Yeah, I realize you think that, I saw your post on the last page, which I refrained from commenting on. And to an extent, I kind of agree. On this very page, 15 or so posts up, I said:
"If you look at the stats, you'd think he was damn good, but watching him move around the pocket and on that sprint, it was 100% clear that he just is not himself physically. He looks nothing like the Flacco we have seen the past eight years."
And here's the part where I did not chime in and agree. You were quick to: credit Flacco's completion % to the OC (there is a degree of truth to this), speculate that the INT to SSS never had a chance of being completed (despite it being SSS in one-on-one against a nobody DB), said that this was "an atrocious throw" http://www.baltimoreravens.com/videos/videos/NFLN-Perriman-Pulls-In-Acrobatic-27-Yard-TD-/1db4e937-0962-4d67-a34f-f28fbda7762d (when it is clear as day that the ball was placed where ONLY Perriman even had a chance to make a play on it)
I mean I get it, we can't point to injuries or the consistent screwups of the people around him as a defense for his play. But now, we can't even acknowledge him when he does well? We have to wait until he does it "consistently"? We've been through this song and dance for the past eight years. When he plays well consistently, it's because the running game and/or defense carries him, he's just a glorified game manager. If people are going to call Perriman a bust after 4-5 games in the league, I'm going to tip my hat when he deserves it to the player who has played the biggest role in our success "consistently" for years now. Neg away people, because I that's what I do. That's what a real Ravens supporter should be doing, rather than playing the role of arm chair Ozzie.
