  1. Who is the last mobile/running QB (outside Wilson...once isn't a trend) to win a SB?
  2. I've sat across the table from Angelos and his people. He's a mostly heartless, slow moving businessman. He is methodical and conservative to the point that it's a detriment to his business growth. Clearly he is a smart and successful man, but the level of success he could have with just a few subtle changes or tweaks is amazing. He will always be this way. It's sad for Orioles fans to have to deal with this guy...then you have Bisciotti.
  3. No. That's sad.
  4. Yowza, ha.
  5. Just because the TEAM a QB plays on hasn't won a SB doesn't mean what they thought they had wasn't true. Romo is a good QB, Marino was a GREAT QB and Dilfer was at best a serviceable QB. 2 didn't win a SB.
  6. Its a two way street. Evidenced by the last 3 or 4 days in this thread, you have extremists on either side. One side feels the need to bash him to bring some down to a normal level and some over praise him to make up for that bashing. It's craziness. I'm not a Flacco lover (I'd love for him to be the 4,500 yard and 30 TD guy every year), but u see what he is. He's an average to above average starting quarterback in the NFL. He can amaze in spurts, but will also make you wonder why just as much. You can certainly win a SB with him under center and you can also easily have a 2-14 season. He's a top 10 guy. Would I like more consistency? Absolutely! As dumb as it is, would I like to see him play with more fire or passion (not saying he doesn't have it, just visually it can be inspiring to others)? Yes. We're in a better position regarding the quarterback position than most teams. I'll take it. But allow me and others to criticise him when he fails or messes up. He's not absolved from criticism or expecting more from. I'd get on any player that made a mistake in a game. It's part of being a fan. /rambling post
  7. Hit 110 on 295 today just for a few hundred yards and then backed it down. Hadn't opened up the 5 yet and M mode was just begging for it!
  8. He'll never play 8 games, let alone 16.
  9. I sure miss mine! 6 more months...
  10. Call it 60/40 in favor of being more crazy that he's considered overpaid by some.
  11. Calling Flacco a bargain is just as crazy as calling him overpaid. Come on now, ha.
  12. Sorry, I cant have fun and play around a bit?
  13. I believe! Ha! http://espn.go.com/nfl/playoffs/machine/_/factor/home/results/400791615~2~400791682~2~400791530~2~400791566~1~400791570~2~400791641~2~400791688~2~400791724~2~400791515~2~400791535~2~400791617~2~400791578~2~400791723~1
  14. I think he was joking. Sheesh.
  15. Nice try. Cute, but not related. I (and most others) don't care how other fans react to calls, no calls, opinions about how they should act, what they should say, how it makes them/me look etc. Again, good try, though.
  16. Why does it matter to you what is right or wrong for how a fan reacts or what he/she says?
  17. Why are you, a fan also, expecting anything from a fanbase? Just live your life and WHO CARES WHAT OTHER FANS THINK. You act like it portrays you in a negative light if another Ravens fan goes off about something or whatever. Who cares, dude?
  18. This is his MO. To make it seem like he is some otherworldly being that sees all from a different perspective. I don't think he understands what a fan is and that there is some level of delusion in every fan. I think it makes him feel better about himself.
  19. Being somewhat blind in fandom of your team. Riveting thread, ha.
  20. Getting that Jacksonville game back and maybe another would be cool. Oh well.
