  1. A pleasure. Next beer's on me. Still, his record since his big payday is absolutely awful. Can that really be a coincidence? Flacco's record before his big money: 63 / 30 Flacco's record after his big money: 26 / 26
  2. Touche! Well played. It seems that every off-season, Flacco has a new kid. I love kids. Don't get me wrong. But I also know they cost you a lot of sleep, and they get sick a lot. And I can't help but think, now that Flacco has won a SB, is financially set for life, and has an MVP, what is his motivation? My wife always used to make the joke on opening day, if Flacco looked bad, "Did he have another kid?" And we would laugh, and then I would check the Internet, and say, "Yeah, he did!"
  3. I'm sorry. I thought we were here to share our opinions and have a discussion. That's why I started with "it seems to me...." Usually, that phrase indicates that an opinion is following.
  4. I would have taken Matt Birk, but I guess I'm a little late to the party (no pun intended -- well, maybe a little.)
  5. I truly hope Mike Tomlin gets his wish, and tries the Rabona in every game the rest of this season. Heck, I'll take two of them on December 25!
  6. It seems to me that Flacco's current most pressing desire is to have babies and be a family man. He has his multi-millions. He has a Superbowl win and a Superbowl MVP. His life is in no way impacted if he performs poorly. He has no hunger. He has no drive. I wish we would have kept Bryn Renner.
  7. I feel like breaking into James Taylor's "Steamroller Blues!" :) While this is a critical game for the AFC North, my guess is that to the rest of America, this is "must [not] see TV!" Hope they do away with Thursday night games after this year.
  8. So thrilled to get a win Sunday, especially against Pittsburgh. My dad's funeral was Monday morning, so I felt like that one was for him.
  9. Just to let you know, right before the broadcast, Qadry was seen drinking some purple Koolaid backstage.
  10. It is absolutely insane that with a win on Sunday, we would be in first place. What has happened to the NFL?
  11. I don't think that will help. We won a SB, then we lost Ray Lewis, Ed Reed, Bernard Pollard, KO, Ngata, Boldin, Torrey Smith, etc. We haven't replaced them with effective players. Also five OCs in five years doesn't help. Time to rebuild.
  12. These forums exist so that fans can discuss their opinions. Silly to say that someone with an opinion different than yours is a "hater." No one here hates the Ravens. Those people post to the Pittsburgh Steelers forums.
  13. So you are a superstitious person.
  14. Glad to hear it. Now we get to find out if it was the coaching, or just the inability of the players. I think we have the talent, but something is not clicking. Glad to see Harbaugh step up and try to take control. We'll see if it worked.
  15. Ravens worst record is 4-12 is their first season. I'm pulling for anything better than that, as a sign that we haven't completely regressed to Year One.
  16. Flacco's record since getting paid: 25 - 26.
  17. Wild card? I would be thrilled to squeeze a 5-11 out of this season. We have imploded, and it starts with Harbaugh and the coaching staff. I think Flacco has lost respect for the coaching staff, and there are no cheerleaders (by that I mean players) left in the locker room.
  18. I'm too depressed to even comment. How discouraging....
  19. apparently there's no such thing as improving or progressing to Ravens fans. If we win the next two, they'll jump back on the bandwagon. Fickle. :)
  20. apparently there's no such thing as improving or progressing to Ravens fans. Eh, there's a lot of trolls on this site. Wadda ya gonna do... AFC North is wide open for the taking. Squeelers without Big Ben, and really their defense wasn't all that great anyways. Bungles look to be self destructing in front of everyone's eyes. (and I'm sure there's a load of people out there who would want Burfect on the Raven's because he "plays hard"...and also plays as dirty as anyone who put on a Raiders uniform back in the 70's.) Brownies are the Brownies...so the division is there for the taking, just a matter of the Raven's getting their heads & hearts into playing winning football instead of the hesitant, penalty marred mess they've been putting out on the field so far this year. Agreed.
  21. Just means you won't be there when they turn the corner and go 13-3. Well, I mean, if they did, you'd miss it.
  22. I don't know why we didn't put in a couple of big defenders (Pierce, Jernigan, Williams) on the O-line for the QB sneak attempt.
  23. When we had that first goal line stand and failed to score on third down, we should have kicked the FG. If we had, we would only have been down by one point when we got the ball back at the end of the game. Instead of needing a touchdown, we would only have need a FG, and we were already in FG position when Flacco threw the int at the end of the game. We would have won that game.
  24. That's now two torn biceps and two Achilles for Suggs in the last four years. Love the guy, but his body may be quitting on him.
