ill personally be right there with you watching minkah fitzpatrick, Calvin Ridley, bo scarbrough, dashawn hand, and Ross pierschbacher (who I noticed watching some of the cam robinson tape)

I'm not certain Ridley and Fitzparick declare, as well as Ronnie Harrison, who is my next favourite.

Lmao, same, tbh. And ya know, I still can't make sense of inside zone ;)

Oh how I wish quality, intellectual discussion (as intellectual as football can get) was rewarded and not killed.

I wish few of you guys are moving over to the new board, wherever we end up. Can't go back through archives any longer, you'll have to start explaining everything from scratch!

I wanna second that @BmoreBird22 schooled me up on coverage big time, a few years ago I couldn't even point out a cb being effective in zone and barely understood the concept of off-man, like if you're playing man why would you give separation from the very snap of the ball? Lol.

And @The Raven helped me grasp inside zone because i couldn't make any sense of it myself, I thought it looked just like a gap scheme on film and couldn't tell them apart.

If it wasn't for these forums I wouldn't know any more than the fans they interview on wjz after the game... and if you've ever seen that, you'd know that's a good thing lol

and thanks for the shoutout @rossihunter2

also, with the likelihood of us taking a bama player high every draft, @allblackraven could be the resident Alabama expert. But then again he has an obvious bias😂😂😂

I'm just rolling with a tide, Joey :P

Of course, people obsess over things people don't have. Observe the excitement over finally drafting an explosive edge rusher. Ok multiply that by 1000 and that explains the obsession over a legit WR

But we have 2 guys, Wallace and Perriman, legit enough that we can't in all seriousness expect Ozzie to start asking around about some players mentioned in the thread. They would just cost more than Ozzie would ever give, considering it most likely would require good future pick and serious $$.

Oh because I disagree with you my remark is out of place.  Yup way to prove the point that this mb is used just for people like you to Fuss when you don't get your way and try to talk down on other.

In the last page or two I've seen you Fuss and whine and attack other posters. That type of posting is probably a factor in why the Ravens don't want an official mb.  It's not welcoming to ALL Ravens fans.

It, like most online communities, has clicks and bouts of bullying that doesn't make every member feel welcomed.  If the org is trying to present a family environment guess what type of post/people don't help.

You are missing the point again. Too late to go and re-read what's been actually said and what you implied, those posts are removed now.

I'm sure families around the world will be delighted the board is history this coming Saturday and that they can finally rejoice in RayRay's facebook trolling.

I haven't been on the computer today, so I haven't checked today's news, but the article indicated that the new policy was written May 1st and would go into effect at that time.  At the time of the article Keenan couldn't be reached for comment as to how it would effect his military status. If you find out anything could you please post a link, thanks.

"According to a DOD spokesman the policy change requiring two years of active duty does not apply retroactively to Ravens WR Keenan Reynolds.”

Yeah - it is tough to just boot somebody ... they really have to be cited for breaking the rules. Being extraordinarily obnoxious alone isn't grounds for dismissal. The thing is so many people who the majority of posters find obnoxious are also hyper critical of the team to a ridiculous fault. Start removing them and the cries start to pour in about being a homer site, not allowing for contrarian opinions, etc.

I guess a rule could have been specifically created that your posts need to be in readable English. That would have done the trick.

I kind of like the reddit concept ... they remove posts if enough people neg it, don't they. If you make it a large enough count,. It allows the posters themselves to judge what needs to be removed and doesn't need to be justified by some specific rules violation.

I appreciate what you're saying and I have no issue with any of the other frequently mentioned people who hate Flacco, Harbaugh, whatever. But I really don't understand how RayRayRaven was allowed to post so much garbage, regardless of whether he agrees or disagrees with anybody on the board. That crap is incomprehensible and I'd say obvious troll. There was no 'value' in letting his (different) opinion heard even if he was a genuine poster because there's no opinion there, there are no legible words and sentences in his posts.

Why use 145 characters when the point was made in less?

I don't use Twitter because I frankly don't care.  I also find your post indicative of why this site is closing as opposed to growing.

Your remark was completely out of place and indicated that you couldn't be bothered to read what Tank said, yet found it appropriate to imply something that he didn't.

He played soccer from 3-13 years old. Played Rugby at 13 for 1 year. Moved to the US at 14 and started playing football.

Hes now played football for 6 years compared to 1 of rugby. Neither is much experience. My point was simply that playing 1 year of rugby probably wasnt enough for him to learn and retain anything meaningful that would carry over to his football playing. Hes now got far more experience playing football, which itself isnt much.

Yep, I got that and I agree - just wanted to put emphasis on your point :)

too long for the average member to want to read.  That said.  If you're not sure of the reasoning or believe what the have said is the reasoning, as it doesn't fit your ideas, then you really cannot discount their reasoning.

Exactly the point @-Truth- is making. The reason is the quest for numbers in a "flavour of the day" form, without any regard to substance.
