You said you havent watched anything on him. Mayock said he was a 3rd round talent or something along those lines, and most thought he was going in 4th-5th. His subpar combine did him in I guess. Whoever picks him up is getting a potentially really good player.

32 teams figured they don't need to spend a pick on him and will try their chances in UDFA.

I still don't believe anybody could toot Jerome's trumpet over Eddie Jackson with straight face.

Yeah I see that. You know he just wants to go make the play. The boy is hungry as hell. Sometimes it bites him because he has such a great motor that he just lets it carry him away sometimes.

I think Suggs is gonna really take this guy under his wing and help make him something special. I look forward to a lot of "bicep bumps" between him and sizzle when they bookend a qb over and over

Can't wait. Maybe we see that nose broken again.

Because the raw player who everyone said needed a year to develop shockingly needed a year to develop and everyone has acted like it was some massive shocker.

When your team goes 5-11,fans expect a lot more from 2nd round draft pick. The worst is - he hasn't shown any progress throughout the year.

His run defense is highly underrated. He has shown some solid ability there when given the chance. He just was too valuable with fresh legs and Saban could afford to sit him on run downs.

and even if he never becomes a run defender, who cares lol. We drafted homeboy to get the qb, and he does that as well as anyone in the draft not named Myles Garrett.

Fun number, he had a sack for every 10-11 snaps over 2 seasons. That INCLUDES run snaps.

Knock on his run game was mostly about his tendency to move in too quickly when more often than not he should just set the edge.

We were unbelievably lucky to get him in mid third. Found ourselves another one to light it up for 10+ years.

After all the anticipation and announcements made to draft "PLAYMAKERS" and the money we spend scouting players and evaluating talent, we seem to always find the Matt Elams of the world, I think "safe pick" must resonate instead of finding difference makers with our front office these days, just keep getting the same ol same ol guys, and at best 8-8, this pick speaks of mediocracy.

Just what exactly did you expect in 6th?

That's not going to happen. Ozzie isn't going to trade for someone on their last year before big money. Can we package arrington and Watson for a 6-7 round pick for ford or dupre? Please ozzie

Only if you can find a team that will give a pick so these two can announce retirement in that team's city
