why was he suspended? That is my only concern for him. IDC if he never learns a route in his life, with that size and hands he should be a problem for other teams.
out of curiosity how many jerseys does everyone have?

I got my Williams jersey already in ready for him to dominate!
Can he play 5 tech???
concerned w/ Pitta if we picked a TE. Im not sure about this pick I say that because I am a big GIllmore fan.
I like the Myers pick for depth and some competition if KO leaves
does this concern anyone?

Honestly its encouraging. Every big guy like Davis has inconsistency issues coming out. But racking up 17 pressures in 2 games shows the talent we have and grabbing that at round 3 is great
I hope he wears 86 and we just chant HHHHHHHHEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAPPPPPPPP every time he catches the ball for the next 10 years.
I was thinking about that the other day. Maybe Arthur Brown is just homesick or something.
To be fair..you can't compare a ucf game to one in NFL but..ok
It isn't comparing the coverages it is comparing the drop. That is all on the WR.
What do you guys consider his ceiling as a route runner. Is fluidity something that can improve over time?
Makes me cry everytime...Love Torrey but Perriman will better.
But really IDK why there wasn't more flack for Torrey with that in the national media. Literally the worst c'mon man of all time. At least Sanchez tried during the butt fumble. Same w/ Cundiff and Evans.
But let's not poison this thread GOOD LUCK PERRIMAN,
Make of this what you will:

And for a counterpoint, that also goes in-depth into some of the plays he ran in the CFL:
Fair point in that first article, but the thing is Plummer, Gannon, Cutler all had their best and efficient years under Trestman. Also Flacco pre Trestman resume is worlds better then anything those 3 have done. Im not predicting that Trestman turns Flacco into a 40 TD guy but there is clearly a bias in that first article.
I don't think I ever was as excited for a second round pick as I was with him and how he played in college. I hope he gets it together and makes an impact
I think Castillo was way over his head trying to gameplan for the run. He is probably best with just teaching technique.
I get a lot of flack for this but I think it maybe an effort/desire issue with him. I say that because he showed up at 228 pounds his rookie year knowing he is going to play in a 34 defense. His skill set (speedy undersized LB) should make him a special teams machine and he isn't getting in any time there. I remember him saying he never was a big fan of the game itself growing up (a reporter asked him a question setting up the easy "Im so pumped to replace my idol ray lewis" answer and he said he never really watched football growing up.) He may just be burnt out.
How about Mike Williams former Tampa Bay and Buffalo WR. We did have interest in him come draft time, he had some solid years in Tampa (9,11 TDs). Has stayed out of trouble. Should be worth a vet minimum risk.
Something is up w/ Stills if they took on Ellerbe giant contract just to get rid of him.
Brooks has shown he is the most talented player besides Hill for our safeties and has made plays in his rookie year. He is just very raw and seems to be in the "dog house". Gino hasnt shown anything.
Now that I think about it I would prefer to have him be a nickel. Add another physical prescrnsr closer to the line of scrimmage. We can have Brooks and Hill both go play deep. They can go support the run well if need be.
Do you guys feel we will keep him at nickel back or slide him back to SS?
We must be going traditional 43 now
We have all been late to work/class before. But if you quit your job out of no where then ask for it back. When you go back it is a real bad look if you are late.
I still think we can "win" the Boldin trade. I know we all wanted Boldin to retire a Raven because he is the definition of a Raven. Obviously he would have helped a ton last year but w/ that o-line and running game we wouldnt have been legit contenders. We were able to get 3 legit starters on defense in Canty, Smith and Doom for multiple years. Also if we have Boldin do we even bother looking into Marlon Brown? Maybe not. We also wouldnt have Steve Smith this year. Going into this year we should have an improved running game and Canty,Smith,Doom,Brown and Steve Smith >>>> then just Boldin
With Suggs done, I heard a radio discussion this morning that there is a chance the team may use the franchise tag on Arthur Jones once they've reached a deal with Pitta.
fyi,
The DT number is $9,182,000
I dont think we could eat that cap hit even if we don't re-sign Monroe. I hate to say it but it looks like Jones is walking
in Ravens Talk

that criteria is real tough. I would have to say Brent Urban if he is healthy. Also this is pure wishful thinking but hopefully something magically clicks with Arthur Brown
