Last few years we ended at Cincinnati.
Running backs and receivers are great, but nothing matters if we don't have a strong OL. I would love to know what the plan is to keep Flacco protected. Otherwise, kiss this season good-bye.
Really can't wait for the draft to be over. All the speculation hurts my brain! I'm glad I don't have Ozzie's job (although sometimes I wish I did). ;)

Yeah, 'cause Harbaugh and Kaepernick would get along so well together!

They have to plan around other sports schedules, look for travel logistics, AND simultaneously attempt (not guaranteed) to make it so that 32 NFL teams have reasonable travel schedules... all while taking into account network demands and promoting certain games in certain timeslots. They also have to manage bye weeks.
Frankly, if the average Joe Schmo attempted to do this, it would take weeks or months and it still probably wouldn't be anywhere close to being right.
Think of it this way... there's plenty of fans who whine and complain about the unfairness of EVERY teams schedule, including our own. And that's AFTER the league probably spent weeks or even months putting it together. Imagine what would happen if they shorten the amount of time put into it?
Â
Probably has a lot to do with teams that share stadiums, or parking, or have multiple franchises in one city. Fluidity in scheduling may be due to fluidity in other dependencies.
If we draft well, people will say this was a great move. If we draft poorly, then it will looked at as a mistake. So let's draft well.
Go Baltimore's birds!
Do you know that players have to file taxes in every state they play? Higher taxes on players like Oakland and soon Baltimore are another reason teams move. Ever wonder why Texas and Florida have the most teams? No state tax. Thats another reason Jacksonville and Carolina got the expansion teams and not Baltimore. I wonder do the stadium people get 15.00 an hour, sick leave, and vacation pay for working 6 months?
Hmm, Delaware ought to get a team, then.
Um, what's the plan for getting us depth at the offensive line? Looks like we can have a #1 defense, and still have Flacco backpedaling every game.

And also one of the most exciting parts of the game.
They keep talking about surrounding Flacco with the talent he needs, but where are they? At the moment, we have no O-line and a shortage of receivers. We had better have one heckuva good draft!
"The Ravens are only looking for one receiver." Huh? Do they just mean one "veteran" receiver?
With the six degrees of Kevin Bacon, don't we all have a Flacco connection?
Flacco is not a guy like Brady who elevates the play of the people around him. Flacco needs a strong OL and talented WRs. If we can get them, he will put the ball in their hands, and we will win games. If we go into the season with an OL of similar quality to last year, then Flacco will spend all his time backing up and throwing off his back foot. I can't believe the FO is unaware of that fact; however, we have not seen any indication of what the OL or receiving corps are going to look like,
Yeah, good luck with that.
I don't understand Pitta's restructure. Guy comes off a major injury where he sat out most of two seasons and collected injured pay, then comes back and has the best year of his career and leads all TEs in receptions, and gets asked to take less money?
I am happy about it in that it frees up cap room so we can get some talent at WR and OL, but I really don't get it.
Jefferson seems like a class act.
We need receivers, OL, and pass-rushers. There's no "perfect two;" we need more like a "perfect eight."
I like this move. It takes the pressure off trying to lock up Claiborne. Are we keeping Webb around as a nickleback?
BTW, I think it is foolish of the web site admins to shut down these forums. They are very active. I don't do Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, or anything of those things. So I will miss everyone's comments.
Good for him! He's going to need that money. I hope he finds a way to turn his short-lived football career into something long-term.
If it was a mistake, then why does he have to rebuild trust? Something smells fishy here.
No-brainer, but it still hurts. Here's hoping the Lions have a crappy year.
That really cleared up some questions I had. I still don't understand a lot of the fine print, like why is it better to cut someone after June 1st?
I really like Torrey Smith, but going backward is not the way forward, know what I mean?

We'd better be a shutdown defense, cause I don't see our offense scoring a whole lot of points right now. Maybe it will be like 2000 -- hold the other team to 11 points and kick four field goals to win.
