The happiest news for me was the backwards compatability on XBOX360 games - maybe I'll look into going next gen.
As someone who had the original fat PS3 that was fully backwards compatible with not only PS2 games but PS1 also I have to agree with Sony's stance that backwards compatibility is something people think they want but never actually use.
For the last year and a half all fans have been saying is there are no games on next gen consoles and just as we are starting to finally get some do you really see people going back and playing old 360 games? I mean you already have all the old Halo games on Xbone. Now you are getting all the Gears games on Xbone.
I really don't see people using it especially since the games that are compatible are coming piecemeal and ALL 360 games will not be supported. So if you're a hardcore gamer who truly doesn't want to lose the ability to play your back catalog of games than you will need to keep your 360 anyway.
I give Microsoft credit though for doing this because it must be costing them a fortune.
We have not seen the last of Jon Snow I believe. In some way, shape, or form, he'll be back.
Nothing will surprise me with Game of Thrones but I agree. Jon Snow and Khaleesi seem to be the only two must have characters. I say that because without them entire series long story arcs are done. I mean we just saw the real threat the White Walkers pose but without Jon Snow who gives a crap about the Nights Watch? Then again maybe that's just the point. Maybe the Nights Watch will be overrun and wiped out.
I must admit, I thought Sony and Microsoft rushed to get the original PS4/Xbox One systems out in time for the 2013 holiday season. I thought for sure they would have made them to have 1TB worth of space from the beginning since 500MB is starting to get phased out. Regardless, it's going to be interesting if Sony responds with a new 1TB PS4 in response to Microsoft releasing a new Xbox 1 with 1 TB worth of space.

A 1 TB PS4 was actually leaked a week or 2 ago before this latest Xbone release.
A default 1 TB HD is nice for PS4 but at least you could install one yourself from day one like I did. Microsoft really needs this since you can't upgrade the HD yourself for some silly reason.
I have been a Fallout fan from the very beginning on PC and will certainly be getting this. Having said that, The Witcher 3 has really set the bar high. I finally finished my first playthrough of that game last night at about 135 hours and I'm dying to start a second playthrough. No Fallout game has hooked me like that because the main story in Fallout games has always been its greatest weakness to me. That has to be improved upon in this one. It can't just rely on the allure of exploring an awesome huge open world anymore.
This sucks for the kid. In a related Sun article recently, he said he was doing yoga, stretching and pilates just to avoid injuries during camp. This guy can't seem to catch a break, but the team can only have so much patience. Sooner rather than later, some other player will seize on this opportunity for snaps and take his place.
Some guys are just more prone to injury than others. It's not their fault but boy it is frustrating as a fan. The kid can play but he needs to be on the field first.
I definitely think they continue forward without Geralt based on the way the game ends. But we wont hear about the next Witcher game till probably after Cyberpunk 2077 releases.
Also I've beaten it this quickly because I've had no life since now and the games release lol. Once you get upwards of lvl 23 the game gets much easier IMO. Also try and find the Witcher gear sets; the Griffin Armor in particular is pretty awesome.
I'm played in the 2nd hardest difficulty and I must say I find the game to be pretty easy already. Except for Drowners. I could take on 20 bandits at once but as soon as I run into a half dozen underleveled drowners I get horribly murdered. lol
I'm level 14 now and have half of the enhanced Griffin gear. They're good but not that much better than the gear I had especially since the recommended level for the quest is 18. The gear looks better though. My old gear made me look like a 2 year old dressed me. I have purple pants, yellow boots, green chestplate, and blue gloves. lol
I actually just beat it, but lol yeah picking both does not end well. I picked Triss, but I'm going to pick Yen on my next play through at the Death March difficulty. Btw you don't want the bad ending; it sucks. The good ending makes it pretty obvious where this series is heading after this game.
I never would have guessed.
I looked up the basics of the endings already (Best, Good, and Bad)... I couldn't help myself. This game is supposed to be the end of Geralt's story though. Do you think they might change main character? Mass Effect is doing this and I'm not sure how that is going to work out.
How did you manage to beat it already? I've been playing it like crazy since release and am still searching for Dandelion in Novigrad?
DA:I isn't even on the same level as this game.
Have you decided between Triss or Yen yet? I'm going to pick Triss. Its like the developers want us to pick her since she was your main love interest in the first two games and you get her romance option first in this game. Also, Yen sort of seems like a b****. Still, not an easy decision though.
FYI. I wouldn't try to do both if I were you. Not to spoil anything for you but the ladies don't take too kindly to it. haha. ( I couldn't help myself and looked up soilers)
50+ hours in, this game is still amazing.
