  1. haha, I remember those things. I had one and everyone thought I was a drug dealer
  2. People still use fax machines??
  3. Depending on the source, it was reported that we offered him either $16 or $17 per year prior to that season. I don't blame Flacco for not taking it, when you look at other QBs making comparable money. It was insulting, actually (from his viewpoint)
  4. Dude, we drafted Crockett (freaking) Gilmore and a WR in the 7th. Get off Ozzie's back!
  5. $3 - $4M difference annually isn't "close". And of course the organization has a choice on dropping $120M on someone. We have let players walk for much less than that.
  6. While there are quite a few questions regarding S Smith, Brown and Daniels, our QB (and team of course) won a SB with less at those positions. If those guys play like they have shown they can in the past, especially S Smith, then as long as the OL doesnt suck as bad as it did last year, there is absolutely no reason why Kubiak and Flacco should not take us deep into the playoffs. If my assumptions above are not unreasonable, then I agree, Flacco and Kubiak should be lynched if we miss the playoffs again.
  7. Catches build character is what I always say
  8. Stick to your guns girl! No points for being right or wrong; everyone who can form their own (reasonable) opinion is alright in my book
  9. I just assumed he would take the job from Zuttah within the next year or two
  10. Stone her for her blasphemies!
  11. haha, nice!
  12. Dude, I still get crap for my Torrey Smith comments way back when. And Torrey isn't even much better than what I said he would be. LOL
  13. what's crazy is that I actually wouldn't be surprised if Mosely turns out to be a HOF candidate when it's all said and done. Crockett Gilmore, not so much
  14. dang, I can't come up with a family friendly response, so I am going to go back to complaining about Crockett Gilmore in the 3rd
  15. that certainly helped getting over it too!
  16. Who says ILB isn't important or devalued? Look at the best defenses in the league and the impact their ILB make on their defenses and come back to me.
  17. Problem is, we are still waiting for a legitimate argument against taking Mosley. He isn't a need? We still have 7 more draft picks to address those. He was clearly BPA, so it's not like we can say so-and-so was better. We can say his injury history is a concern, rightfully so, but we were assured by the FO that he checked out okay medically, and we have done well historically drafting guys who stayed healthy.
  18. the first few weeks of off-season was such a tease, because it looked like Evans lasting to our pick was a realistic possibility. then he had to go shut everyone up at the combine, and my dreams died on that day. since then, I came to terms with the fact we wouldn't get him, but man, I'd be lying if I said I wasnt praying for a miracle
  19. The two biggest things that game reminds me of: 1. No Mike Evans for us 2. Manziel has a spaghetti arm It is interesting that he chose this game to talk about how Mosley doesn't make plays, but yet we see Mosley making two goalline stops. Against a spread offense, at that, as you said
  20. I can see the Arthur Brown comparison in the sense that they are of roughly the same size, and play good coverage. But that's about where the similarities end....I wasn't that big a fan of A Brown either, just for the record. The only area that I feel Mosley could use improvement is simply adding some strength to his upper body. He plants and drives well, and hits like a 12 gauge, but when he's wrapping up against bigger guys, you can see that he can't toss them around as easily as he does smaller guys --- yes, I know that is to be expected somewhat, but at any rate....
  21. I felt the same way man. But it seemed like every-freaking-single guy that we both wanted @ #17 and filled a need were taken every time the card was turned in. Usually, you can count on three or four idiotic selections in the first 12 - 15 picks, thereby dropping talent into our laps, but it just didn't happen this year. I know some guys here wanted HaHa or Pryor, but I really dont think either of those two are good value so high
  22. About time you came out of hibernation! Haven't seen you on here in a while. Actually, shedding blocks happened to be the one big knock on him early in his career. This past season has laid that concern to rest, for the most part. Now, the only real concern with him is whether or not he will be able to stay on the field.
  23. I can't. The guy has no talent, nor production, he was clearly an idiotic pick by senile Oz. I don't want to waste my time looking for links to games that happened in my imagination. Thank you for setting the record straight for us.
  24. Oh, well that settles it. Mosley wasn't dominant in the A&M game, so he clearly has no talent and is going to bust out on us.
  25. The guy put up 107 and 108 tackles the past two seasons (which are the second and third highest totals in AL over the past 25 years), DESPITE missing a good bit of time due to injury. Methinks you are talking out of your wazoo
