  1. I doubt Kubiak's system will allow Flacco to reach 5k, but 4400 is a realistic goal. If our defense plays poorly this year, then maybe I can see 5k happening
  2. guys like Stafford and Dalton are perfect examples of stats being unimportant. it's one thing to stack up numbers in garbage time or when you're forced to throw to bring your team back in the game, but I wouldn't want them anywhere near my team if my life depended on winning the game.
  3. We do need a big hitter in the middle. If he has what it takes, he'd be a perfect guy to rotate with Arthur and Daryl
  4. It's all good, I understand where you're coming from. I just hate PFF!
  5. damn...they seem pretty split. Half the board thinks he is a good player, the other half thinks he is good depth, but an average starter. I always thought he was top 10ish, but that may be optimistic.
  6. LOL! No, I'm not on their forum, but good find!
  7. I just adored prison break. it got a bit wacky near the end, but their characters and cast were so endearing. Gretchen is my future wife
  8. He's pushing Gino over to LB (left bench, lol). Dont want to make it sound like he is the second coming; he isn't, but he is in my top 10, for whatever that is worth. After last season, I'm easily excitable
  9. Tampa, my former stomping grounds Sure miss that weather; this winter up here has been miserable
  10. Fair enough, but at least go ask fans of the team if you are unfamiliar with someone. I honestly believe "real" fans have a better grasp of their own players than PFF does.
  11. Jesus, why do people STILL quote PFF as if their opinions mean anything? Zuttah hasn't given up a single sack in over two years, playing at both C and LG, and PFF would have you believe that he is #22 in the entire league? Whatever
  12. haha, I was going to say Jimmy looks like such a stoner in that pic....but, well, you know....Colorado
  13. I agree, all we have done is add an old Steve Smith to last year's roster, so it's not like he has this huge arsenal to work with. But if we can fix this OL, and everyone stays healthy, what we have now should be good enough. After all, we won the SB with a nearly identical cast. However, if Steve Smith still has one more big year left in him, then this season at least, Flacco has everthing he needs. A beast #1, a good #2 deep threat (Torrey), and a reliable TE in Pitta. Of course, that is under the assumption we will have at least a mediocre running game and OL, not what we saw last season.
  14. Cmon now, Monroe isn't going to make anyone here forget about Ogden, but he is pretty solid. He's in my top 10 (barely), but he is still young and studious enough to fulfill the potential that he has flashed over the last couple years
  15. I hope that's a joke
  16. Cool
  17. Can debate the topic all day long, point is that neither is clearly better than the other, not to mention they are completely different players
  18. He'll fit right in over here; I feel for Panthers fans, I remember the feeling I had when Ed Reed officially signed with Houston....doesn't feel good to lose an icon and local hero, even when you know his best days are gone.
  19. Hey, we get rid of Oher AND we get a draft pick for doing so? I'm not gonna complain if it is a 5th, 4th, 17th
  20. Q was every bit the game breaker in his prime Smith was. And he could block as well. I think you have to pick knits to declare one better than the other.
  21. Art and Oher should get us a 4th rounder each, considering the contract amounts and playing time they should get
  22. Don't fix what isn't broken. Flacco's performance last year was much more a reflection of the offense around him than anything else.
  23. I hear that....if I were 100% sold on Marlon, I would say we have one of the best WR groups out there. For now, I think it is above average (that's including Pitta as a WR). But if we fix the OL, we dont need three All Pro's; this is more than good enough
  24. Yeah man, who knows what Steve still has left in the tank; but for such a low price for such an accomplished player, it is certainly worth finding out! Beats the heck out of maintaining status quo. Steve brings us sure-handedness, and the ability to attack the ball regardless of who is around, and awesome after the catch potential -- all things that we are sorely lacking at WR
  25. Torrey gunning deep, Marlon on the outside, Iceman in the slot, Pitta at TE. Health permitting, we have an adequate group for Flacco to work with. Let's get a Center and RT and get our trophy back from the Ravens out west!!