I agree. It really makes Dragon Age Inquisition look bad by comparison. That's why developers need to abandon the PS3/360 for good now.
I liked KLM when we drafted him. He was a much more talented player than where we drafted him because of his injury. But for him to suffer another knee injury so quickly after returning from the first has me tempering my expectations for him. It will be what...2 1/2 years (possibly longer I'm not sure) since he's played in a game assuming he is healthy for the preseason this year. I feel for the guy but he might be damaged goods at this point. We are so deep on the d-line he might be odd man out.
Something I think that sets Waller apart from a lot of big "project" wr's is his intelligence. Watch him on the rookie camp series if you haven't already, he's got a good head on his shoulders. His off field issues in college are very misleading about his character and smarts. A lot of the time it's the thinkers and people who spend a lot of time in their own head who gravitate towards certain substances.
Arian Foster is a great example, he's one of the most intelligent and free thinking players in the NFL but he also had his share of substance issues as a young adult. I think Waller is cut from the same cloth mentally as Foster and that bodes very well for his progression as a player.
I agree but the problem is he would be the #6 WR. Would he offer anything on special teams? I don't think so. So if DeAndre Carter proves he could be our returner than Waller might be the odd man out unless we carry 7 WRs which I don't think we will since we might have to carry 4 TE's.
Really hoping its DeAndre Carter.. Feel like he has a good shot at it.
It will likely determine whether he makes the team or not. Even if we carry 6 WR's, which isn't guaranteed since we might carry an extra TE instead, that leaves only 1 roster spot for Waller, Carter, or the guy that got IR'd last year (I forget his name).
Can we give Bobby Engram some love! I'm so excited that we have a legitimate WR coach now who not only played in the league but excelled. His presence alone give me confidence that Perriman will develop.
Za'Darius might just be my favorite player from this draft. From everything I see and read about him he just screams "Raven". Check out this interview. He says his favorite thing to do is stop the run.
Trestman will love Buck Allen. He's a really good pass catching RB. I love how this pick not only fits our scheme, but also our roster and coaching staff.
This whole draft just seemed to fall into place like that for us. Need, value, and even scheme all came together for just about every pick. I can't wait to see how it plays out this year.
While upsetting to think that the Patriots cheated during our game with them, no amount of inflation would've stopped our Corners and Safeties from getting absolutely torched!
The unintended advantage of deflated footballs is what matters to me. By that I mean the dramatic reduction in fumbles since it is easier for players to grip and therefore hold onto the ball.
We all know what type of impact even a single fumble can have on a game and their fumble rate has been 50% lower than the next team (us) since 2006.
Of course I want Goodell to drop the hammer on Brady and the Cheatriots. But whether he does or gives them a slap on the wrist or something in between the damage is done. In the court of public opinion they are guilty. I can't wait for the first road game where the crowd starts chanting "cheaters". It will be awesome.
Meltzer was giving some info from the report, and apparently the equipment manager claimed the video of him ducking into a room with the balls was just to go to the bathroom. He gave details such as that he used the urinal on the wall to the right.
The problem? Bathroom had no urinals.
LOL
From the texts the equipment guys didn't seem too happy so I don't understand why they are towing the company line so much. We already know they requested memorabilia in return but I wonder what else they got. As an accountant, I can see them "randomly" getting audited.
I can't take credit for this excellent comment.
Everyone who has seen Brady in the face of a good pass rush knows his balls are underinflated.
How about a suspension that he appeals (an appeal that he loses)but takes effect after week one.
Fine by me. Either way opening night just go a whole lot more interesting.
Rappoport sucks - he was also a Pats beat reporter so that for what it is.
Rappoport replaced La Canfora didn't he? I don't love Rapppoport but La Confora has to stop talking every 10 seconds and swallow for some dumb reason.
So it seems like Belicheat actually had nothing to do with it and pretty boy Tommy lied right to his face. I actually think I like this result more than Belicheat being in on it. Betrayed by the person he trusted the most.
If it's a screenshot you're hosting, you can just draw a black line to cover those words. Sounds like they don't like Tommy.
I was actually on a Steeler forum getting a laugh over their meltdown over the draft. Thats where I got it from. They had that thing plastered everywhere so I didn't really think too much of it.
The text messages are funny guys, but please censor them if you want to quote/screenshot them - that's "blue language" as Aaron Wilson calls it.
My bad. I was so fascinated by everything else I didn't even notice the curse words.

I have my complaints about Pees but overall he's a solid coordinator. But frankly the biggest reason why I like him is that he is too old to realistically get a head coaching opportunity so we can finally have some continuity there. Even though it meant losing Tery Austin to the Lions, Austin will probably be a head coach in a year or two anyway.
