shy.
4. Dixon showed flashes... hope he continues to grow with more playing time.
5. We have some budding stars on this team (Waller, Dixon, Stanley, Judon, Pierce, and Z. Smith) all seem to be poised to take their games to the next level. If we can get Perriman in the mix and KC to develop... I think it is a good nucleus of young players to add to the handful of veterans that we already possess (BWilliams, CJ, Jimmy, Suggs, Yanda, Doom, Wagner, Tucker, Weddle, SSS and Wallace)
Well said. I would add that we really need a consistent, dependable, well-coached offensive line.
Very cool moment! I hope he does it again at the Superbowl!
(Okay, I can dream, can't I?) :)

Really did seem to be a judgment call. Glad they didn't overturn it. Perriman needs some confidence boost.
We have had some truly passionate players, and it is always so clear how much they love being a Raven and love Baltimore. Suggs' comments were appreciated. "Raven in my DNA." :)
I'll believe we've turned a corner if we beat Dallas next week. So far, our "tremendous games" have been against failing teams. Getting a win against the 7-1 Cowboys, even if it's only by 1 point, will go a long way!
Agreed. If we beat Dallas but lose to Cincy, I won't panic. But if we lose both, then last night was a fluke.
So, let me ask everyone for his/her honest opinion, not just a fanboy/girl opinion :)
Was the Perriman touchdown legit?
My 3 thoughts...
1. It's about time the offense decided to join the party
2. This defense is scary good...championship level good
3. Tavon Young is the real deal (he completely erased Corey Coleman)Great points. Agree 1000%. This team is SOOOO different with Wright out and Tavon at the # 2 corner. Tavon and Pierce are 2 massive surprising difference makers for this team! We are Nasty! Dixon and Perriman joining the party changes the O big time as well
AGREED!!!!
An I allowed to do a +2, or is that too AOL? :)
Several of my friends and family are picking a Browns upset, which really has me nervous!

The dropped passes, the fumbles, the stupid penalties(at the worst times that kill drives), the pee poor running game and the god-awful coaching decisions by Harbaugh(your team can't score..take the damn points)! So no, it ain't all on Joe.
Agreed. Which brings us back to the controversy in which Harbaugh fired all the alpha males in the wake of Ray Lewis' departure. We notably lost Lewis, Reed, Pollard, Boldin, etc. People have often asked the question: "Who are the leaders in the Ravens' locker room?" But it isn't really that we lack leaders. It's more like we lack people with overwhelming drive and emotionalism. SSS is the only one on the team right now, IMO.

Good point. Makes you wonder if all the money spent on QBs and RBs ought to be spent on the OL. Ravens' major fallacy is having a $120 million QB and not protecting him or giving him time to throw, or having a run game.
