  1. What a horrible pass by Flacco
  2. That's the Bungles we all know and love
  3. Stop it. Clearly Pees and you know it!
  4. That was a 120M deflection by Dunlap
  5. Are you even watching the game? The offense has been dominant so far. The question is, how long can they keep this pace up.
  6. Nothing new lol. When one plays well, the other plays like crap.
  7. We end the 1st qtr with a 10-0 lead and you people still find a way to cry and nag and whine
  8. 1. I know, just playing along with the hypothetical scenario 2. I think that's exactly why he'd be open to it. If someone is offered two different positions for the same pay, and one position comes with much less responsibilities than the other, most people are going to take the "easier" job. It'd be great if he can focus on nothing but just ways to improve the offense and system, and tailor it to our players.
  9. It's sad when this is the first thing that comes to mind, and I'd be lying if I said it didn't cross mine as well. Regardless, he did the right thing and owned up to that nonsense. Ray needs to understand his name will always mean something special in Baltimore. I hope to god he doesn't let his mouth ruin that...treat the fans and players who played such a huge role in his success with the same respect those people give him. No doubt he still has a lot of love for the place that helped him become who he is, and I am sure he is as frustrated -- probably moreso -- as any Ravens fan is over our struggles this year, but he rarely speaks positively of this team, and that gets really old. Considering who he is, that can be taken many different ways...
  10. Sad but true. The neg button is the new safe place for mental midgets to hide from the meanies who have different opinions. On topic, why not offer Payton a position as OC, and pay him HC money? All he can do is say no. I suspect he may be open to an offer like that.
  11. That's exactly his point. There is zero consistency anywhere on this offense, outside of the QB.
  12. If there were any doubt about his HOF credentials before, this erased it. Congrats, SSS, you deserve this.
  13. Yeah the offense did alright today; they just needed more opportunities. Why can the offense and defense never play well on the same day...offense sucks, defense plays well. Offense plays well, defense sucks...
  14. You should ask your friends if they ever saw Chris McAlister play. He was Jimmy Smith v_1.0, and had a near HOF career
  15. All it will take to replace Flacco is time. It catches up to everyone. I think another 5-6 years should get the job done.
  16. Flacco really needs to play better coverage on these receivers man, and wrap up a dang tackle. Unreal we paid $120M for a guy and hasn't recorded a single tackle all game.
  17. That's how fans are....will always be guys like Jimmy and Flacco, who are among the best at what they do, but fans take them for granted and don't appreciate them. Jimmy is absolutely a "shutdown" CB. How many more times does he have to prove it? Doesn't matter, nobody will ever acknowledge it lol
  18. I absolutely agree with "emotional causes". But consider the great examples you mentioned: Brett Favre after the death of his father. Torrey after the death of his brother. Dez after the death of his father. Tragic, tragic losses that would send lesser men crumbling (and understandably so). Ray Lewis flinging insults? Not quite so inspiring in comparison, is it? However - Remaining UNDEFEATED AGAINST THEM AND SILENCING THEIR ARROGANT FAN BASE!! Now that, that is something I can get down with! Obviously this is a big game for us. And, I think the "emotional causes" are going to be what wins us this game. We have put ourselves in a position where we cannot really afford to lose games. Dallas has put themselves in a position where losing this game isn't the end of the world for them. Our motivation should be higher; I think we'll fight harder for longer than they will.
  19. I'd like to believe that, but Ray was answering a direct question about Flacco. It's not like he was asked about the Ravens as a whole and then singled out Flacco; which is what I think would have accomplished the goal you were proposing. And strangely enough, after reading it a couple more times and thinking on it, after disagreeing with you at first, I'm starting to think you were right to call Ray spiteful and vindictive. Not just for calling Flacco's passion and leadership into question, but then going on to say that he doesn't know anyone that calls Flacco a great teammate and also going out of his way to make a distinction between teammates and friends....I dunno about all that man. All I know is that it was uncalled for.
  20. Oh, it's not a team sport anymore, it's "He hasn't won a game convincingly this year."? He's won enough to put us in sole possession of first place in the division. Now, I can't wait to watch you try to backpedal out of that one haha
  21. So in other words, as usual, you have nothing worthwhile to contribute to the conversation? Got it, thanks.
  22. How do I know? Because I am blessed with the gift of literacy. You should try it sometime.
