Back in Auckland and able to use a device that isn't my phone. Time to grab some pictures and make a big board.
Lmao, people will think Auckland is the only place in NZ where we have power and broadband.
You people are not kidding, plenty nice picks.
so he'll pick tomorrow.. Got it
And it'll be someone already taken
lmao, do you two have to piss him off every time?
I have joakim noah already or I may have haha
Haha is in the other draft. Taken though.
Was hoping that Drummond would fall a bit. Terrific classic Center. Rebounds and protects the rim at a top tier level.
I love the fact that he can really move, too - gives you some interesting options on both sides of the court.
I just couldn't pass on Rose. Was going back and forth between him and the you all know who and decided to bite a bullet. Huge risk but my hope is that he's done with his share of bad luck. We'll see. I do have a backup in mind but not just yet.
Sorry about that.
No worries - we'll have allblackrave soon, my 48hrs coming!
Don't worry. I put something very special in the roster thread for him to cheer him up!
While you're at it, can you please add "n" to the "allblackrave" ?
I like George pick. Very "duh" considering few guys that went ahead of him.
Yes, sir. Just looking for the picture. This may be the "duh" selection of the day. Two others were considered, but no way did I expect to be in this position at #7.
Seems like two others are being reconsidered.
I'm going to be in the (very) small minority here, but I probably would have taken Durant first...
Discuss...
I would definitely consider it since I'm a big Durant fan but I can't honestly see myself picking anybody else but Lebron.
There is amazingly little love for Justified EVERYWHERE from what I see. I've been watching it since the pilot aired and I was hooked. I admittedly only watched because I have a man crush on Timothy Olyphant and knew little about Elmore Leonard's works apart from some movie adaptations. It is the best drama on tv in my opinion. Every character is so well written and acted, it has a substantial amount of depth, even for just the characters who show up for a few episodes or less. Plus lets just face it, Raylan Givens is the coolest character on tv if you ask me (Walton Goggins as Raylan's "frienemy" gives him a run at that coolness himself) Anyone who has seen Olyphant as him a
has to put him in their top 5 in that regard. The season that just finished was admittedly my least favorite though I still enjoyed it. Fortunately they set up the final season extremely well and I'll be counting down the days until it boots back up in January.
Olyphant is very good but my favorite character is Boyd Crowder. Wait is going to be worse than waiting for draft this year.
Just watched Draft Day and 3 Days To Kill in two days and I'm starting to develop a case of hate toward Costner. First he is Browns GM, then die hard Steelers fan. Buying a purple bike is not enough to let him off the hook.
Can someone enlighten me on why is there so little love for Justified around here? We never got it aired on TV here but I went through 5 seasons in about 3 weeks and thought the show was brilliant.
No, he definitely likes to whine aboout getting more money, and has no shame about taking it to the media
Just a little:
Do you trade long-term security, for a chance at another title this year or next?
Trade such as this one is not likely to determine our chances at winning another Super Bowl in next 2 years. If anything, chances should be better with Torrey, considering he is entering his prime and $ difference can be used to help getting good player elsewhere on the team.
They took West, Crowell, and Desir right before us.
We could also pick Johnny as a backup QB if they didn't steal him, too.
Some of these guys we saw via Wilson's tweeter and are not signed as UDFAs might still be in on workout invitations.
CB Avery Patterson ... I know nothing about this kid other than what I read on the front page. But his production at a big school like Oregon certainly speaks for itself. At a position of need, he maybe has some potential.
He started as a CB and converted to FS his sophomore year. His size/physicality is a little bit of a question mark but has pretty good ball skills.
Yup, that's why we take him off the board at 99 and pick up Gillmore with 134.
Ozzie said they had conversation about CBs only in the first round. Everywhere else corners have been way too far from our pick. So, I'd argue that the Ravens wouldn't have selected Desir with 134 if he was there.
We wanted TE and there wasn't a great depth of the quality ones in this year's draft, in fact he was the last good one left.

I think that's the brochure
He had 11 receptions for 80 yds at UNLV last year. can someone say name brand only?
Kid is listed as WR/DB. From little video I glanced at, he was mostly ST guy, returns kicks and blocks well on ST. Hard to gauge the speed but looks to be like his dad - not the fastest guy on the field but can cut on the run. Elusive.

I don't care much for this pick to be honest. One of my favorite players over last decade but he just seems to have lost interest in the game.
