That's a big score swing
I find it hard to believe Suh got just one game. I mean there's a history of idiocy there. Now I really want Dallas to beat them, so he doesn't suit up again until next season.
No surprises there, Jim Harbaugh to Michigan:
I would love if Jim surprises everybody and takes the Jets job. He'd likely have a say in new GM's hire. Why the hack not?
That was a proper fight. Kicking guys on the ground, throwing punches, complete chaos...
OT in the first ever Miami Beach Bowl. BYU vs Memphis.
How did that DE from BYU look like?
NFL Mobile has the video. It was clearly a stomp.
Yep, he kind of paused, looked then jumped on Ferguson's calf. Premeditated. I'm surprised he only got one game.
Melvin is a good football player. I like him and I'd be comfortable knowing he's around next season.
Seems like a good fit...
Man, that's cold...
Oh so, what prevented them from doing this before? Maybe he wasn't innocent before and the 49ers let him get away with what he did the first time. Then again since he had the cops on his side it was easy for him to get out of the domestic violence case. Now we see this and think, maybe he did commit domestic violence.
Maybe they have 3 strikes rule internally?
The Police are searching Ray McDonald's house after an accusation of sexual assault.

Keenan Allen done? Broken collarbone and banged up ankle:
DeMarco Murray injured last night, broken bone in his hand. Surgery scheduled:
Looked OK but we'll find out more once he's facing some real O.
On unrelated note, Burfict is done, placed on IR.
Rapoport on NFLN said no major injuries according to source close to the situation.
Don't get me wrong, I know what you are trying to get at but you gotta remember that this isn't the NFL, the NBA, or even the MLB. The worst team isn't getting a top draft pick, there are no free agents, and there is no recruitment cap or anything. It is the wild west out there and not all programs are created equal. The big programs get the recruits and the recruits give them wins as long as there is good coaching. Wins then attract even more recruits and so on. Programs like Alabama thus have a significant edge over a program like Vanderbilt because of it. It is essentially unchecked capitalism with all the good and bad that comes along with it. One good thing is that when teams get too good, they lose players to the NFL and thus need to keep recruiting and coaching up their players but if you get good coaching and talented recruits continuously, odds are that you are going to be good for a long time. Thankfully there are plenty of other factors and programs can rise up like Baylor did a couple years ago under RGIII with either a superstar or good coaching or both. Baylor is probably the best example of this and what they have done the last 5 years is nothing short of spectacular. And programs can fall off as well, USC, Texas, and Miami all have fallen into mediocrity from huge heights.
I get that completely.
Is there an interest to try and change the status quo? I mean there has to be an interest from the smaller programs but is there some support for that?
The problem with that is the fact that there are 10 conferences and over 100 teams in the FBS all fighting for 4 spots. If you want to expand the playoffs to something like 24 or 32 teams then that could be realistic but there are going to be quite a few schools with the same amount of losses at the end so how do you decide who is better if there are only 4 spots available? And if you expand the playoffs, how many games are you willing to play extra as the players are students? And if you seed the conference champs, what happens with the American Conference where the title is shared between 3 teams this year? Would it be great to see a giant playoff field? Duh, but it just wouldn't be feasible right now. I see 16 teams as the absolute max(and that is 4 games at the end on top of the regular season so even that is a bit extreme.) and even then it is hard to justify 5 non power 5 teams being in that top 16 let alone if the conference titles are shared between teams like in the American. I think we end up expanding to at least 8, maybe 10 or 12 but I think that is absolutely fine. If there is a TCU(well not now but when they were mountain west) or a Boise who is deserving of the spot they would get in but I don't see why every conference should get a spot, and if you do that then you get even more conference realignment as a team like Auburn will want to play in the Sunbelt so they essentially have an automatic bid. I just don't see that as a realistic option at all with the way things are.
Lol, now that you put it this way, I can see certain logistical issues....
I could be wrong (in fact, I'm almost certainly wrong), but I was under the impression that those games were at least partly organised by the schools themselves.
That's what I was thinking. I thought it had to give these unknown schools exposure and perhaps that would help them financially (Idk).
But what's the problem with making schedules in a similar way to what NFL does? Play a bunch of conference games, bunch of rival conferences (rotate conferences every year) and couple of no name schools. Value each win the same - 1 and each loss - 0. Heck, sometimes you get to play NFC West, sometimes NFC South, that's life.
Seems more fair to me than having a group of people, whose main agenda is not necessarily football, decide on vague personal opinions of who played better and had stronger or weaker schedule.
That Oklahoma State win might have all sorts of repercussions going forward. Watch for big game from FSU and going over TCU for #3.
Who hit him?
Barry Church
If you were relying on Brandon Marshall to help you win a fantasy championship, I'm afraid I've got some bad news.
The Bears believe that Marshall is done for the year.

Yeah, confirmed - broken rib and a collapsed lung. Out for the season.
That was dirty, cheap shot on Marshal. He was already down, could have just touched him.
The way FSU has played, I'm not even sure they will be able to keep their playoff game (assuming they beat GT which i doubt they do) competitive. Any of the top 10, would steamroll them and most of the top 20 could beat them.
You might be right but that's not the point. Rankings should be based off what teams did not what could happen if <insert here)...
They haven't had a loss for 2 years, they deserve higher rating than this.
Yeah, that's pretty ridiculous. If you're the only unbeaten team in the power five conferences, I could understand a case for being at 2 or even 3 if you've looked a bit average.
Every team has struggled and every team has beaten its share of cupcakes this season. FSU's struggled more to win and had an easier road (although I could go on a tangent about how certain SEC teams get overrated early in the season and the flow-on effect that has), but they're still the only side that's still getting it done.
Ah well, the committee gets its Beasts of the East and Best of the West bowls. I hope they're happy. As complex as the Ravens playoff picture looks, at least we don't have to go through all that rubbish.
Thank our Holly Lord. If there was a commission involved, we would never make playoffs.
