Thanks a lot Hurst, you bum [profanity removed].
And to think I had actually convinced myself they'd get the stop.
A pitch to the left side with this junk O-line?
All those people on NFL.com ragging on SSS make me sick to my stomach.

This was the first time that I noticed Elam's play on the field (starts at :17). The results are unsurprising. Poor instincts and tackling skills.
Could've had Diggs. Dude is tearing it up for Minny.
- Two dropped TDs by SSS
- Two dropped INTs by the D
- Two INTs by Flacco
- Horrific time management
- Poor challenge calls
- O-lineman jogging to the LoS on the final drive
- D letting a scrub like Quinton Patton get that wide open
There it is.
Two dropped picks, two dropped TDs.
The time has come for Pees to go. I think that you can debate one way or the other about whether today was his fault or not, but at the end of the day one game will not tell the tale, but the summation of his tenure has been littered with disappointment. I think some of you actually believe that all he does is call the plays, and that is one of the most truthful lies I have ever heard. I think the constant rhetoric is,"What is he supposed to do, tackle for them ? " or "He can''t execute for them!" Can he physically go out there and do those things no, which is why so many people grasp at that, but really, look at what you are saying,
That is basically saying since he has been here or at the very least the last 3 years we do not and have not learned to tackle, we do not and have not learned how to keep our assignments on the back end, we do not and have not learned how to communicate on the backed, we do not and have not taken any pride in what we do, we do not and have not been able to close out a game that is tightly contested, we do not and have not been able to put people in the right spots to succeed, we do not and have not been able to develop players with incredible raw skills, we do not and have not taught the finer points of playing defense sans d linemen, we do not and have not been able to take a talented player and get him to the next level.
I mean I could go on as most here could but if you have not learned how to do any of these things in three years is that really the players fault. I could see one, maybe two players and those players would be called busts. I, however, can not explain how it seems players have started to regress. I mean honestly, does that make any sense to somebody else ? If it does, please explain it to me. I want to know how Jimmy started to come on under the tutelage of Pagano, Teryl Austin, and Spagnuolo, but when they leave we are no longer able to continue development. WE make the same mistakes over and over again. Lets take for instance the off coverage. I know this is a major point of contention with many people, but lets look at this. People say that Webb is not able to press, well I mean dont you think that the right coaching could at least get him competent at it ? Jimmy RARELY does either, I emphasize rarely because he does do it. I saw today he pressed Benjamin but missed, however, the extra time did what it is supposed to, and throw off the timing.
I also think that we really have to asses the mood and demeanor in which we play, if we are playing flat that can be a multitude of reasons, but may stem from coaching, maybe they are not excited about the scheme or the play calling and thus are not playing with enthusiasm, maybe they just flat do not like Pees and he has lost their respect, maybe they dont appreciate him throwing them under the bus last week. I mean at some point though you have to see that they are not responding well to him, and they sure dont seem excited about much. I see more "swagger" from the offense than the defense, which is fine, but that has not been the case before, and when you consider the defense has more talent I am not sure what that means.
I would also like someone to rationalize the conclusion that we have a talent deficient defense. I think Jimmy is good just being used horribly, I think Will Hill is a monster, I think Brandon Williams is a Monster, CJ Mosley is very good, Carl DAvis is playing great football, Timmy Jernigan is good as well but not utilized enough, Dumervil is good, all those players are very good imo. Webb is playing much better ball to the point where he is above average, Za'Darious Smith is playing well for a rookie, so where is all this talent deficiency coming from ? Does Pees really need the Pro-Bowl defense to call and execute his scheme ?
Then when you consider what his track record has been as defensive coordinator we are below average most cases usually peaking at average, I believe there was one year there was an outlier to that, but we are in that general areas. I am really looking at his body of work and what he has done in the past, and what he has done lately, and I am wondering where you get all of that optimism from ? He has shown nothing to be really optimistic that he can have sustained success without guys like Ray and Ed to run the defense.
If the argument is execution and talent, you have to ask who is responsible for making players more technically sound, and developing the talent of your roster. Both of those are overseen and implemented by none other than Dean Pees. The buck stops with him, unfortunately for him.
This is totally on point.
Players aren't buying what Pees is selling. It's time for him to close up shop.
To those who think that Pees should remain (beyond the 2015 season, that is): What does Pees bring to this team that cannot be had with another DC? If he isn't the main problem, then is he the solution?
The Ravens WR corps had 1 reception the entire second half. 1. Reception. The. Entire. Second. Half.
Pees brings nothing to the table that couldn't be found elsewhere.
Bye Pees.
That play call by Trestman was mind-boggling.
Tucker be seeing $$$ in his future.
LMAO at San Francisco.
I'm mad jealous over Josh Norman. Guy is an absolute baller.
Good = Will Davis, Will Hill, Jimmy Smith, Brandon Williams, Aiken, Flacco's key throw to Aiken to put the Ravens near FG range, O-line's run blocking, Harbs' time management towards the very end
Bad = Marlon Brown, O-line's pass blocking
Ugly = Flacco's knee fumble, no push on short yardage situations, spotty offensive playcalling, Ravens giving me heartburn
An unknown in Will Davis making critical plays.
Need 6 here.
It's the same for 4th quarter stops too.
An interesting point was made on the RSR forums: How often do you see players here, current or former, praise Pees as a coordinator? Good things are routinely said about guys like Rex Ryan, Wade Phillips, etc., but I don't believe I've heard a peep about Pees.
Disorganized confusion.
Dean Pees had Kendrick Lewis 1 on 1 with AJ Green. Remember Week 1 of last season? Yeah.

This terrible because it's not only further derailed this season (not like it wasn't already all but done, but still), it could carry over into the next one too.
