    Getting ready to upgrade mine as well. Right now, running a Q6600 @ 3.6GHz (450 x 8), 8 GB OCZ DDR2-1000 RAM, Nvidia 9800GT, 10k rpm Velociraptor for the boot drive, and Biostar mobo.....going to upgrade to the i7; keeping the graphics card and hard drive, and everything else will be new. Can't wait to see how they run!

    Try running very loose timing (6-6-6-24), then work your way up from there once your certain your CPU is stable.

    Also may want to check your clock skew and MCH volts!!
