  1. Hester just got waived. Bringing up Campanaro. Any decent cornerbacks out there, all coached up and ready to play?
  2. Patriots are extremely well coached. They take no name players and coach them up into greatness. Brady knows where every player is on that field at all times. He threads throws into ridiculous situations and lands them into the receivers' hands. Pats D outperformed us because of coaching and game-planning.
  3. 6. OMG! I started throwing stuff at my TV every time he said that, I think I counted seventeen times! 7. Did not know that Reuland passed. Very sad. So young. Can't imagine losing my children; his parents must be devastated.
  4. I feel bad for Tucker, but kicking is a team effort. A bad snap, a missed block, anything can cause a FG attempt to fail. So, while Tucker is great, the whole crew should get the credit. And there was just nothing they could have done differently on that first attempt. Good that they made it a one-time thing my changing up the snap count. I am so sick of EVERYONE IN THE WORLD knowing we need to pick up the pace in close games EXCEPT THE RAVENS! Man, it is so frustrating when you are watching the game, screaming "Go faster! Get to the line!" And then the announcers say, "They ought to be hurrying to the line." I am not starting a "Harbaugh is great/Harbaugh sucks" argument. But his clock-management is atrocious, and it never gets any better.
  5. Regardless, it's not like south Jersey or Delaware are upstate New York. I think Joe is good in the cold because that's just his genetic make-up.
  6. Heh heh heh....
  7. All I know is that I have been waiting eight days for this game, and if we lose by a field goal, or due to stupid penalties--or even worse, invalid ref calls--I am going to be one unhappy camper.
  8. I'm not willing to go out on that limb, but I very much hope you are right!
  9. Yeah, it happens every year. Then we get that long, dark, cold stretch between football season and baseball season, made even worse if the Ravens aren't in the playoffs.
  10. Dang. Pittsburgh looked really good against the Jets yesterday. Even with the three picks, Bell was unstoppable and Taylor just couldn't mount much of an offense. I am one nervous puppy.
  11. It gets stated every time they pass over him for the HoF.
  12. With the NFL's prime time rating suffering this year, especially on Thursday nights, they certainly picked a winner for Monday night. No one could have guessed the importance of this game when they were doing the scheduling. Here's hoping that Monday's ratings set a new record, and that the whole world gets to see us put a stomp on the Patsies!
  13. Like Brady missing two games with a sore backside?
  14. I hope we can say, "You ain't seen nothin' yet!"
  15. I hope we can keep our guys healthy for the long run!
  16. You know, all of this post-Miami hype is getting me a little unnerved. Let's all calm down.
  17. In September of 2000, second game of the season, Ravens vs. Jags, I told my friends, "Whoever wins this game will win the Superbowl!" Only time I've ever been right in my life!
  18. I still remember when the Titans and Jaguars were our main rivals. Things come and go.
  19. Know your enemy .... Flacco and Brady should have a side bet on this game: if the Ravens win, Brady has to put a Flacco poster in his bedroom, maybe on the ceiling, right above Giselle.
  20. I'm afraid that all it will take is one bad series or an INT early in the NE game to demoralize us. I hope we start strong, like we did against Miami. If we do, and force NE to play catch-up, then I think we'll pull it off. And if we do, then THAT is some momentum to carry forward.
  21. Led by the Brady-killer Suggs!!!!
  22. Ravens moved up to #8 in power rankings, finally ahead of Pittsburgh. Monday night can't come quick enough!
