  1. Actually, they probably should be afraid of Waller if he ever gets more than a dozen or so snaps...he's been showing flashes of beastliness at times. Pretty excited to see what he can do given a full time role.
  2. S 124, 4 rows back, had a perfect view for the SSS TD!
  3. hey brother at the game, checking in on here during the half. If that pass to SSS doesn't give one faith, there is nothing I can do for you!!
  4. No, I was being sarcastic lol. "Elevating the WR play" is the biggest crock of pooh in all of sports.
  5. No, I'm not getting that feeling, its just the same people same the same tired things over and over again
  6. That's because he elevates the play of those around him
  7. Sorry! Thought you were serious LOL
  8. Nonsense.
  9. I keep hearing people say this ridiculous crap....even if it were true, which it isn't, I would put my family over my job too. You say that as if its a bad thing.
  10. What planet do you live on? Flacco has gotten criticized by everyone and their grandmother all year long. Not making ridiculous statements =/= "not criticizing him"
  11. Like we were talking about before Mili, we need to get smarter, starting with the coaches.
  12. The announcers were laughing at us because there were four Patriots fighting over the sack. That play was a three step drop, there is no way in hell that four defenders should be in the backfield that fast. Forget a scrambling QB, we needed a teleporting QB on that play
  13. My bad, you are correct, 6 vs 6. Regardless, hooollyyy crap! How does that even happen?? sigh...
  14. Well, I hate to take the easy way out here, but it isn't an either/or thing. I think we could absolutely get more talented at some key positions. I'm not proposing that our WRs are top of the line, same with TE and RB. What I am saying though is that collectively, there is enough talent there to form a dangerous offense. Sheer quantity of "good but not great" players should mean that every week, one or two of those guys should be having a big game. But they don't. Why is that? They aren't being put in position to do it. Running the ball 4 times the entire first half isn't being aggressive, it's being reckless. How is the passing game supposed to take off when the defense knows that nearly every offensive play being called is going to be a three receiver set and the pass is going to be essentially a long handoff? Then we see absolutely idiotic execution, which does nothing to help. Just look at that picture codizzle posted earlier. Ridiculous. We need to get smarter, it starts with the coaching. In their game plans, and in teaching players.
  15. LOL!! Triple teaming one guy while Wagner has three rushers crashing in on him, doubling up the guy behind Flacco while Nankovich comes in untouched...I mean it absolutely blows my mind that six blockers vs five pass rushers, and we find a way to let three guys come in untouched. And our receivers STILL find a way to get blanketed!
  16. I agree. Flacco clearly doesn't give a crap, all he wants to do is count his money and play with his kids. Thank you for this intelligent post, I'm sure the homers will disagree with you though.
  17. RIP Konrad
  18. Being patient would have got him murdered last night. The protection wasn't there for him to wait for people to get open, like he was able to last week.
  19. LOL you guys crack me up! Flacco has to go "weather" its his fault or not. @LosT_in_TranSlatioN ... how does that saying go? Glad the... I think your example of the Patriots winning w/o Brady, Gronk, etc answers your own question. I mean objectively speaking, what do you think our offense would look like if Billick were running the show? The Pats aren't really more talented, but they are much smarter, especially that defense of theirs. The sum is much greater than its parts. Then look at us. We have caught glimpses of what this offense can do many, many times over the past 8 years. We have a gifted QB, Wallace, SSS, Pitta, Gilmore, Waller, and some talent at RB. Terrance West and Dixon are exactly the kind of RBs that Billick's offenses have made great players out of. A guy like Billick or Payton make sure those glimpses of what the offense is capable of a weekly thing. I think the talent is there, but the brain power isn't.
  20. I wonder if the day will ever arrive when people realize stats are meaningless.....but yeah, I see the irony in that too LOL. People always wanting "a 4k yard season" or a "30 TD season", when those numbers are meaningless...but he he puts up stats, then it's still his fault if we lose... the double whammy is that these are probably the same people who are the first to complain about it being a team sport when we point out Flacco's W - L record.
  21. The silver lining to that is Brady had a huge game, we played like crap...and we could still very easily have won that game had we cleaned up a mistake or two. The talent is there, we just need to play cleaner football.
  22. I wish I were, most of them need to be derailed lol. Just wanted to say he saved my bacon tonight, so the real life loss was bittersweet for me
  23. Well, tell you what...first week of the playoffs in my FF league. AJ Green and Julio Jones out with injuries (and had great matchups), Alshon out due to suspension...those are big time points sitting on the bench. Faced a very real possibility of one and done...my boy Flacco came through BIG time. Check out the final score!
