Thanks for that riveting analysis. I don't think anyone here realizes that if either team plays at less than their best, they're going to lose this one. The thing is, if you (finally) find a way to neutralize our QB, we're still capable of walking away with a win. Can the Pats say the same? Can they rely on the run game and defense to carry them when the offense isn't playing as expected? I'm not so sure about that in this matchup.

So, in other words, it still doesn't match Flacco? Got it, thanks for pointing that out and reminding us.

I love Steve. It is criminal that he did not play for the team that he was put on this earth to play for. The football gods designed a WR in the womb, to rescue Boller from himself and to extend the defense's persona to the offense. Just the other day, Steve took a piss, and sure enough, his urine was purple. But he belongs in the HOF, and he belongs there as a Panther. I'm just eternally grateful to have had him at all, especially since he made it a poorly kept secret for years that he'd love to "play up there in Baltimore".

Nah man, a coaching decision here, a dropped TD there, those are the real differences between 7 and 9 wins this year. I cannot in good conscience blame a dang thing on the defense this year, other than that embarrassment against Dallas.
