  1. He was with the Bucs for 2 years and never played in a game. We sign him and in his first regular season action plays pretty well. I'd just like to know what exactly they are doing down in Tampa.
  2. My issue with a lot of the negativity is, while not a perfect comparison, Diablo 3 is very similar. The story is presented better but nobody cares Diablo 3's story. That game end up being the exact thing as Destiny which is a repetitive level grind for loot. And I love both games because of it. It I wanted a compelling story I would have waited and bought Dragon Age Inquisition or The Witcher 3. I wanted to shoot aliens in the face and Destiny gives me that in spade. haha Edit: The one thing that does bug me is what they did with the Grimoire cards. They are essentially journals that you find in other games that fill in the backstory of the game except someone in Bungie thought it would be a good idea to separate them from the game itself and instead make it something you have to look up separately online. That was so stupid. Sucker Punch did the same thing with Infamous Second Son but that was for 1 free piece of DLC not core story elements of a brand new IP.
  3. The game is getting a lot of mediocre reviews. The story is non existent and the gameplay is repetitive. However, I'm loving every minute of it. People allowed themselves to get overhyped yet again. I suggest reading reviews and deciding for yourself but the bottom line is the game is a lot of fun to play.
  4. Advance Warfare looks terrible. Just what I always wanted... a 50 foot jump into a 360 no scope. Yay!
  5. That is a good deal but Madden isn't what it used to be. The lack of competition has really hurt it. They are just going through the motions at this point. Hopefully they prove me wrong though.
  6. A time limit was to be expected. It's similar to the how FarCry 4 is handling it except they are using keys and 2 hour time limits. Regardless, this feature sounds really cool. I just wonder if it will use some sort of streaming feature like PlaystationNow in which case I'm out of luck. My internet isn't fast enough. This share feature is like the return of the game demo too.
  7. I must respectfully disagree. Timed exclusives are meaningless to me. I have a PS4 and pre ordered Destiny but the timed exclusive Destiny content doesn't do anything for me. If I was an Xbox guy I would still get the game on Xbox. Xbox always gets Call of Duty DLC first and it never made me want to run out and buy a 360. Tomb Raider will release during the holidays so you know there will be a ton of other games to play while we wait for the exclusivity period to expire (Uncharted 4). Heck, Tomb Raider might still get overshadowed on Xbox by Halo 5 assuming it comes out that same time. A price cut makes more sense to me than this if the goal is to move consoles. Being more expensive than the PS4 wasn't cutting it so they cut out the Kinect. But frankly, is being the same price much better? It needs to be cheaper to compete at this point unless Microsoft gets some TRUE exclusives and not these silly temporary ones. Why Microsoft never invested more into first party studios I will never know.
  8. Phil Spencer has come out and admitted it is a timed exclusive. IMO this is just another screw up by Microsoft and another reason for people to hate them. Not clarifying the exclusivity right away was a big mistake. It allowed all the anger you see in message boards and comment sections to fester. It makes Microsoft look like they care more about denying something to their competition than improving the enjoyment forcurrent or future Xbox owners. It also occurred to me that Uncharted 4 will probably release Holiday 2015 as well. This could be Square's attempt to avoid a head on competition.
  9. It did. 70% of the sales were on PS4. This deal makes me concerned for Square Enix. There has been talks that they aren't doing great financially. Couple that with the last two companies who signed 3rd party exclusive deals with Microsoft and it makes me think they were desperate for the money. Capcom (Dead Rising) and Crytek (Ryse Son of Rome) are both practically bankrupt. Their games sold poorly and are now getting PC releases in an attempt to recoup some of their money. A Ryse sequel was even cancelled as a result.
  10. Microsoft would have been better off taking the money they threw at Square Enix for Tomb Raider and just dropping the price of the Xbox One instead. They have money to throw around we get it so just take a loss on the hardware. Tomb Raider is a great game but I can't see too many people running out to get an Xbox One just to play it. Meanwhile, this is just another reason to hate Microsoft. Whereas a price cut would be nothing but a positive thing for everyone, all this does is tick more people off.
  11. Nobody should want either Sony or Microsoft to fail. Competition is good for the consumer. If Sony wasn't doing so well there is no way Microsoft gives in and its not just the Kinect. They also did away with the ridiculous Xbox Live Gold pay wall for Netflix and all the free games with PS+ is forcing Microsoft to follow suit. And that doesn't even include all the DRM crap Microsoft tried to jam down our throats.
  12. The main problem with him was his attitude and work ethic. I don't think he had any major legal problem. The Florida CB has major legal problems. He's a police informant now for crying out loud after striking a deal to avoid jail.
  13. I liked the comments DeCosta made during the post draft press conference regarding slot receivers. He basically said "yeah I think its about time we get in on the action".
  14. You really think we haven't contacted them? There are 31 other teams you know.
  15. I agree. Going in I thought we either get one early who can make an immediate impact or try and target other areas while other teams snatch up the WR. That is exactly what has happened. We don't need another developmental WR at this point though.
  16. You see that a lot. A players projected draft position being way off if you go by sites such as NFL.com or SI.com. NFL.com also has Cody Latimer as a 4th-5th rounder and he went in the 2nd with talk about possibly going in the 1st without so much as a whisper of it being a reach. Use those as a general guide and nothing more. Things can change. There is no way those sites put in the same resources in scouting that a team like the Ravens do. That projection was probably make quickly and they moved on. If there is a huge disparity who are you going to trust more? I'll trust Ozzie.
  17. Something else to consider is that whenever future draft picks are traded you generally add 1 round to it if it were for the current year. Therefore the 5th rounder we gave up in 2015 would only be a 6th rounder this year. I read somewhere that the trade worked out this way because we didn't have a 5th rounder to give this year. That makes me wonder why we didn't just trade a 6th rounder this year instead. I get why we would want to keep as many picks this year as possible I just don't understand why the Bucs would be content with waiting until next year.
  18. I have a feeling Miami will have to way overpay to get anybody to go there right now.
  19. Started watching Homeland. I really like it. It's basically the show 24 but with less emphasis on action and more on story and clever writing. It also stars Damian Lewis who has been one of my favorite actors since I saw him in Band of Brothers. Clair Danes is great too. That girl can act!
  20. And Sony has historically done much better worldwide than Microsoft in console sales. If that continues PS4 could have a significant sales advantage.
  21. I watched Battleship last night. It was about as silly as I expected. To think someone got paid to write that script.
  22. Fox should bring it back. Anything is better than Bob's Burgers or any of the other flops they've tried in that Sunday timeslot.
  23. The part that really bugs me is the organization comes out of this looking bad. I'm sure they new the day after the Super Bowl they weren't going to pay Boldin $6 million next year but then Boldin comes out and makes his statement that he will not play for another team. Now we look bad like we were taking advantage of the situation. I just hope Boldin left on good terms and not feeling like the Ravens screwed him over.
  24. I'm pretty sure the trade will be nullified. That does make me wonder though. What if Boldin retired after the draft but before the season? We can't exactly give the 49ers their pick back.
  25. How angry must Viking fans be right now? First they trade away probably their best player (yes even better than AP) but have a chance to replace him with Boldin and they refuse to pony up a 6th rounder?
