  1. Then why do you always compare it to Drive lol?

It got similarities, but it's actually not only watchable, it's RE-watchable. And it can't be a knockoff of Drive if it was made years prior. wink.pngI mean, look at this cast.......Christian Slater as Clarence Worley, Patricia Arquette as Alabama Whitman, Michael Rapaport as Dick Ritchie, Bronson Pinchot as Elliot Blitzer, Saul Rubinek as Lee Donowitz, Dennis Hopper as Clifford Worley, James Gandolfini as Virgil, Gary Oldman as Drexl Spivey, Christopher Walken as Vincenzo Coccotti, Chris Penn as Nicky Dimes, Tom Sizemore as Cody Nicholson, Brad Pitt as Floyd, Val Kilmer as Elvis, & Samuel L. Jackson as Big Don

  2. Since you're a horror buff, you should look up Ed Gein. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Psycho and Silence of the Lambs can all be traced to him.

I know all about Ed. He was a sick puppy although there are worse ones throughout history.

Where I work we sell, among other things, artwork. We had two pieces by John Wayne Gacy. I really didn't like being in the same room with them.

  3. The critics on RT are absolutely heartless, so that's telling me something.

PS, weren't you the same one that said reviews mean nothing? :)

Yes. I generally don't follow reviews, but if something has an 80%+ favorable (Drive not included) its usually a decent flick.

All the positive reviews so far are just gushing over the new twist they've given this movie. As a huge lifetime fan of the horror genre, I'm really excited to see it. They've apparently done a great job on this one.

  4. Nah, I think It looks pretty bad... I'll wait for DVD.

I thought people who had seen advance screenings were loving it. I said before it looks like Friday The 13th meets The Truman Show. I can't wait to see it.

20 critic reviews in in rotten tomato and a 91% like rate is not too shabby.

  5. Anyone saw John Carter? It looked like a blatant Avatar rip-off to me, please tell me if you disagree...

I have not seen it but I know the John Carter story is actually decades old. Almost 100 years old, in fact. So I'd say avatar is the rip off.
