Okay, got it. Makes sense. I used to have a lot of stuff deleted in my first 2, more confrontational years.

Has this been sent to whoever for review? I made mention of this 2 or 3 times. Also asked why post counts are lower. I am short 500 or so posts, not that it matters, just curious why they disappeared.
I love lamp.

Once you've clicked the circle or star to view most recent post, its the greyed out. Meanjng you can no longer access the last post unless manually going to it. Pretty stupid to not grey out the circle/star.
Also, please make the Ravens logo in the middle when on mobile take you to forum home.
Both are super simple edits and would make navigating (which is fairly important in forums, ha) a lot easier and user friendly.
This dreadfully slow (when compared to an IP mobile board) "new and improved" mobile site sucks!

Running slower, actually. We'll see how it performs after a week or two when they make further improvements, but as of now, right out the gate, its slower. That's the beauty of an IP Board. Removes unnecessary bells and whistles and it was a great option to have.
No IP Board Mobile????? Are you kidding me??!?!?!?!?!?!?
Okay, where the hell is the IP Board Mobile?
I'd be all fornitfor it, capital is my problem. When you were young how did you start? I assume Good credit or just a good situation. I've always wanted to do real estate.
I have a good job now working for the government but in a sense I'm miserable and feel I'm just withering away lol
Sorry, haven't been on all day. I started as a loan officer for a company for about 6 months and just happened to enter the industry when it was hot and everyone was in it. Some viewed the industry as being too competitive and too saturated, but for me, it was perfect. 9 out of 10 loan officers/mortgage bankers were absolute morons. It was easy to pit others against the competent, halfway intelligent ones (category I thought I fell into) and win the business of realtors, tax advisors, builders etc. Did that for 6 to maybe 9 months, QUICKLY learned the business and industry and then opened my own net branch. That was roughly 2003/4 and the rest is history.
As for capital, if it's the dream, if it's what you want to do, stockpile money and do it when you can. But do it. Do not take on business debt at all costs. Stay liquid and solvent, save now and DO IT!
Oh yeah, vet out any business partners VERY thoroughly. Very! I've had 6 or 7 businesses over the last 13 or 14 years (3 current as mentioned earlier; don't count the radio station as a business and 3 or 4 others), but the only good partners I've had are the 2 I have now and since 2010; twin brothers who are diehard Ravens fans, family men like me and ethical, upstanding dudes. Be careful, my other 2 partners with previous companies were not!
Being originally from New York, I love this stuff! My sister lives in Jersey and she was snowed in I was in Texas the past 3 days when it hit and my wife and I just flew into Ft. Walton, Beach FL today to visit our son (whose stationed at Elgin Air Force Base), daughter in law and grand baby. We'll get back to VA on Friday and I look forward to running my fireplace and playing some Madden 16.
Very nice! I'm moving to Destin in June, just south of FT Walton.
Yup.
Been self employed my whole life (turning 34 next month) and I've been involved in quite a few things.
Currently own:
* A marketing and lead gen company.
* A mass tort law firm (Not a lawyer, though. DC is the only US jurisdiction where you can have non-attorney partners.)
* An ancillary medical program/device company providing physicians extra revenue through both medical and private payors.
* A horrible, money sucking radio station because my partners thought it would be cool.
In the past, I've owned a mortgage company (about 7 years) and also flipped houses somewhat successfully for a few years. First 3 were failures/broke even at best, but the last few in 2010ish were profitable.
Advice for those contemplating getting away from being someone else's slave or working for the man? Just do it! Pull the trigger. Sooooo many talk about it, but never act. Act! Pull that trigger! You may struggle in the beginning, but nothing compares to being your own boss.
Good luck all!

Why not compare him to 2009 Brady instead?
2009 Brady: 4,398 yards, 28 TD 13 INT 10-6 record
Not much difference at all
To be fair and accurate, that stat line is worlds apart from Cassels in 2008.
Yeah, pay cut is one thing. Total team player in that instance. An extension with more years and more guaranteed money is just business as usual. No sacrifice being made there. Not knocking him, just letting everyone know this isn't what some are making it out to be. Either way, glad it's getting done (as long as its not some outlandish extension which it likely will be) so we can get him the team he needs to get us competitive again.

Finally told my folks that we're moving this summer. Listing the house here in Maryland in 2 weeks, under contract to sell our small 2 bed condo (that was a second home for the last 3 years) and under contract to buy our larger 4 bed condo May 31st. Should be an interesting next few months!
