I like ragland but I don't think he's going to be the coverage guy we need. I would rather is find a coverage linebacker to pair with Mosley and watch them grow like we watched Lewis and Sharper/Boulware. I want to actually trade back. There are a lot of guys who will develop in this draft and unknowns who will make a name for themselves. Happens every year.
Draft will be here in 3 weeks I'm excited for the first times in years. I think we need this draft to really provide us with 5-7 future starters.

Give me Ragland or Vigil
and call it at ILB anyone but ABrown and Orr ceiling is low

I think Will Jackson gets snatched up at the bottom on the first round.

For the record I'm fine with the player, just not the price
Purple City don't be afraid to be on an island. I don't know any of these posters so please continue to have your opinion. This site is already dominated by guys who can't think for themselves let alone formulate an opinion based on evidence and reasoning.
He is over paid and we just stuck with another bad contract. Honestly I think the next few years will we waste because of bad deals that will "cost" too much to get out of.
I am going on RECORD just like Eugene Monroe. Mike Wallace will bust out here and this should be his final stop before he retires.
Mike Wallace is a cancer. He was in Miami and Minnesota.
No thanks
Living here and will admit grew up a Niners fan with Jerry Rice and Roger Craig being my two favorite players. As I grew up in Baltimore we got the Ravens in 96 and the rest is history. I did have the first seat of season tickets when I was 16 with my Uncle.
Great time and then to win a Superbowl with that defense in 5 years of existence was the best feeling. I remember being downtown for the parade.

Not a football player because he is too fragile (clearly) for football. A mosquito bite seems to sideline this guy! One of the poorer free agent signings of late it seems like. There may be people that defend him, but I'm pretty convinced this guy got his money and takes every opportunity to rest his body against an NFL beatdown! I don't know if his injuries aren't real, but I'm pretty convinced he doesn't go all out to play if he can avoid it. A shame especially after Hurst contributed (albeit innocently) to Joe Flacco's season ending injury. I'm just angry that this guy who we paid so many millions to is proving to be so fragile!
I've argued with Grim that he was our biggest bust FA ever..
I won't mention how I proved that he was over paid and fragile. But I absolutely love this thread.

Both are dominant against the run, bosa can bring better edge rush and disruption, buckner brings a more dominant presence on the interior. Both shut down their side of the field against the run, both being a ferocious bull rush, both can rush the tackles outside shoulder and can take interior gaps consistently, both are very scheme diverse as they both play multiple positions in multiple fronts..
Honestly I think it would come down to the bigger need. Picture bosa at OLB against the run and at 3Tech/5Tech in the pass rush, then picture buckner at 3Tech against the run and 0/1Tech in the pass rush.. I think bosa would get the nod there. I have no preference Honestly but I might prefer Spence by a hair just because we so desperately lack explosion up front
Me want Spence!!!
Bring me a dog! He's our James Harrison.. Just let him hunt

They had the Ravens taking VH3 in the first, Noah Spence in the second, and Kyle Murphy (LT from Stanford) in the third.
spence bombed the senior bowl interviews could push him to 2nd or 3rd round.
7 minutes ago, dpatrickguy said:I don't think Spence falls into the second in any world unless his interviews are just horrendous.
I agree but he might drop. Kid lied twice and lied to his father. That might drop him down a little bit. Totally agree though it only takes one team to love him.
I AM late to this thread but I want Noah Spence badly in the second round.
Bump treadwell
Drop down to 16-17 and pick up an extra 2nd round pick
Grab a solid CB Alexander or WR
Then grab Noah in the second.. Lawd his get off is unreal.
Give me Noah Spence!
No need or a RB I think he isn't even the top RB Ezekiel Elliott is a better prospect in my opinion
Ezekial Elliott will be ten times the pro that Henry will be. You guys will see. Henry does not have lateral quickness. Example of a big back like that he better hope he has a edger george like career but I still project him to bust out. He's taking advantage of his hot moment.
I think Elliott is going be nasty! I'm thinking a healthier version of John stewart from carolina
if we cut Pitta now we save 600k if we designate him post June 1 we save 5 mil but carry some dead money into next year I believe 2.2 dead money in 2016 and 4.4 mil in 2017
Which makes more sense to you if you were running a business?
So give money and options away? Ain't happening.
We would take a hit regardless. How much money do we save pre June 1 versus post June 1.
I'm expecting the team to rework Webb's deal but not in the way most think. I don't see why Webb would take an outright paycut, but I can see him and the team doing his deal with another year or so, maybe two, that pays him incentives depending on how he plays at FS. For instance, he could have escalators that increase his contract depending on picks, Pro Bowl nods, etc. I think that would be fair for both parties.
Yeah, part of me even says let go of Brown. He'd save us some money, not a lot, but some. Then again, Smith is aging. We're in quite a dilemma. Arthur Brown just hasn't become the player I thought he would.
I think I'd rather take the hit on the chin with Pitta and cut him whenever. I don't want any dead cap into next year.
Cut Pitta Now.. take the cap hit now. I like our young guys we need to hit on some players in this years draft.
Yooooo I called that ish!!!
Fluke run by Davis. We just got beat by a third stringer who was behind Mr. I like to party Manziel. Fire Pees now. Keep him in Cleveland.
I say make Pees catch a Uber back home.. Do not let him on the team plane.
Harbaugh needs to stop over coaching and get rid of the fat.
This too shall pass
Bosa isn't the answer..
Good God
This team is a trainwreck...
Irony would be a pick 6 right here.
That's unsurprising.
Monroe plays more often than Dennis Pitta, but he isn't exactly one of Baltimore's ironmen.
Monroe sucks I argued with half the board about signing this guy to that 5 year deal. Now it looks like I'm right. Why would Jacksonville let go of a stud LT please remind me again of any team that would let a young stud LT go for a middle round pick.. I'll wait for a intelligent response.
Well, if you're depressed then it makes sense. He was probably in grief and was battling the phases of this grieving process, and now he can move on to acceptance that he won't play this year so he can focus on getting better for next year.
Bargaining .. so the first six weeks probably was denial. Either way I'm willing to give Perriman a chance. I still think his ceiling his more of a number #2. I want alpha male as my number 1
I was wondering if football is starting to lose it's luster with anyone other than myself? I get it, it doesn't help when your team isn't playing well, but regardless, I feel as though these games are borderline unwatchable.
There are flags on what seems like every play, I can't tell what a catch is anymore, most every hard hit is a penalty, QB's are nearly untouchable...
It is tough for me to enjoy watching any game now. Anyone else agree? Disagree?
I think I'm just getting older and other things are taking priority.. I'm a male pisces Sir.. My interests change a lot. I think it's just me becoming more interested in other pursuits in life.
He is not on the hot seat at all.
Jim Tomsula is on the hot seat
Sean Payton is on the hot seat
Chuck Pagano is on the hot seat
John Harbaugh is a tier below the guy in New England in terms of job security. He wins us won more bowl in the next three years and I guarantee he gets a life time deal.
