    Yeah, about the brother in law. Tzaneen....and Ventersdorp before that! I've been to both places. Tzaneen is cool. Loads of hunting nearby. He's making his first trip to the States this Christmas.

    I'm from Pretoria, South Africa.

    I only started seriously watching the NFL this year. It's pretty tricky. The games are broadcast at 01:00 in the morning over here.

    I'm a huge rugby fan so I've always felt a connection to other impact sports. The more I started learning about football the more I loved it!

    So I had to choose a team...

    The Ravens stood out like a sore thumb!

    I'm trying to save some money so I can get a Jersey, even an old one, and one day actually go over and watch a game.

    English or Afrikaans as a first language?

    I'm married to an Afrikaans speaking South African. Been to the country four times now. Awesome place. Kruger Park changed my life.

    My brother-in-law (living in Tzaneen) choose the Eagles, dummy.

    Anyway, welcome friend. You'll find a wealth of knowledge here. Congrats on choosing the best team in the NFL to follow.

    I've been a Ravens fan since 98' I'm from Montreal Canada but I have moved to Edmonton,Can. Even tho I'm up here in Canada I've been a football fan way more than hockey. I've only been to one NFL game ever and that was a couple of years ago to watch Favre play his last game for the JETS....Although I'm a huge Favre fan the Ravens are my team!!! In saying all of this I'm dying to get down to Baltimore this year for at least one game. Could anybody let me know what corner of the field the Ravens come out of at the start of the game. I would love to see the Ray Ray pre game dance and just get right into it!! Thanks from the only true Canadian Ravens fan that I know!!

    See the tunnel by 115? Thats where. Although if you're seated on that end, you'll just see their backs. I sat opposite, in 139 and had a blast.

    Originally from Westminster MD, moved to Virginia Beach virginia about 25 years ago, and been a diehard ravens fan since they began. My girlfriend lives in Pittsburgh and everytime im up there representing the ravens, i always get dirty looks... but nobody has said anything to me lol. I have a huge ravens sticker on the back window of my car, hopefully no-one does anything to it (knock on wood lol). From 05-08 me and my older brother have had season passes in section 107 and 231. He passed away of a heartattack and died in my arms last february (08), on super bowl night at half time. I guess the steelers really were the death of him :( lol... anyway, its been hard finding fans to relate to, and even be able to talk football.. thats why i joined here, because me and him lived ravens football, all year long. And being here gives me that chance to do it will all of you.

    Hope everyone continues to be a true ravens fan, and goodluck to our team this year!!

    THAT WAS THE WORST!!!!!!!!!!! My daughter and I went to the NFL Experience rocking our 52 and 20 jerseys and had to hear a lot of trash talking but I didn't mind because it was the refs that gohttp://boards.baltimoreravens.com/style_images/ravens/folder_editor_images/rte-underlined.pngt them to the Super Bowl anyway. I moved to Tampa just before last season and come to find out I moved 2 doors down from a Steelers fan and now the Penguins won the Stanley Cup it's going to start all over now.

    Ugh, I know. I live in St. Pete. I also have a HUGE Ravens decal on my back window and the Steelers fans are like cockroaches around here.

    Yep, the HEAP chant was really noticeable. I wouldn't say 1/3 Ravens fans, more like 1/5 or 1/4 Ravens fans which is still a lot. ]But we were a lot louder than those Ravens fans. There were actually sections that were Ravens fans only, and when I was arriving, I saw buses full of Ravens fans, and A LOT of Ravens tailgates.

    And POE, Im a Dolphins season ticket holder and go to their games and root for them as long as they dont play us, so tell me and I'll get you some tickets

    LOL, not were we were sitting, I felt sorry for the 'fins fans. The Ravens fans were singing "Nanana hey hey hey, goodbye" when the crowd started leaving before the end of the game. :lol:

    I had friends back home tell me they could hear "Lets go Flacco" chants on the TV, how cool is that?
