Since when have we ever drafted need first? Its always been best player available i mean its not like an automatic stater at RT was available when we were picking anyway so essentially we would be drafting Ricky Wagner over again. My point is a team is never going to get every hole filled in the draft. What exactly is your point?

You speak like this the last draft ever, and im not ignoring right tackle i just accept the fact the draft is not the only place to get players. Some will get cut and we can sign one.

Well what postion do we need a starter for besides RT? I mean we can't have a pro bowler at every position but if thats goal then that is just unrealistic

Well using that logic the season must start tomorrow and we cant sign any veterans late in the offseason like Corey Graham, Bernard Pollard, Vonte Leach or Ricky WIlliams like we have before

There is a possibility with the salary cap, Mack is a center, the Highest paid center is just about 6 mil and that's the last few years on the contract. Typically contract are back loaded meaning that the first year or two have a low cap number. So it is plausible to think that a with relatively low first year cap number we could come close to making him the highest paid center. Now I'm not saying Oz is going to do this because he's not into paying new guys with record breaking contracts, but the salary cap would not be the reason the front office wouldn't go after him. Plus its not like there's a penalty for trying to sign him

Unless we sign Alex Mack I think we're done with signing free-agents until after the draft. Oz will draft best player available and find which rookies can really play ball and adjust accordingly with the post June cuts

Isnt that all a RT is... Just a disappointing LT, but a top 16 Tackle overall is what you would want right? And the Raiders are just going be the Raiders and go after the fastest Tackle in the draft (like that matters) lol
