Not sure what to do about RT. The current guys on the team are about as bad as it gets for starters. There's some OT's in the draft I like, but none have really played RT before. Flipping a guy to the other side of the line isn't always that easy and a lot of guys can't do it comfortably. I guess the team could work them out and see how they do there, but I'm not really sure how to evaluate that from tape.

They will definitely work out few guys before the draft to see what can be done. Maybe Dunlap?

I don't need to see it. He passes the eye test and he showed what he can do against the best in the country at the combine. Nobody could gaurd him. Alabama totally underutilized him and we shouldn't look so much into production but rather the traits.

It seems to be always the case with Tide come the draft time - offensive players mostly underrated, defensive ones little overrated. Obviously not all of them but it's a general rule that holds I think.

I don't think so. He will not escape the second. There are teams out there like the Cowboys or Jags that have shown they're not afraid of taking top 10 talented players with injuries, hence Jaylon Smith and Myles Jack.

Sidney Jones pre-injury was arguably the best in class CB. I think teams willing to wait will be rewarded. I'd snag him in the second no doubt

Maybe but I doubt it will be Cowboys in Sidney Jones case - they need to draft entire secondary to have someone to line up next season. Can't rely on rookie recovering from achilles.

I really would love to see Webb back here, I personally think Judon needs to get the nod, he was highly effective and looked primed for a breakout(and the ZDS rookie year is apples and oranges here, one looked very good and the other got lucky on blown assignments, save it please). Webb is excellent depth and having an extra guy who plays both s and cb inside and out is huge. If anyone goes down we have a veteran and perhaps the 2nd smartest/savviest db on the team who can fill in anywhere.

Not as if this would determine whether he comes back but

When does the @beradpick turn over to me, does he still have 12 hours or 6 to pick ??

    Skip is at 11:04 ET

berad is on 12 hours, since he made the pick after the first skip and before he was skipped again. If the skip happens, he will be on 6 hrs clock. Every subsequent skip after that cuts the clock to half the time.

This was actually my major area of concern for KO following the playoff run. I didn't think he moved well enough to the second level or identified second level blocks well enough.

Of course, I'm not expert on the line and that clearly turned out wrong.

I wouldn't say wrong - some guys just need more time.

    Am I crazy??

Were my posts boiling over in optimism?

I don't hear anyone freaking out about DE or ILB when our current starters are likely Urban and Correa respectively.

No bc we've got young players who haven't had a chance to prove themselves who can step in. No ones dreading that.

But having that opinion on the offense is crazy optimistic??

You're not crazy but for me you generally appear overly optimistic through your posts.

    Example:

    Quote

Dixon, Stanley, Wallace, Perriman, Pitta, Boyle, Maxx, Gillmore, Moore, West, Lewis, Yanda, Flacco, Camp, Woodhead, Watson, Buck Allen, etc...

and many of them haven't proven they can't play.

Someone else might argue that many of them haven't proven they can play consistently, at least not in Ravens uniform

Here's the thing though - this draft doesn't seem offense heavy as far as plug N play prospects. I'm pretty tired of a #1 WR that would be a #3 on any other team and a #2 that was a #1 back in the day but would probably wind up #4 on any other team as well. Not to mention, Ozzie seemed to...

By my count we'll have around 9 "new" weapons this season that weren't a part of last year... or we're only available for a very limited part.

    Dixon and Woodhead.

    Camp, Moore and Reynolds.

Maxx, Gillmore, Boyle and maybe Watson.

    Perriman flashed...
