Yeah, knee and back problems on a linemen...no thanks! Especially at $10M+.

So, you'd rather NOT have him AND also have dead money/no cap relief? Brilliant!
I dont get it. $10M a year for a dude who really cant stay on the field. And arent his injuries back related? I dont see back issues just going away and especially on a 300 lb linemen.
The brutally sad thing is that Cousins just threw for more yards than Flacco ever has, higher completion % than Flacco ever has, more TDs than Flacco ever has and an average year for INTs as Flacco...guessing passer rating as well, but I didn't look. I was too sad when I looked up Cousins hoping to make fun of his stats.
And yes, stats don't paint the entire picture, but again, I sad. Sad!

That's not true about team accomplishments and we've also not been all that consistent lately. I don't even understand what this post was saying. None of it is really true at all.

Average? Ok, I'll bite. What other "average" QBs have anything resembling what's listed below on their resume?
- Joe had the most wins (72) in the history of the NFL for a quarterback in his first seven seasons
- Joe has the fourth-most wins (85) in the NFL since 2008, trailing three likely Hall of Famers: Tom Brady (94), Peyton Manning (88) and Aaron Rodgers (87)
- Prior to his knee injury last November, Joe started 122-consecutive games, the fifth-longest streak for a quarterback in NFL history
- Joe’s 10 playoff victories are the most in the NFL since ’08, two more than Brady and three more than Rodgers and Russell Wilson
- Joe’s seven road playoff wins are the most ever by an NFL QB
- Our Super Bowl MVP has directed 24 end-of-game drives that earned Ravens victories
- Joe’s 104.1 playoff QB rating since 2010 is the best of any QB with at least three postseason start
No horse in this race, but I cannot stand team accomplishments attributed to an individual to help one's case.
Pollard was a favorite instantly. Had a custom Jersey made after something like game 4 of his with us.

Because this is an NFL player and in the grand scheme of things, its minor. It's relative to what this COULD have been about or for. Hope that simple explanation explained some of the reasoning for you as to why this is "minor". He pays the tickets and issue is over. Pretty much one of the most low level arrest reasons one can have.
I guess he cant afford the speeding tickets...ugh!
He had an accident..the cops came and he had a suspended license. So they booked and released him, that's it. License is suspended for unpaid speeding tickets, ha.
Seems it could be disorderly conduct or something similar. Was arrested at a bar at 2:00, booked and then released within about an hour.
Better be minor!
Edit - He had an accident..the cops came and he had a suspended license. So they booked and released him, that's it. License is suspended for unpaid speeding tickets, ha.

Of course not.
Its absurd what an average to above average NFL QB can make. A $40M signing bonus? Yikes!
Like others have said, I'd rather have him than not (and be dealing with a QB carousel again), but the money he's making is ridiculous for what we actually get on an individual basis, meaning not as team accomplishments.
How do you hide this upvote/downvote crap? Seeing all these morons downvoting every other post is annoying.

Or just keep posting in the Flacco contract thread like we are.
This guy is just insane. Just not human...
Just had to delete a random quote that the system decided to toss in since it won't allow me to quote what I wanted to.
@ravensdfan complete garbage!

Yeah, thats certainly one of the reasons!

Thanks man. We're excited. We've had a place there for about 2 years that we've vacationed to, but enough is enough. We pretty much cry whenever we leave to come back home. Maryland will always be home, but this is just something I/we need to do.

I like you're thinking. I bought 6 six-packs of different style beers. I think the goal is 2 of each variety.

Destin. Panhandle just below Alabama. It's about as far north and west as you can get and still be in Florida.

Thanks. Excited and nervous and anxious. Moving to Florida, but having to sell 2 places, buy 1, move all our stuff, put our minor stamp on the new place (redoing kitchen, baths, flooring etc), getting kids enrolled into school, shipping a car or two and everything else has me a little overwhelmed right now.
Should probably put the beer down and do something...
Often times when I go to post in a thread, it somehow remembers and copies a previous post. That previous could have been from a week prior even (since the speed of the forum sucks now and I find myself here a lot left often).
One would think as things progress and supposedly get better, so would speed. The IP Board Mobile was crazy fast. This is still so damn slow when comparing to that.

Yes, I'd like to repeat the 2 or 3 posts above here. Again, ATTEMPTING to navigate this place on a phone is impossible. And considering 70% of all Internet activity is from mobile devices these days, massive fail on Ravens part! If one of my developers came to me with a new site idea with NO mobile option, I'd laugh them right out the door to the unemployment line. This is pathetic!
