Whoa, whoa, wait a minute. While I'll agree that Trestman is not the long-term solution, and maybe he makes some bad calls, let's keep in mind that your play selection is EXTREMELY limited when your offensive line can't protect the QB. Joe was rushed, sacked, chased, and hit so many times after Wagner left the game that the options were very limited. If the line can't open holes for a run, then you can't run. If the receivers don't have time to get down the field because the QB is being chased, then you don't make deep throws. And when we did make deep throws, Perriman let one go through his hands, and then he came down out of bounds in the endzone. Firing Trestman (and I'm not saying that's a bad idea, but you better have someone better to replace him with) will not fix the lack of depth on the O-line, not will it make Perriman catch deep passes. Nor will it give Flacco time to wait for his receivers to get open.
